Itunes didn´t reconize my ipod and I had activate the apple movile device and it doesn´t work(i have windows 7 and itunes)

I bought my ipod 4th generation and I started it it was everytihig right but I wanted to put music and when I connected the ipod to the pc it says "This device cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device Service is not started"

HT201406 I've done the steps to get on my ipod again because the screen is not working so I held the power and home button until the apple logo appeared but it still wont work I have tried twice now and I still cant get on

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Just received my Ipod touch this morning, PC recognises device and says that is is ready to use (however then it is not recognised in my computer) and upon start up of i tunes the following message is displayed.

I have the latest version of itunes and windows SP2.
