ITunes entry disappears when I move the cursor - up to 3 times

A small but nevertheless annoying problem - very often an entry typed into iTunes e.g. Album or Genre will disappear when I move the cursor. This will happen up to three times in a row. Then the iTunes software accepts the change. Anyone else having this experience? Thanks, Adrian OS 10.7.5 ITunes 11.0.1

Hello mine also same problem.
It is irritating a lot form past few days.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the adobe reader but no use.
I am using Windows 7 and adobe version 11.0.09
Kindly help in this regard.

I think the data in the PDF file was filled-in using MAC preview.
One option is to ask the user to fill the file again using Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

One enters and exits full-screen with control+command+F keys. This is on the View menu in Safari. Optionally, the green traffic light in your browser title bar, if you roll over it, has the full-screen control it it. While in full-screen mode with Safari, moving your mouse pointer virtually up, and off-screen reveals the Safari title bar again, and you can click the green traffic light to exit full-screen mode.
You can hide/show the status bar by simply typing command+/. This too, is on the Safari View menu. and in 10.10.1 — it works reliably for me.

When I move the cursor over sidebar items they toggle becoming underlined?

When I move the cursor over sidebar bookmarks lines, it toggles underline on or off. Very annoying. Happens in Firefox 3.6, too.

You can try to disable some layers and gfx preference settings on the about:config page to see if that helps.

Desktop icons change size when I move the cursor

Intermittently, when I move the cursor with my trackpad, the desktop icons change size—minimize going from 44 to 16 icon size. This happens with the Finder in the foreground or background.
I think there's a fix, but I cannot find it.

Something I have inadvertently done has removed the menu bar, the toolbars. The screen 'rolls' down when I move the cursor to the top of the screen otherwise it is in full screen all the time.

I was working on an email last night and must have set something on which I do not want. When I state firefox, it comes up full screen but without any menu or toolbars. Even when I move the cursor to the top of the scrren to reveal what is there, there still is no menu or toolbars showing.

If you run Firefox in full screen mode then press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle (Mac: command+Shift+F).

If Dashboard seems to be launching automatically when you move your mouse to the left, first check to see if a "Hot Corner" has been set.
Hot Corners
To specify an action to perform when you move the pointer to a screen corner, choose the action from one of the Active Screen Corners pop-up menus.
After you set an active corner, move your mouse to that corner of your screen to see the result.
You can find the Active Screen Corners menu by going to System Preferences, then choosing Mission Control and clicking the Hot Corners button in the bottom left.

Lately in Acrobat Pro Ver 9 for Win 7 the menu bar (File, Edit, View, Document etc) disappears when I move the window . . only happens when I have a pdf file open . . everything worked fine until a few days ago . . F9 fixes the problem until I move the window again . . I realize my version is old so I tried tried downloading XI reader and having the same issue . . any help would be appreciated

Check if you have multiple Java versions installed on your computer.

Also i would suggest uninstall security software and install it back.
Currently you may use F9 key to restore Menu bar.

When I move the cursor, sometimes the whole screen moves. I need to disable this. Suggestions?

Sounds like you have zoomed in. Can you see the clock and battery at top?

Dock won't auto open when I move the cursor there anymore!

All of a sudden, for what seems like no reason at all, my dock no longer opens when I put the cursor over on the side. I tried putting the dock on the right and it still doesn't work. I now have to have the "Automatically show or hide the dock" box unchecked, and the visible dock on my desktop all the time, because of this. What has happened and how can I fix this? I made no changes to cause this, that I can tell, it has just stopped working.

Glad to know that worked! Move the old, corrupted .plist preferences file to the Trash and empty it.
Prefernces files are read and written a lot, and it's not unknown for the .plist files to become corrupted in th eprocess. Any time a program suddenly starts to act strange or can't seem to remember the settings you give it, moving the program's preference file out of ~/Library/ Preferences will force the program to create a new default set of preferences.
You may want to download Preferential Treatment and run it occasionally to see if it reports any other prefs as being corrupted. (Note that Preferential Treatment will flag system level prefs if you run it while logged on as a non-sdministrative user; any such warning can be ignored.)

There are 2 Fullscreen modes for some games. And some games only use 1 of them. The usual Fullscreen that you'd expect, and the one we call "Borderless Window".
The classic Fullscreen utilizes all your display and things like menu bar, OSD's, "Always On Top" windows won't pop up while you are playing. But the Borderless Window is just a window that has the same resolution and dimensions with your desktop, and has no borders. Other elements like menu bars, OSD's and "Always stay on top" windows can get into your way while playing. And it's also slower than the classic fullscreen.
Check if your game offers any option of selecting between these 2 Fullscreen Modes, and select the classic fullscreen mode.

This sometimes makes my forefox 'go back one page'.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
