ITunes downloads corrupt version of songs I download on my iPhone.

Any file I download through my iPhone redownloads on iTunes as a corrupt file.
Example:
I bought a Jessie J song on my Phone it plays fine.
I started iTunes at a later time and it saw I had an avalible download of the song.
It downloads the corrupt file that will play for 30 seconds then skip to the next song.
I right click for it to show the file in Explorer and takes me to the path: C:\Users\(Username)\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\Domino _ Domino - Single _ Jessie J.tmp then the corrupt file is in that folder as "download"
I thought if I moved that file to my desktop I could redownload it by "Check for Avalible downloads" or by transfering purchases manually from my phone. Both to no avail.
How can I fix this?
Will every song I buy on my iPhone be redownload on iTunes as corrupt?

I have hundreds of songs that reside on my iPhone 4.  When I upgraded to an iPhone 5S, only 75 songs loaded (those bought from iTunes).  What happened to the rest of my songs which all came fro  CDs I had purchased and downloaded to my phone???
They are still in iTunes on your computer..
unless you deleted them.
When I upgraded to an iPhone 5S,
When you first started up your iPhone 5S, did you Restore from backup and select the iPhone 4 backup?
This will put all the info that was on the iPhone 4, onto the iPhone 5S.

Download a free app and try again, you can delete the free app afterward.

You have posted your issue in Using Apple Support Communities whose topic is 'How to use this forum software's interface, features and/or how to find what you wish'. It is a relatively low traffic and inappropriate forum for your problem. I will ask our Hosts to move it to Using IiPhone where it may get a more rapid response from your fellow users.

  • I have a album purchased on itunes downloaded to my iphone that will not play back, what can I do?

I have a album that was purchased from itunes downloaded on my iphone that will not play back, any suggestions?

You can replace the back glass or get a case.  There are many iPhone repair centers... Google for one.  You can also try the Apple store... I've heard they will replace the back for about $30.

  • Lost Iphone and old apps in itune download to new iphone

I have lost my iphone recently. I have purchase a lot of apps in my itune account for the original iphone. Can I syn all my old data in itune and load my purchase in itune to my new iphone ( not yet buy)

Do you mean that I need to buy the apps for my new iPhone if that apps have been transfered and install in my old lost iPhone?
If you bought apps using iTunes on your computer, or you bought them on the iPhone, then transferred them to the computer, they will have copies on your computer. When you sync your new iPhone, iTunes will copy those apps to the new iPhone.
If you had purchased some apps on the old iPhone and did not transfer them to the computer, you can purchase them again. If you use the same iTunes account as the original purchase, you will not be charged again.

  • Tired of paying for Apple's continued failure. Give us option on phone (NOT thru itunes sync) to MANUALLY delete songs from playlists or the iphone altogether.

It happens every time I make iTunes music purchases: entire playlists get wiped out, and all I can sync onto the iPhone 5 is what I just purchased, UNLESS, YET AGAIN, I completely restore it to factory and rewrite everything all over.
    So sad, Apple.
Yes, I have looked thru the forum threads yet again, and found no other working solution.
Yes, I tried backing up the phone 1st but still get stuck with (expletive) I wanted off the phone, and stuff I wanted on there, ISN'T there.
For whatever (insert expletive of choice) reason, it will NOT sync my old playlists.
For whatever (expletive) reason, if I check "manually manage music" under the Summary tab, then go over the music tab, something (expletive of choice)  up in the software decides to uncheck the "Manually manage music" box under the Summary tab, and it just creates a zero-progress loop where I can't sync the old playlists, or even new ones I create, onto the iphone.
Worse, songs I tried to take off of it long ago seem to manifest the (expletive) right back onto the iphone out of nowhere, and unless I completely restore, LIKE I'M DOING AGAIN, there is no working option I have found that removes the song(s) I THOUGHT I GOT RID OF.
PLEASE, Apple, is it asking too much to create a music sync that WORKS CORRECTLY all the time?
It is ONLY ever the music that does this.
App syncing, photo syncing, all of that functions properly each and every time.
And yet, oh look, it won't accept any playlists off my AUTHORIZED computer.
GIVE US THE SIMPLE option on the next iPhone update so we can manually remove/delete unwanted songs from playlists on the iphone, or from the iphone altogether, WITHOUT needing to connect it to a computer thru a faulty iTunes software that obviously consistently fails to properly sync the correct music on and take off what we don't want.
This is the final time I'm making the mistake of iTunes Store purchases until a sensible fix is implemented that addresses this fail sync issue.
Again, WHY is it ONLY and only ever the music syncing that (expletive of choice to get the point across) fails, yet apps and photos and mail & phone contacts sync correctly every time?
Yes, I read in the forum threads and customer support responses what needs to be checked and/or unchecked, yet all too often some software fail decides to revert those selections right back to where they were if I click another tab and come back to it (no, it's not an administrator thing, I am the only authorized user on the computers in question).
I'm tired of the hassle of having to redo my music library all over again, restore the phone, and hope that once more it will have the correct songs I told it to sync and NOT have a bunch of crap I never checked for it to have on there in the first place.
    FIX THIS PLEASE.

