ITunes Downloads Wont Burn

I installed iTunes 7 after re-installing Windows (because I couldn't get the MS Installer to work), and now iTunes will not let me burn songs that I've downloaded from the iTunes Store. I authorized my computer and everything...but nothing gives.

  • Itunes 7 wont burn cd's

I recently downloaded the new version of itunes, what a pain that was. I went to burn a cd for the first time with the new software and when I set up the new playlist and press the burn cd button at the bottom right the cd tray keeps sliding out. I have a brand new bundle of cd's. Anyone have any idea's?

What error message/code does itunes give when you hit burn and the CD tray comes out? Have you tried going to the PC makers site and installing Firmware updates to your CD ROM or its software?
Goto Help>Diagnostics>CD Diagnostics and copy/paste the WHOLE report here so we can help you better

  • ITunes 7 wont burn purchased music

Since I upgraded to iTunes 7, all the music I purchased from the iTunes store will not burn to CD.
I haven't exceeded any DRM requirements and have authorized my computer for the specific PC since I had to reload Windows to get iTunes 7 to work. Heres my burner config:

  • Itunes downloads wont play in car

i have tried to download music on a usb to play in my 2009 chevy. will not play. computer shows the music is on usb. is car too old to play the downloads or can i do something to get music to play??  thanks for any help stew

    Stew,  there are 2 possibilities:
If you bought those tracks prior to mid-2009, they are probably DRM-protected, and will not play in any non-Apple device.
If you bought them more recently, they are in AAC format.  That is Apple's favorite audio format, but it is frequently rejected by non-Apple players.  Fortunately, you can use iTunes to convert AAC into standard MP3 format, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format
MP3 plays in just about anything.

  • ITunes download wont complete

My iTunes wasn't responding when trying to open the program. My quick solution was to uninstall iTunes then download the newest version and reinstall it. When i try to reinstall iTunes, i get to a part where the status says: copying new files, when the status changes to rolling back and a dialouge box appears and says iTunes was unable to configure at this time. Please try again later. After several attempts, the same outcome has happened. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: The message reads: The installer encountered problems before iTunes could be configured.
Your system has not been modified. To retry these operations at a later time, please run the installer again.

Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod?   If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G.  If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

  • Itunes store wont open and let me download music

my itunes store wont open it says im not connected to the internet which is false for im on it now typing this
    hELP

If a solution is found I hope someone posts it soon.  I have followed everything iTunes has asked for: new account, new pass, new info, and finally upgrade to iTunes 10.  After attempting to Download 10. I was told that my iBook did not meet the system specs.  I had looked earlier and found no sys specs, so I presumed it would download.  I was wrong.  After going through all of that I still cannot access the store.  I had none of this problem a mere 2 weeks ago.  So somebody please post a reasonable solution.
    thanks,
    Pb

  • I can't burn a disc from iTunes download....error 2131

error message 2131 stops me from burning a disc from my recent iTunes download.  How can I get around this or fix this ......Windows XP.

The 2131 is usually related to out-of-date firmware on certain types of DVD/CD drives. But we'd better doublecheck that.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
    ... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

i just downloaded the new update for itunes and the itunes store wont open up it is taking a long time it still hasnt loaded since 5pm, i also cant sighn in either it just keeps on saying accessing itunes....

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -

    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.

  • I downloaded Quicktime but iTunes still wont open

I accidentally removed Quicktime from my programs list because I didn't know that I needed it to run iTunes. so I went online and downloaded it and iTunes still wont open. Saying that: "Quicktime was not found!" and "Please reinstall iTunes" so I re-downloaded iTunes and I'm still getting the same message.
How do I get QuickTime back on my programs list?
Is re-downloading QuickTime a wast of time?
    What am I doing wrong?
I can sit here and download it all day its not going to change anything?

If you just deleted QT from C:\Program Files you may be able to restore it from the Recycle Bin. If you used the add/remove control panel, you probably want to use it again. And then download a new iTunes QT installer

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
