Itunes doesn't send workout data to Nike Plus

I have a new sensor and I can't get itunes to send the workout data from it to the nike plus website. I had no problems with my old sensor. I have made sure that the box is checked in itunes to automatically send workout data to Nike Plus, but it doesn't prompt me for my username or anything. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Nike Plus and Apple and no verdict.

I tried all that before I deleted my 6 music files. Actually, before I did all that, I connected my ipod to another computer that I had not yet added the 6 songs to itunes. I wnated to verify that it wasn't the ipod or the nike+ site. The data did indeed upload. That's when I determined the only difference between the computer and itunes that worked and the one that didn't work was the presence of the 6 songs. After deleting these 6 songs, I was able to upload additional data and access the nike+ site from the "former" non working model.

  • Can't send workout data to Nike

    I have a 2nd generation, 4G ipod nano with the sport kit. When I finish a run, I get an error message from iTunes stating that my workout data cannot be sent to Nike. I have a feeling that this is problem lies somewhere in the settings on my computer (Dell/XP with McAfee) but I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to fix this. Ideas?

  • Nike+ Sensor & Can't automatically send Workout Data

    Hi,
    On my old ipod touch I had it set up to automatically go to Nike and update my workouts.  Now I'm using a new ipod touch and iTunes Help tells me to :
    a) complete a workout -- check
    b) connect my ipod to my computer -- check
    c) when device appears in iTunes select it and click Nike + iPode button -- check
    d) Select "Automatically send workout data to Nike+." -- NOT A CHOICE I CAN MAKE -- I CAN'T FIND THIS CHOICE !!
    Has anyone else had this trouble and what's the solution?
    I am using the latest software on both the computer & iPod and their is an unsynched workout on my ipod touch.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hmmm, sounds weird. If someone else has experienced this maybe they will jump in here, but if not, you can always call Nike+. Surprisingly they answer their phone quite quickly.
    Anyway, here's my shot at it:
    I will assume you have downloaded the Nano updater ( http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ ).
    I would eject and disconnect the Nano (perhaps restarting my computer) and close iTunes, then reopen iTunes, reconnect and see if the box is available.

  • ITunes doesn't send my workout data to nikeplus anymore

    Hi,
    Did anyone face the same problem? It's really frustrating.
    My nano synced to iTunes successfully. I can see the last workout data on Nike+iPod page. But, it doesn't even try to send data to nikeplus.
    I did it many times without any trouble. Normally it shows message "Sending data to nikepls.com ..."
    Does anybody now how to solve the problem? Sync button does not initiate sending.
    I check teh firewall setting, I even turned it off completely, there is no proxy.
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    artour.

    I think I solve the problem! first of all sorry if i write something wrong but I'm italian secondly i think you have setting you mobile safari preferences on "private connection" or "not accept cookie" that's wrong! this is why you are not allowed to acces whit your acount by your phone! have a nice day!!

    i dont think its your system nor is it the itunes software but simply the nike + website not working at the time you tried uploading your run data. but to be sure make sure your oprtion to automatically send the info to the website is checked thru itunes.

  • How do i resend workout data to Nike?

    I have an Ipod mini, 7th generation, with Itunes version 10.7
    I am having trouble synching my workouts from my ipod to nike+, i am only able to get them to upload some of the time and therefore have a large gap in my Nike+ profile of rus that i have actually done. I can still see the runs on my Ipod and the data also shows up in the Nike+ screen, but i cant get them to sync over to the actual Nike website, is there a way to resend this data?
    Audrey

    That didnt apper to help, although what i think has happened is my ipod and itunes think the data was sent but Nike+ never recieved it. But i can still see the workouts on my ipod, just not in nike+

  • Tomcat doesn't send all data while Jetty does

    I am using the following code in a servlet to send data back to a J2ME application:
            data = myResp.serialize();
            response.setStatus(response.SC_OK);
            response.setContentLength(data.length);
            response.setContentType("application/octet-stream");
            OutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
            os.write(data);
            os.flush();
            os.close();
                   .and the following input code on the J2ME side (simplified a bit):
            int len = (int)conn.getLength();
            in = conn.openInputStream();
            _data = new byte[len];
            while (total < len) {
              total += in.read(_data, total, len - total);
                   .Using Jetty as the servlet container, I am able to SEND and RECEIVE data without any problem. Using Tomcat, I usually get a -1 on the CLIENT side when trying to read the data. The CLIENT gets the length from the content header but there doesn't seem to be any data.
    Simply put, what is wrong ? Is there a setting in Tomcat that I should look at ? Why would Jetty work with this code and not Tomcat ? This seems like simple standard stuff.
    Thanks
    =Alan=

    You should never explicitly close the ServletOutputSteam. The J2EE container will do that for you. You can still do the flush, but try it without the close.

  • ITunes doesn't update the data anymore

    Hey,
    I've got a little problem with my iTunes as the topic states. After synchronizing, the data like for example "last heard" aren't updated. For this reason I restored both iPod Video and iTunes..then I tried it one more time and the data were updated. However, the problem occured once again now..and I don't know what to do.
    There's also another problem: It's not possible for me to deactivate the iPod in iTunes. It appears a message which says something like "Couldn't close the link to the iPod since it includes data which are used by another program". o.o
    Sounds strange for me..that's why I have to pull the USB-cable out of the iPod even though the display says the WHOLE time (even after synchronizing!) that I should not detach the cable...
    So..can someone please help me?

