Itunes difficulty to put pdf files to my Ipad

Why its so difficult the new itunes, it used to be so easy, i always have to go through pain to put pdf files in my ipad.
Any video tutorials on how to do this easily?

Hi GrattanGuru,
You have creative cloud subscription as you have mentioned. Under Adobe Reader to convert PDF to other formats Adobe offers online service called Acrobat.com services: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us.html
That would be the reason support person might have told you on call, that you have to pay for that service.
Under creative cloud you are getting Adobe applications. However under Acrobat.com you are getting online services which are providing Acrobat functions online.

Ajlan Huda.

How do I get pdf files into my course?
I have seen other courses with a tab for pdf files. The documentation say that yo can put pdf files into a course by uploading it to iTunes U, but Apple no longer support uploading content to iTunes U.

If you can upload files to your iTunes U site, you can upload PDF files.
However, if you iTunes U site was created after the beginning of 2009, then you have a self-hosted site (that is, you cannot upload files to Apple). Sites created today are all self-hosted. In a self-hosted site, you distribute files through RSS feeds that you setup at your own institution. PDFs should also work for when you self-host.

  • How to put pdf file on crystal reports.

    Hi all,
I'd like to put pdf file which is the attachment of Item master on crystal reports.
I tried OITM.attachment but it only shows the location where the file is, not file itself.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi you can add it as a hyperlink (just remember: all the attachments are in this one line, so you need to separe it by ";")
or you can simply use the insert>OLE object>Adobe ...
Be vary it has some limitations.
I think this is what you are looking for

  • How do I get my PDF files onto my ipad

I spoke to apple in February and they helped me put ove a hundred PDF files onto my ipad.  When I open acrobat under the heading of documents is where all the files reside. I even made subfolders. Well, I forgot how to do it and called apple again today and they told me with the new ibook update, all pdf files get placed under ibooks. not only that, I cannot make subfolders.  Their only suggestion was to get an account with acrobat and transfer them that way.  I uploaded the files here, but now I cannot figure out how to get them onto my ipad.  Any help would be appreciated.

You can either select GoodReader at the bottom of the iPad's apps tab when connected to you computer's iTunes - it should appear as one apps that support file sharing (there is info on file sharing in the manual which can be downloaded from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad). Or the app itself supports wifi transfer via you wifi network - just touch the wifi symbol (next to the camera) at the bottom of the app on your iPad, and you should be given an address to use on your computer's browser so as to transfer files to/from the app.

  • I can't properly sync PDF files onto my iPad!

You see I have numerous PDF files on my iPad. But whenever I try to sync a new one I'm forced to also resync all of my old files too along with my apps that have already been synced! This is obviously frustrating because it takes 10 minutes for everything to sync! All I want to do is sync the *new* files that I had downloaded. Not the old ones because I already synced those! Also, another problem is that I can't delete the PDF files off of my desktop because when iTunes syncs the old & new PDF files it apparently searches to see if those PDF files are still on my desktop. If one PDF file is not found on my desktop iTunes deletes that PDF file off my iPad!!!!!! Wth I can't even place those PDF files in a new folder. This is very irksome because my desktop is now filled with PDF files so now everything is all cluttered and disorganized. I just want to download a PDF file, sync it, and then delete it off my desktop, or at least place it in a folder so it'll all just be in one place instead of scattered all over my desktop. Sorry if this is confusing I'm just really frustrated with how complicated iTunes has been so far when using my iPad. I have an iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4 and I never had such a problem with syncing. Help!

You must be singed into the Apple ID you used to purchase the movie.  Also, not all movies can be redownloaded.  It must be permitted in your country (see country list for Movies here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085), and also must be permitted by the movie studio (not all studios permit redownloading).  You would have to contact iTunes store support to find out for sure: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • Syncing PDF files into my iPad Mini, but will not show in iBooks

I am trying to sync PDF files into my iPad Mini but it will not appear in the iBooks app on my iPad Mini. I have tried to unselect the book and reselect, sync all or sync selected through iTunes. Still have not figured it out! There is 9.75gb left on my iPad Mini which is more than enough space for the PDF files.
    Please help!
    Thanks,

There is the free iBooks app which lets you save PDFs (you can copy PDFs either via the Books part of your iTunes library or the 'open in' option in Mail), or there are paid apps such as GoodReader

  • How to save PDF files on an iPad files

How do I save PDF files onto an iPad?

There are several common ways to do this:
    1) Email the files to yourself and choose "Open In" from the mail application by long pressing on the attachment(s)
    2) Use a file sharing service like box.net, dropbox, gdrive or skydrive and choose "open in" from those applications
    3) Use iTunes as I describe in response to this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/992991

  • I have an iPad 2, and I am sending PDF file to my iPad, via a Hotmail email. But, the PDF arrives to the iPad in Mail already opended, as a picture on the bottom of the email. Is there a way to prevent it from auto open, so I can open with iBooks instead?

I have an iPad 2, and I am sending PDF files to my iPad, via a Hotmail account. But, the PDF arrives to the iPad Mail account already opened at the bottom of the email. Is there a way to prevent this auto-opening of the PDF. I've seen screen shots with the box, and PDF listed inside the box, but mine open automatically. I want to get them into iBooks...?

I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong?

  • I need to visualize a document attached on a pdf file on an iPad.  Is there any application  to do that ?

I need to visualize a document attached on a pdf file on an iPad.  Is there any application  to do that ?

    Yes. Quite a few actually.
Starting with Apple's own iBooks App, I also see many recomendations for Goodreader, and Adobe's own PDF Reader.  Just to name a few. Look for them in the App Store. iBooks and Adobe reade are free.  You can also search the App Store for other alternatives.
Also for most PDF's the Mail App can open them directly.

  • Is there a way to download/view PDF files on the iPad without using another computer?

One way is to get the GoodReader app. It has a built in web browser that allows you to web surf and download pdfs into GoodReader. You can read them in the GoodReader app or open them in other apps that can read pdfs.
