Itunes encounters an error and closes when I try to sync pictures

When I try to sync pictures to my itouch itunes encounters an error and shuts down. I have the itouch attached to the computer and my settings are to get pictures from file folder. I have done all the updates and have searched the support discussions for some ideas, but have had no lock. All the software is current. Any help would be greatly appriecated.

That would be an unusual error message to be getting if you were having a problem with a photo cache ... but just in case ...
Try deleting your iTunes photo cache, as per the following document:
Photo Sync creates iPod photo Cache
... can you get a photo sync to go through without the crash after that?

I just bought a brand new laptop and installed a fresh brand new itunes onto it, but every time I try to add my music, it encounters an error and closes. I uninstalled it, restarted the computer and reinstalled and everything, and it happens every time. Thanks for the info, anyway i just tried all of the options it gave me and its no good. It seems to be only in my account, since I could sync it in my sisters account. Try syncing songs one at a time to see if there is a problem song(s).
Do the songs play in iTunes on the computer?

My iTunes shuts down at step 5 when I try to sync my new iPhone 6. When I sync my iPhone 5 it has no problem at all. I reinstalled iTunes and it is still doing the same thing. My iPhone 6 is new out of the box today. iTunes is fine as long as I don't sync the iPhone 6. All my apps are current. Any suggestions?

When i try to sync my ipod touch up to my computer, the ipod syncs but i cannot get music off of my itunes account onto my ipod.

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone/iPad but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone/iPad with it.

Yes.
If you copied everything from your old computer to your new one, as you should always do, then the content will be put right back when you sync.
