ITunes dies again and again
After recently upgrading to iTunes 6, it started quitting on me. Sure, it would open and everything, but everytime I tried to play a song, iTunes quits and the "Report bug to Apple?" box pops up. What's wrong with this picture?

Itunes keeps asking for me to authorize purchased songs again and again
I placed all my songs on an external harddrive. Then I got a new computer. I am now using a Vista machine with an Intel Dual Processor. I placed the songs on a new internal harddrive using SATA. I reinstalled Itunes, etc. Now, whenever I ask for a song purchased from Itunes to play, it says that the machine is not authorized to play the song. So I put in my password and a prompt comes up indicating that my machine is now authorized to play the song. I push okay. The song does not play. If I push the play button, a new prompt comes up saying agin that my machine is not authorized to play the song. I then put in the password and a new prompt says that my machine is now authorized to play. I again push okay, but the song does not play and I do this again and again and again.
I have tried to get rid of the sd file. I have tried changing my password. I have tried changing my ID. I have never changed my account. It's always been the same one since I joined Itunes in 2004 or 2005. I have purchased 280 songs since then, so I'm really upset that I can't access those purchased songs. Everything that is not purchased works fine.
I should say that my new computer stutters sound and video a little bit. I've done some things to minimize that but it still happens. I don't know if the two are related.If you've done all the steps in this article,

I have tried to re-install iTunes 11.0.3 at least 6 times.
I have also downloaded iTunes 11.0.3 at least 5 times.
I have changed my Apple ID password.
I have downloaded (again, I've done that many times) iTunes 11.0.3, then I switched off the iMac, then restarted the wi-fi modem. Switched on the iMac, loaded iTunes, same problem.
I tried to just switch off the wi-fi, did the same as point above, same problem.
Even tried to change the system date to 2038, this only seemed (although I doubt it) to fix the "not responding" issue which I had this morning.
The Apple ID password issue, where it asks me for the password loads and loads of times (probably 50 times or more), one after the other has been happening for about 3 days now.

iTunes Problem, can't seem to find a solution online.
I am running OS X 10.8.3 on an iMac, have just loaded iTunes 11.0.3 a few days ago.
Firstly, I'd open iTunes and it would immediately say it was not responding, I'd have to force quit, try again, re-boot, try again etc. I tried re-installing iTunes, changing password, everything to no avail, then changed my date to 2038, and voila it started responding (no, don't ask me, I just read in online and was desperate enough to try it). Of course, I don't believe that this actually helped, I would like to know what did help or if there is something specific one needs to do to fix this.
I have not been able to get rid of this problem: Whenever I try to make a purchase it asks for my Apple ID password, dozens of times until I give up and press cancel, cancel, cancel.
Why does it do this? I don't want to purchase anything because I can't keep typing in my password again and again. I'm not exaggerating.
As I mentioned, I have tried to re-install iTunes, about 6 times, and I changed my password. I still get the same problem.
Also, my iTunes still looks like the classical iTunes and doesn't have the new interface.
Has anyone experienced this and was able to fix it, or does anyone know what the problem is? Btw, a simpler way to do this is to revert to older iTunes app, then hold Option when it launches and choose an older library. -
I have an iphone 3GS and I have upgraded it to iOS 6. Since then it doesn't work properly.
Every now and then it has been restarting by itself and requiring restore. When I connect it to itunes it restarts again and again without letting me take any action. Is there any solution?Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

how do you stop itunes from downloading apps over and over again and again like for ever it wont stop help.
i tryed everything i can in the setting and so on , i even clicked on the downloads arrow to pause it and delete them but like i said it will now stop.
theres apps i just dont want. theres a list of them but theres not a place were i can get rid of them. it also says some stuff about icloud yeah right like i have ios 5 or 7 ha . pod touch 2 is what i have lol . plz help thanks.to the right by search library theres an arrow there click on it : it will show you what it is downloading , from there you can pause and select all and delete them but still will continue to download them if you tell itunes to check for downloads. that download engien is crazy i tell yeah.
no matter what we do it will still download them trust me i tryed everything and i also went to icloud to see if it was there but to what i see is that there is no apps there this is some crazy itune program that needs to remade. -
Itunes asking me my billing verification again and again on the same computer. I don't know why it behave like this. Anyone can solve my problem?
I already provided my 3 digit CVV number but Itunes again need to confirm the code whereas on my Office Computer I am purchasing Apps on Itunes without verifying my billing information again and again except once at the time of creation of account.
Please help me as I am charging by my Credit Card bank by US$ 1 each time when I give verification code.

Sign into your computer and removal of credit card information. Here are the steps:
1) Open iTunes and sign in to the iTunes Store.
2) Select "View My Account" from the Store menu.
3) Enter your password and click the View Account button.
4) Click the Edit Payment Information button.
5) Select "None" as the payment type.
6) Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.

Download a free content on to get recognized in iTunes.
To ensure your account is functioning, try downloading a free item from the iTunes Store. To do this, navigate to the iTunes Store main page by clicking the Home icon near the upper-left corner of the window. After you are able to download the free App try updating the billing information as usual. -

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.

Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

I have an other kind of error occuring in my Itunes program: "unknown error has occurred (-42110) what can I do!!!!! I have uninstall the program and re-installed and the error appears again, and again. Itunes still works, but every time I open it...the error shows up.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.

I have a iPad 3 (wifi+cellular). Today I updated with the latest software update. But after the installation of the update it doesn't start. Again and again the apple logo flashes and nothing happens. I tried to reset it by accessing it through iTune. But it is not recognized by iTune. Please help.

my itunes keeps opening on its own without me opening it, it will happen again and again even after i close it. how do i fix it to make it stop doing this as it is extreemely annoying
If it is doing it while your device is plugged in, it is because it is set to automatically sync. Please go to: Preferences>Devices, and select the option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically." Also, I hate to be "that guy", but you spelt extremely wrong. Just a pro tip.

When I want to syncronize my photo's from my computer to my Ipad, I get the message "itunes photoprocessor was not installed correctly, please reinstall itunes, error 7"
When I did so, the same message appears again and again.

Very strange. Two items to try:
a. Enable iCloud Status and iCloud Download fields in Song view, sort on status and look for any 'waiting' or 'error';
b. If (a) looks good, establish a new user account, create an empty library and enable iTunes Match, confirm that this provides access to all Songs and is working well.
These are seeking to ensure both no bad Songs or local Library corruption - both are relatively quick. -

Can you access your email account through the web interface from a computer using the new password? If so, you may not be typing in the password correctly in your iPad email client. If not, then you've forgotten your new password. Try resetting the password again from the hotmail web interface.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