  • DIAdem dac combined with NI PCIe 6259 doesn't send out data

    Hi,
    I have a NI PCIe 6259 card & DIAdem 11.2.0 (2010 version) on a windows 7 PC.
    Analog inputs & analog + digital outputs are configurated in MAX 9.8.0f0. (Global virtual channels)
    When I run a dac, analog inputs works perfect.
    Both analog and digital outputs doesn't work. Only one of the four analog outputs give out the value which was send out.
    In the past I had the same problems with this DIAdem version in combination with a thirth party USB card, but this was solved by new firmware & software drivers.
    Someone who had similar problems?
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello,
    I Tried the testpanel. Both analog and digital outputs works correctly.
    I have no experience with labview. So this card isn't tested with labview.
    One time the digital outputs works with DIAdem, mostly it didn't work. Analog outputs are OK.
    GfsDAQ driver version is 11.2.0.
    I suppose that this has caused by driver problems.

  • ITunes doesn't send the verification to iCloud to my correct email

    Why can't I get the email verification email? I check the email assigned to itunes and there is nothing there. I know the email account works because I've sent and recieved from other accounts and it works fine. I can't seem to get the verify email from iCloud to use it.

    Hey danielefrommill valley,
    Thanks for the question. Here is the information on how to authorize your computer to play iTunes Store purchases:
    iTunes 11 for Windows: Authorize a computer to play iTunes Store purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12511
    Authorize a computer to play iTunes Store purchases: Choose Store > Authorize This Computer.
    If you do not see the Store menu you can enable the menubar:
    iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5610
    - To keep the iTunes menus active, change the setting by selecting the Menu icon in the upper-left, and then selecting Show Menu Bar. Alternatively, you can press Control-B.
    Thanks,

  • Ipod nano and nike plus

    I just purchased an Ipod Nano 6th gen. the manual says:   Upload your steps or workout information to Nike+: 1 Connect iPod nano to your computer and open iTunes. 2 Click Send in the dialog that appears, and then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your Nike+ account. Once you set up your account, a Nike + iPod tab appears in the iTunes window. 3 Click the Nike + iPod tab, and then select “Automatically send workout data to Nike+” if it isn’t selected already. 4 Click Apply. To view and share your information on the Nike website, click Visit Nike+ in the Nike + iPod pane when iPod nano is connected to your computer, or go to www.nikeplus.com and log in to your account.  i have connected it many times and have never seen this "send" prompt. what gives?

    I don't know if you answered your question?
    It seem’s I have the same problem. I am not able to see the data collected on my Nano 6th on the nikeplus website (no graph, nothing).
    Visiting the Nano6 Nike guide, you can read :
    (http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/support/#answers/detail/a_id/23904/p/3169,3171)
    “Walk
    Select Walk if you would like to track your steps all day and complete a Daily Step Goal. Step information will also be sent through iTunes to Nike+ Active (will open in a new window), where you can conquer the world.”
    If you follow the  Nike+ Active hyperlink you fell on the following paragraph:
    (http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/active)
    “Nike+ Active is taking a break.
    The site will be down while we move to the new Nike+. Your steps, runs and gym workouts are safe and sound. When Nike+ Active returns this fall, your data will be there -- on a platform that lets you do more than ever before. Thanks for conquering the world with us, and, in the meantime,check out the new Nike+.”
    So, for the Nano6, is this site really not working before a date in autumn, probably 2012?
    Is there no synchro mistake on our side?
    Is this only the case for the nano6?

  • Itunes Syncs and links to Nike Plus, but no data upload?

    I connect to itunes, it never asked me for my nike plus credentials, but then it stated it was syncing to nike plus, asked if I wanted to visit, i followed, when i logged in... nothing. Tried 4 times, all new work outs. none show up.
    Ideas?

    Hey there,
    Have you had a chance to check out this Apple support document relating to this issue? If not, check it out. Hope it helps.

  • Your workout data could not be sent...an Internet connection not available

    (Also posted on the nikeplus forum: http://forums.nike.com/message.jspa?messageID=238734#238734)
    I am trying to sync my workout data for the first time on iTunes....so far unsuccessfully.
    I have just one workout in my latest workouts folder.
    When trying to sync the iPod I get the following message:
    "Your workout data could not be sent to nikeplus.com because an Internet connection is not available.
    Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
    There is also no button labeled "Visit nikeplus.com." below the "Automatically send workout data to nikeplus.com" checkbox in the Nike + iPod tab.
    I am running the latest version of iTunes (8.0.2.20) on Windows XP and the latest firmware for my 1st gen iPod Nano (1.3.1). I am using just the basic Nike+ sport kit.
    There is definitely no problem with my Internet connection. I can connect to the iTunes store. I have disabled my firewall to see if that was getting in the way. Nothing changed. Still the same message.
    Does anyone have a solution for this please?

    I contacted Apple support at 1-800-275-2273 for technical assistance. They sent me to level 2 support - product specialist for Ipod Nano with Nike+. They have not seen this issue before and they will need to contact me back, I should have an answer back by Thursday.
