Itunes - Downloading earlier bought songs
My problem is that I have bought this new MacBook Air and now i can't download songs I have bought earlier. When i go to reclaim them in Itunes i only see Films, Apps and Books and not Music. I hope you can help. Magnus

Cant re download old bought songs? i downloaded about 10 songs on my Iphone thru Itunes app and now i want them on my pc, when i go into Purchased on Pc Itunes no songs appear.
That doesn't make any sense, since ITMS explicitly
allows each song to be played on 5 different
computers. Each computer needs to be authorized to
play each song, but it's still possible. If you had
to pay for each computer you wanted to play the song
on, this authorization process wouldn't be possible
for sure.

I had trouble with a iTunes download. Two songs of an album were not complete. I contacted iTunes and they redownloaded the tunes. My iTunes now has the complete copies. The trouble is my iPhone will not accept/sync the complete copies. It will only play the original incomplete copies of these songs. I've made new playlists and made sure I had the correct items checked to backup/sync. Still only the incomplete copies are played via the iPhone. What's up? What can I do to get to the iPhone to sync the correct version?
- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

had my laptop stolen which had the downloaded songs that I had bought from itunes... is there anyway for me to re-download the songs I have previously bought onto my new laptop?!
If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and in the circumstances you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. How do I download a bought song which did not download completely?
I recently purchased an album and one of the songs has not downloaded completely but if i look at purchased items on iTunes it is there as downloaded but not available to download again to complete the purchase. Any advice?

Can't stop iTunes downloading content bought on another computer
This is driving me crazy. I have a Mac mini and a rMBP. Both are logged into iTunes using the same Apple ID.
I buy music, films, etc, on the Mac mini. The theory is that I download these to my Mac mini, but I don't need them on my rMBP, so I have my rMBP iTunes set with all automatic downloads OFF.
But every single time I open iTunes on my rMBP, it starts downloading a 4GB film, which I bought on my Mac mini. I pause it. I remove it from downloads. Next time, same thing happens.
I have very limited (and slow) internet bandwidth, so this is a problem.
Am I missing some setting?If I open iTunes, the film appears in my downloads window, and starts downloading. I can pause and remove it, so my downloads window is empty.
If I then go Store > Check for available downloads, iTunes connects to the store (I have to enter my password), and then the film appears in my downloads window and starts downloading.
All of this occurs while the film is sitting happily in My Movies - I haven't moved the file at all, it's in /users/XYZ/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Movies/. iTunes will play the file with no problem.
If I view My Movies as a list, the movie shows up... and then immediately underneath it it shows up again, but greyed out - this is the file that is downloading. If I click back into downloads and delete the file, that removes the greyed-out listing.
But then it'll start up again when I relaunch iTunes. -
I bought songs on my laptop which synced to my iphone and iPad. But I can't find them on itunes library on my home computer. However, when I click download for the same song it says it has already been purchased. How do I find it on home computer?
Is your "home computer" the same as your laptop or are these two different machines?

I got an iPod touch today. I bought songs from the itunes store but, i had alot of songs on my old ipod. So is it possible to download those songs onto my new iPod?
Yes .Just add the songs to the iTunes library you use for the iPod touch and sync them.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

The last few times i bought songs from itunes the artwork didnt download with the songs. Is there anyway to get the artwork now?
