ITunes doesn't send my workout data to nikeplus anymore

Hi,
Did anyone face the same problem? It's really frustrating.
My nano synced to iTunes successfully. I can see the last workout data on Nike+iPod page. But, it doesn't even try to send data to nikeplus.
I did it many times without any trouble. Normally it shows message "Sending data to nikepls.com ..."
Does anybody now how to solve the problem? Sync button does not initiate sending.
I check teh firewall setting, I even turned it off completely, there is no proxy.
Thanks in advance.
regards,
artour.

I think I solve the problem! first of all sorry if i write something wrong but I'm italian secondly i think you have setting you mobile safari preferences on "private connection" or "not accept cookie" that's wrong! this is why you are not allowed to acces whit your acount by your phone! have a nice day!!

  • Itunes doesn't send workout data to Nike Plus

    I have a new sensor and I can't get itunes to send the workout data from it to the nike plus website. I had no problems with my old sensor. I have made sure that the box is checked in itunes to automatically send workout data to Nike Plus, but it doesn't prompt me for my username or anything. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Nike Plus and Apple and no verdict.

    I tried all that before I deleted my 6 music files. Actually, before I did all that, I connected my ipod to another computer that I had not yet added the 6 songs to itunes. I wnated to verify that it wasn't the ipod or the nike+ site. The data did indeed upload. That's when I determined the only difference between the computer and itunes that worked and the one that didn't work was the presence of the 6 songs. After deleting these 6 songs, I was able to upload additional data and access the nike+ site from the "former" non working model.

  • My iTunes doesn't keep track of my listening history anymore. It doesn't update play counts and default "Recently Played" playlist.

    My iTunes doesn't keep track of my listening history anymore. It doesn't update play counts and default "Recently Played" playlist. But it still tracking plays from my iPhone and syncing them.
    I've tried to repair it with setup file. Nothing's changed.
    Can you help me with that?
    NOTE: Now I tried disabling the crossfade feature and it worked, started to count again. But I like crossfade, I don't want to keep it off.

    I think I got this figured out. The playcount does update, but not how the previous iPod models update their playcount. Instead of immediately updating the playcount right after you finish the song like the older iPod models, iPod Touch keeps the updates in memory. The next time you connect to iTunes it'll sync those playcounts in memory to the actual songs itself, effectively updating the playcount of the songs only after connecting to iTunes. I have set my syncing manually. That's why after connecting to iTunes, my playcounts are updated. BUT it doesn't solve the mystery of my Smart Playlist. Even though in iTunes, the correct songs are listed, in the iPod Touch, it shows the old playlist.
    Don't you just hate that? It was working fine before on non-iPod touch models. Now we have to live with this new bug. I just hope when they release software 2.0 it fixes these bugs and that they *give it for free!* People shouldn't be charged on something they should have gotten as a support!

  • Itunes doesn't see all the data on all my albums

    I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or what. I've got about 10GB of MP3's on my computer, when I open them on Windows Media Player or windows explorer I see all the info; album, artist, genre, everything, for all my files. when I add the files to itunes, I only get the info on about half the files, the rest just show the file names, but none of the other info. makes it hard to sort the files out, especially since itunes doesn't give you the option to see the file paths. of course since I didn't import the songs using itunes, it won't get the info from the internet.
    any ideas?

    First off, I would STRONGLY suggest that a external hard drive would make you life much easier by at least being able to back up your songs on the external drive for when you need them. Even if you don't want them in the iTunes library, you can have them all ready on the external to be re-added as needed. You can get 100's of gigs for under $100 shipped.
    Anyway, since you used Yamipod, are all the songs back on the computer? If so, I would go ahead and restore the iPod, let iTunes then resync everything back to the iPod, then switch it back to manual and see if the restore and resync clears up the issue.

  • ITunes doesn't send the verification to iCloud to my correct email

    Why can't I get the email verification email? I check the email assigned to itunes and there is nothing there. I know the email account works because I've sent and recieved from other accounts and it works fine. I can't seem to get the verify email from iCloud to use it.

    Hey danielefrommill valley,
    Thanks for the question. Here is the information on how to authorize your computer to play iTunes Store purchases:
    iTunes 11 for Windows: Authorize a computer to play iTunes Store purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12511
    Authorize a computer to play iTunes Store purchases: Choose Store > Authorize This Computer.
    If you do not see the Store menu you can enable the menubar:
    iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5610
    - To keep the iTunes menus active, change the setting by selecting the Menu icon in the upper-left, and then selecting Show Menu Bar. Alternatively, you can press Control-B.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Your workout data could not be sent...an Internet connection not available

    (Also posted on the nikeplus forum: http://forums.nike.com/message.jspa?messageID=238734#238734)
    I am trying to sync my workout data for the first time on iTunes....so far unsuccessfully.
    I have just one workout in my latest workouts folder.
    When trying to sync the iPod I get the following message:
    "Your workout data could not be sent to nikeplus.com because an Internet connection is not available.
    Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
    There is also no button labeled "Visit nikeplus.com." below the "Automatically send workout data to nikeplus.com" checkbox in the Nike + iPod tab.
    I am running the latest version of iTunes (8.0.2.20) on Windows XP and the latest firmware for my 1st gen iPod Nano (1.3.1). I am using just the basic Nike+ sport kit.
    There is definitely no problem with my Internet connection. I can connect to the iTunes store. I have disabled my firewall to see if that was getting in the way. Nothing changed. Still the same message.
    Does anyone have a solution for this please?

