Itunes doesnt recognize Disc Burner

Before the upgrade to 7.2 my itunes had no issues what so ever with burning CD's. But now that I moved from 7.1 to 7.2 I have been unable to get itunes to recognize my hardware. Running Vista Home Premium and using a 16x dvd +/- rw.

Are you using a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Vista?
If it's a 64-bit Vista, in iTunes go "help > run diagnostics". Select DVD/CD diagnostics. in the diagnostics, are there 2380 error code numbers showing up next to your CD/DVD drives?

When did you upgrade to 4.1? 4.1 is no longer signed by Apple. It's no longer possible to (legitimately) install 4.1.

Trying to activate a second iphone and itunes doesnt recognize

I am trying to activate a second iphone, and itunes doesnt recognize that it is plugged in. This is also the case with my other iphone and my itouch. Tried restarting everything and also tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling it, nothing has worked. Is there a way to fix this or another way to activate the phone?

Try activating it on a different computer, and using a different dock connector to USB cable if possible.
If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem. Take it to your Apple Store for testing.

I tried several times to connect my AppleTV with my laptop but it doesnt work. My iTunes doesnt recognize my AppleTV. My network work fine. I can play trailer on my appleTV. When I use the laptop of my GF the appleTV is recognize in iTunes(7.6.1.9). I have the same version of iTunes in my laptop(7.6.1.9) but with my laptop it doesnt work!! I tried like 3 times to uninstall and reinstall iTunes but with no success. What I need to do to make it work with MY laptop. I made a little video to us to understand the problem.

Can your girlfriends computer see your itunes over the network, will hers stream music from yours?
Can your itunes see the internet and visit the store?
Check your iTunes prefs to see it it is set to look for appletv's
If iTunes cant see the internet or your girlfriends itunes it may be a firewall issue

ITunes cannot find disc burner or software

I quit burning a playlist one song in, now the CD won't eject from my computer and iTunes tells me "disc burner or software not found". ***???

Reboot, manually eject the CD, repair permissions and see if it works. Generally on all macs interrupting CD or DVD burns and even in other applications, like Toast causes all manner of confusion. Let it finish next time even if you change your mind since the CD is ruined anyway.