    You're welcome.

  • ITunes Downloading Issue for iPhone Update 4.3

    Hey,
I have an iPhone 4, and I'm running a MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. For the past three hours, I've been trying to update my iPhone 4 to 4.3, and halfway through each update, iTunes disconnects the download, and I try to resume the download, but it won't pick up from the original point. It just restarts the download rather than resume. I have a pretty mediocre connection as it stands, but I can get this downloaded in a timely manner. I'm just wondering why it won't resume and restarts instead more than anything.
    Any answers are much appreciated!

    Hi,
I have a pretty mediocre connection as it stands
Not sure exactly what you mean by mediocre but once the connection is dropped then the download has to start from scratch.
Try restarting your iPhone and your Mac. Then try updating to 4.3
It may not be your connection but your MacBook (Pro?) unless you were able to resolve the kernel panic issue here: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11001688#11001688

  • HT4528 How do I eliminate the iTunes download from my iPhone 5. I never wanted it.

Hello! Today I downloaded a program from Apple. I did not know what it would be. It appasrently was related to iTunes. I never use iTunes because I work well over 60 hours a week. I have no time for listening. iTunes has stopped everything on my iPhone. It is now useless because I cannot use my work computer to link to iTunes. I do not think I have it on my home desktop either. How do I get rid of this program which has rendered my phone useless?
I may be forced to buy another phone from another carrier.... How can I fix this so that I have use of my cell phone again? Right now it is useless.

    Hello, James,
I just got the same message I had before, which was a graohic of iTunes with an arrow pointing upward under it with a picture of a plug-in type device.
I have no way I can make use of that as far as I know. Thansk for trying.
I guess I will have to forget about my phone for now. I cannot waste this much time on it. I have to get a lot of work done.
    Best regards.

  • ITunes download issues for iPhone 4s

I cannot get my iphone 4s to update to iTunes 11.1. I have updated iTunes on my PC and still no luck.

You do not update iTunes on the phone in that manner. Besides, iTunes will not need to be updated on the iPhone. Double check your iTunes on the comptuer to ensure that you are using version 11.1. What computer OS are you using? Restart the computer and do a reset on the phone. For the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will restart. If you do have the latest version of iTunes on the computer, it should work then.

  • ITunes Match will not sync songs in a playlist to iPhone

iTunes Match will not sync all songs in a playlist to my iPhone. All songs have iCloud status of matched, uploaded or purchased, and are 128k bitrate or higher. How can I get iTunes match to sync this playlist properly?

I rang applecare with this issue and the way it was resolved was as follows:
To make sure iCloud is up to date:
    1. In iTunes on the computer select "Update iTunes Match" from the Store menu and wait until it finishes.
To refresh the data on the iPhone:
    2. Power the iPhone down and back up again
    3. Settings > iTunes & App Store > iTunes Match > Off
    4. Launch the Music app to verify Match is off
    5. Power the iPhone down and back up again
    6. Settings > iTunes & App Store > iTunes Match > On
    7. Launch the Music app and givit it time to update (probably best done when you have a Wifi connection).
    Hope this helps

Restore your library from a recent / current backup.  If you've failed to maintain a backup of data you obviously regard as valuable, see turingtest2's user tip on Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.

If your iMac has a PowerPC processor, Leopard OS 10.5.x is the max OS. If your iMac has an Intel processor, it can run Snow Leopard OS 10.6.x or possibly higher.
Once we know your iMac model, we can better recommend what OS X version.
