ITunes did not download full album that I bought

I bought an album today and as the was being downloaded onto my computer a warning came up and said I was low on disk space and had to delete stuff to open up space. When that warning occured there were 2 of the 11 songs were downloaded, then it stopped and did not begin after after I cleared the space. So pretty much I paid $10 for 2 songs and want either the remaining 9 songs or my money back. Anyway to do this?

In iTunes, advanced>check for purchased music, to see if your download will restart.

I downloaded a album but it didn't download all the songs.

    Hey Bryer7794!
If you have purchased the whole album, then you will want to use the instructions in the article below to find your past purchases list then re-download the album from there:

  • HT203200 Itune did not download all my music and I paid for it

I Have 35 songs that my iPad did not download and I paid for them, what can I do?

Downloaded from where? Did others download at least?

  • IPhone 4 will not download full albums over 3G any more...

I download albums a lot when I'm at the gym. I always did with my 3Gs. Over 3G. Now all of a sudden I can not with the iPhone 4. It's telling me the file is more then 20mb and need a wifi connection. Obviously this is false because the phone downloads the album as individual tracks so it never exceeds 20mbs. Plus this is still possible on my iPad. I downloaded a full album over 3G today as a test. Can any one else tell me if they are experiencing this.

Maybe just maybe, the download difference is there to help you avoid extra data charges through AT&T since new users are now measured and charged for extra data usage?? Remember that there is no data measurement or extra usage charges when using WiFi.......Just a thought.......

  • HT201272 An album that I previously purchased on itunes did not download properly and some of the songs cut off in just a few seconds.  How can I fix or re-download this purchase?

How do you re-download an itunes album previously purchased that didn't download fully the first time?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • What can I do if iTunes did not download the song completely but thinks it did?

I have no clue what happened, but I bought an album off iTunes and it said the download was complete, but when I try to play the songs, they cut off midstream and it won't let me re-download them. Not every song cuts off, only a select few do, but it also won't let me convert them to AAC version files.

I figured out a solution. It's a really long process, but if you want the music you paid for, it's worth it.
    1. you have to delete the songs that don't play all the way through off you computer.
    2. go to purchases under the store category on your side bar.
    3. at the bottom right hand corner there is a thing that says download previous purchases, click on that
    4. click all songs or just find the ones that didn't download correctly by artist.
    5. when you find the song, if and only if you already deleted the song, it will have an arrow on the right hand side. That is what you will press in order for the song to begin redownloading. I would suggest only downloading one song at a time.
    6. after the download is complete listen to the song to make sure it plays all the way through this time.
This worked for me, but ONLY if you delete the songs first. otherwise it will not let you redownload them.

  • ITunes not downloading entire album I just bought,

I bought the Red Dead Redemption original soundtrack last night. And I had some trouble getting it to download. Like it would download 3 songs at a time, but as soon as it would finish downloading and start processing the file, that was all it would do, was process the file.
This went on for an hour, with me trying to find ways to get it to actually finish downloading/processing to no avail.
I finally gave up and shut my laptop down and went to bed. I got up later this afternoon to finish downloading it, and surprisingly it worked. Except it didn't download all the songs from the album. The album has 19 songs, and I currently have 12 of the 19 songs in my Library. And I only have 16 songs in my purchase history or whatever it is. And it won't let me transfer those 4 songs from my purchase history into my Library(don't know if I can upload it onto my Ipod cause I haven't tried yet)despite the fact that I can play them just well.
So I am missing a total of 7 songs from the album. And I can't find them on my computer, or in my iTunes Library.
And the only solution I could find was to redownload the album again, but that would charge me again.
This is crap, I bought the album outright, don't get all the songs, yet if I want them all I have to spend another 10 dollars to buy the whole album, or spend a dollar buying each individual song.
So is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue?

Did you realize you can report problems to itunes store support?
This is just a user forum - nobody posting here can fix failed downloads for you. However, if several users here complain about the same album, they usually get it fixed on their servers more quickly.
If 10 people can't download the latest episode of "Community", for instance, it's probably because the file isn't right, rather than 10 users having PC problems.

My advice is to ask for another download, or store credit.

  • I bought an album and some of the songs did not download for the full length, but others did. why? and how do i fix it?

i bought an album from the itunes store and some of the songs did not download the whole length... why? and how do i fix this?

Delete the incomplete tracks from your library, sending them to recycle bin, then download them again from your purchased history. If the problem persists use the "report a problem" links from your account history to contact the iTunes store support staff.
Are the incomplete tracks ones that you had previewed before purchasing the album? If so there may be a bug that needs reporting. See this recent post which explains why I ask the question...

See if you are able to redownload the album by clicking "Purchased", under Quick Links, at the top right of the iTunes store.

  • TS1362 I purchased an album from itunes and a song in the middle of the album did not download completely. So, the song obviously cannot be transferred to my ipod because the file cannot be converted. What can i do?

I purchased an album from itunes, and a song in the middle did not download completely. All the others did. So, I obviously could not transfer that song to my ipod because the file could not be converted. What can I do?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • HT203167 I was downloading an album off of iTunes and it did not download one of the songs for some reason what should I do?

I was downloading an album off of iTunes and it did not download one of the songs for some reason what should I do?

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option find it ? If not, then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes for downloading (if there is an complete download of the track listed in the Music part of your library then you will need to delete it from there before it will get the cloud symbol in Purchased for redownloading) ?
If you can't download it via either of the above then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I bought an album and one of the songs did not download completely.  It shows that the song is 3:17 seconds but only got 40 secs. of it.  How can i get the rest of the song back?

I bought an album from itunes and one of the songs did not download completely.  It shows in the player that it is 3:17 but only plays for 40 secs.  How can i get the entire song back?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • My full iTunes purchase did not download; what are my options?

my full iTunes purchase did not download; what are my options?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading selectDownloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloadsisunticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