    I contacted Apple support at 1-800-275-2273 for technical assistance. They sent me to level 2 support - product specialist for Ipod Nano with Nike+. They have not seen this issue before and they will need to contact me back, I should have an answer back by Thursday.

  • Server won't accept workout data

    Hi,
    I bought the Nikeplus kit about one month ago and I am unable to upload the data to the nikeplus website. I have the newest generation of iPod nano. I thought maybe iTune was the problem but I downloaded the new version this week and it didn't solve the problem. When I try to upload my workout data to nikeplus, I have an error message saying that the server won't accept the data. I tried changing my Internet browser but it didn't help. I am able to open my nikeplus account but it says that I have 0 runs uploaded. I can also see my runs in iTune but they won't upload. Does someone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix this problem?
    Thanks

    We had to reinstall the software (using cmd-r when booting up) and then reload everything. That fixed it.

  • Nike+ Sensor & Can't automatically send Workout Data

    Hi,
    On my old ipod touch I had it set up to automatically go to Nike and update my workouts.  Now I'm using a new ipod touch and iTunes Help tells me to :
    a) complete a workout -- check
    b) connect my ipod to my computer -- check
    c) when device appears in iTunes select it and click Nike + iPode button -- check
    d) Select "Automatically send workout data to Nike+." -- NOT A CHOICE I CAN MAKE -- I CAN'T FIND THIS CHOICE !!
    Has anyone else had this trouble and what's the solution?
    I am using the latest software on both the computer & iPod and their is an unsynched workout on my ipod touch.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hmmm, sounds weird. If someone else has experienced this maybe they will jump in here, but if not, you can always call Nike+. Surprisingly they answer their phone quite quickly.
    Anyway, here's my shot at it:
    I will assume you have downloaded the Nano updater ( http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ ).
    I would eject and disconnect the Nano (perhaps restarting my computer) and close iTunes, then reopen iTunes, reconnect and see if the box is available.

    "Connect to a computer. Use iTunes to restore."  When I connect to a computer, iTunes doesn't recognise it.  The iPod 5th Gen does not work at all. How do I fix my iPod without losing any data?
    I have seen the Apple webpage suggesting the "five R's" (including restore).  Before doing anything, I want to be sure that restoring or any other action is not going to delete or risk my data.
    I would be very grateful if anyone can suggest a fix for this problem, in a way that will not risk my data.
    Thanks in advance!

    Did you try a hard reset with the iPod still connected to your PC?  Have you tried multiple USB ports, preferably high powered USB 2.0 ports?
    To do a hard reset, first make sure the hold switch is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
    Have you also worked through each and every single troubleshooting suggestion in this Apple support document?

  • Can't send workout data to Nike

    I have a 2nd generation, 4G ipod nano with the sport kit. When I finish a run, I get an error message from iTunes stating that my workout data cannot be sent to Nike. I have a feeling that this is problem lies somewhere in the settings on my computer (Dell/XP with McAfee) but I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to fix this. Ideas?

    I tried all that before I deleted my 6 music files. Actually, before I did all that, I connected my ipod to another computer that I had not yet added the 6 songs to itunes. • Tomcat doesn't send all data while Jetty does

    I am using the following code in a servlet to send data back to a J2ME application:
            data = myResp.serialize();
            response.setStatus(response.SC_OK);
            response.setContentLength(data.length);
            response.setContentType("application/octet-stream");
            OutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
            os.write(data);
            os.flush();
            os.close();
                   .and the following input code on the J2ME side (simplified a bit):
            int len = (int)conn.getLength();
            in = conn.openInputStream();
            _data = new byte[len];
            while (total < len) {
              total += in.read(_data, total, len - total);
                   .Using Jetty as the servlet container, I am able to SEND and RECEIVE data without any problem. Using Tomcat, I usually get a -1 on the CLIENT side when trying to read the data. The CLIENT gets the length from the content header but there doesn't seem to be any data.
    Simply put, what is wrong ? Is there a setting in Tomcat that I should look at ? Why would Jetty work with this code and not Tomcat ? This seems like simple standard stuff.
    Thanks
    =Alan=

    You should never explicitly close the ServletOutputSteam. The J2EE container will do that for you. You can still do the flush, but try it without the close.

    Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
    (If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
    Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
    If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Why can't I send my workouts to nikeplus from Itunes?

    I have a 2nd Gen iPod touch and I am unable to send my workouts to Nikeplus from the iPod as it says 'Unknown Error' when I try and type in my username on the website. Also when I try and upload my workouts from Itunes it says 'Itunes could not connect to Nike+'
    Any ideas on what may be the cause of this?
    Thanks

    I did already update it, alas with no results at first, but after your answer I decided to use the 'restore' instead the 'update' button. After this I deauthorized and authorized the computer and it helped. Everything is working properly! Thanks.

    I don't know my rescue email and security password.i just added an alternative email address but it doesn't send there....also I just added 25$ on iTunes.please help!

    The reset link will only send reset info to your rescue email address, an alternate email address is not used for account security. If you don't know what your rescue email address is (you won't be able to view/change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.
    Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
    When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down this page to view and/or change your rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
