Itunes does not recognice my cd burner

I´ve tried updating Itunes and my cd burner driver but i still can´t burn cd´s from Itunes. I can however import songs from a cd to Itunes, but when it comes to burning, all of the sudden it doesn´t recognice drive, what to do, what to do???

I have a problem with my old ipod (10 Gig model number:A1019)
I can work with my ipod, but when i plug in the firewire cable, itunes does not recognice the ipod. It always says 'no ipod connected'. When i start ipod updater, it takes a VERY long time to recognice in ipod updater, but i can only use the restore function. After that....i stil have the same problem that itunes does not recognice the ipod. I need itunes to ' enable disk use' so i can put music etc on it.

so i sit this out. it 'finishes' and then just says "updating ipod" and looks like something is happening, but it isnt!! i left my computer and went out and came back in the morning and it was still going!
ps. my ipod does not appear on itunes as well

ITunes does not recognize these back up files even though the location is the same as cloud & recently burned music that does show- help! The backup files consist of 34,000+ songs; almost all burned from my own CD collection. I do have most of the songs on an ipod classic but hesitate to try to restore from that. The red outline highlights the media folder and its contents, the various subfolders are only created if that kind of content is in your library. The right-hand side shows the files that should be found in the iTunes library folder; sentinel is normally hidden so may not be visible. The core of your iTunes library is the file iTunes Library.itl, you need to restore this, the other library files and the Album Artwork folder, as well as the media folder, to restore your library.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

I have the new Windows Vista but iTunes does not work good.
And I have to use it, to manage my music on my iPod.
When there will be a Vista compatibles Version of iTunes??
And when will come an 64-Bit Version?

iTunes running under VISTA does not recognize media burned by iTunes Backup (v7.0.2) from a non-Vista machine.
The original machine recognizes the media just fine, but the new VISTA machine does not recognize the dvd at all.

The last failed audio CD burn had error code -128(0xffffff80). It happened on drive D: HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4164B on -128(0xffffff80) media at speed 0X.

Well the report just tells basics of your setup and errors going on in short. Error -128 means either you or iTUnes cancelled the burn before it even started.
Your issue tho is you have no lower filter. you should have 2, and upper filter and a lower filter. Now Im not that good with the filter thing just yet, but I think if you reinstall itunes it will install the lower filter you need.
You will want to remove itunes AND quicktime in the control panel>Add/remove. Dis able any antivirus/security programs so they do not interferr with iTUnes and then download and install the latest iTunes from www.apple.com

When I try to install Itunes 9.2 on my XP 32bit machine, I get the error message "Itunes does not pass windows logo testing to verify CD/DVD rom drives this software will not be installed. Contact your administrator" I am the owner & my account has administrator rights. When I start itunes i get the message "Itunes was not properly installed if you wish to burn Cds you will need to reinstall itunes" Any ideas what i should do anyone?

That sounds like the GEAR drivers that iTunes uses for burning and importing aren't going in properly. (or there's damaged GEAR drivers for an old install stuck on the PC.
Perhaps manually uninstalling and reinstalling the GEAR drivers can get you past this. There's instructions for that on the GEAR wiki:

In your case you can only restore from a backup that has been created with the same iOS version. An iPhone 4 can only run 7.1.2, and, unless your iPhone 5 did not run the same version, you can't use a newer iOS backup of the 5 on the iPhone 4

It sounds like you updated iTunes and now it will not open. Try the steps outlined in the following article. You may need to re install iTunes but your library will remain intact if you do.

There is a hardware problem. Whether it's worth it to you to have no working phone for 2 months until you can update vs paying for replacement/repair now is a question only you can answer.

ITunes does not find my iPhone or iPad on wifi

I am constantly having problems syncing my iPhone or iPad to iTunes. Somedays it works fine and other days iTunes does not even know I have any other devices...... very very very irritating. What can I do to resolve this? I have rebooted all machines. I have synced with a cable.
