Itunes does not sync photos to iPhone in yosemite

2007 iMac with Yosemite 10.2.2 and iTunes 12.1.0.50 does not sync photo's from iPhoto 9.6 (910.29) to iPhone 6 with 8.1.3.
It syncs Apps, movies, ibooks and music. All content can be viewed in respective pane.
However photo's pane shows the grey spinning ball (successor to the beach ball)
after a few minutes get error dialogue can't sync photo;s.
Have same problem with iPod touch 5, iPhone 5, iPhone 6 plus and iPod mini 2. all with os 8.1.3

Hello, have you made sure that you're signed into iTunes and given authorization for your iphone 4 to sync with your computer? The same thing happened to me when I recently installed iTunes 10.5 after formatting my computer.

Itunes 11 not syncing photos to iphone

I am not able to transfer photos from a folder on my Macbook to my ipone 4s.   Here are the steps I followed:
1. the phone is connected via a cable to my computer
2. I selectedPhotos and select the photos button.
3. I selected a folder to sync with my photos in it. '
4, The folder displays the correct number of images in iTunes.
5. I then select sync.
Result:
- iTunes goes through the sync process, however the images do not appear on my iPhone.
Any advise or suggestions you may have are appreciated.

Try to repair your iPhoto library:
Hold down the key combination option-command ⌥⌘ while launching iPhoto and keep the keys firmly pressed, until you are seeing the iPhoto Library First Aid panel. Select "repair database".
This may take a while - let it run.

ITunes does not sync music anymore (iPhone)

I have had the iPhone for 10 months, always worked just fine, but the last firmware update is giving me serious headaches. The last issue is that it syncs everything via iTunes BUT not the music. I get an error message that says some files are not found. The path to the library is intact, I can play any song from my Mac, it is just the sync process that does not recognize things properly. All the settings are correct (sync music tab, etc).
I ran a RESTORE but no luck. Any suggestion? Any way to go back to firmware 2.0 and previous version of iTunes? I never had issues before upgrading both, so not sure which one is causing the problems.

Just updated iPhone 5 to ios7. Now when I plug in, iTunes does not download photos, and iPhone is not showing as a hard drive on my computer. Windows used to have a pop up to download photos, which is no longer there. iTunes is updated and iCloud isoff

I also recently installed Norton 360, but that was eliminated via Norton Help. They remoted in, removed Norton 360 and problem persisted - iPhone did not show on the "Computer" window, and no pop-up to download photos even with no antivirus installed. Norton help advised to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, which seemed a bit excessive. Any other fixes I can try before an uninstall and reinstall?

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

I had a similar issue and I was told that my iTunes match was on.
I had to disable iTunes match on my iPhone.
Following which - after you plugged in your iPhone to iTunes, select your iPhone on iTunes menu. You should see a summary page of your iPhone where it provides options to update or restore. On the bottom there should be an option to select "sync only selected music/playlists". I can't remember the exact wording. Once that's been checked, select your iPhone's music tab and it should allow you to select the music playlists you want to sync.

Hello all. I recently replaced the HD in my MacBook Pro. Just after, I retrieved my old files from the Time Machine backup, which I made just before the replacement. During the first sync of my iPhone via iTunes and while I was trying to sync my contacts I saw the message "iTunes could not sync contacts to iPhone because an error occurred while committing data". After that, I lost my iPhone contacts (I have them only from iCloud). The only problem is contacts, all the others (Calendars, Apps) are normally syncing. Does anybody has a solution? I would use a previous backup (earlier one) to the one you have tried to just do.

Since I downloaded itunes v12.1, itunes will not sync photos from Photoshop 12 to my iphone 5, 6+ and older Apple TV (with hard Drive). Prior to the itunes software update, all was well. itunes indicates "0" photos available from Photoshop when there are over 7,000 photos on my desktop. I tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling - no success. Perhaps itunes v13 may fix the problem, meanwhile , any suggestions.

Be warned though. After synced, successfully, with iTunes 11.1, i ended up with over 10GB's of 'Other' data on my iphone. I had to do a factory reset (From iTunes/iPhone/Summary). It's been a pain in the ***, but it all seems fine now. But it has taken me hours. An di now have a headache.
Also, a factory reset will remove ALL your data, and i mean EVERYTHING! You've spend the rest of the day putting everything back the way you like it, and setting up all your setting again.
