Itunes Error 3259 for ipad update

My ipad 2 wants to upgrade the software but after downloading the full 607mb file it them says timed out with the error 3259. I will had to wait till next month now to download as have reached limit. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. Thanks

Disabling the computer's security software during the download/update susually solve the problem.

Do any fellow iTunes U administrators know anything about this? How is existing content presented in the new app? Would we need to change anything? How do we access / make available the new features?
The new features sound fantastic but it would have been nice to have some warning. I appreciate that Apple has to keep specific details about developments confidential but it's slightly disconcerting that iTunes U administrators were not forewarned about this new development and that there has been no mention of it on this forum. Also - and at the risk of sounding like a broken record - it really would be helpful for iTunes U administrators to have a private forum (perhaps an add-on to Public Site Manager) where we could discuss issues and share ideas and best practice etc.

The Mac App Store has apps for Mac computers. The iTunes Store does not. You must be running 10.6.8 or later to access the App Store. The App Store is on your computer in the Applications folder and on the Dock.

Close Apps
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.
3. The app will fly off the screen

IPad and iTunes cannot check for iOS updates. And iTunes cannot restore the iPad to 6.1.2.

I have iPad 4G 32GB A1460. NO JAILBREAK EVER. Recently I installed iOS 7 Beta 3 on it. And now when I go to Settings -> General -> Software Update I get the error message "Unable to Check for Update. An error occurred while checking for a software update." And that's all. No useful information actually.
I have tried to reboot the device but no luck. I have also tried to connect it to a PC and check for updates from iTunes. iTunes shows me a little different error message: "iTunes could not check for an update to the carrier settings for your iPad. An unknown error occurred (1651). Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." I checked the connection just in case and was convinced that the Internet connection is active. Does anyone know what's happening? I really don't like this.
OK, maybe the next iOS version isn't out yet. But what will happen if it is? Will I be forced to use 7.0 Beta 3 forever? I don't want to))
Another thing that I've tried to do is to restore my iPad to iOS 6.1.2. But the iTunes shows another error: "The iPad "<iPad name>" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194)." I tried this on Windows and Mac. On Mac I have a different message: "This device isn't eligible for the requested build" which seems to be the same thing as 3194-error on Windows.
Can anyone help me? Is there a reasonable explanation of this? Is this related to Apple's developers web site unavailability (http://devimages.apple.com/maintenance/)?

I have an iPhone 6, my MacBook's software is current and updated, and when I tried to run the 8.3 software update on my iPhone it prompted me with a black screen, iTunes logo, and the power cord. I plugged my device into the laptop's USB and have it connected to a power source and is on my wifi. The iTunes "update" says it will take 27 hours and is continually stopping every 20 minutes or so giving me error code 1671. I click through all the prompts and it picks up where it left off. I too can not use my phone and am hoping there is a quicker way to update. Anyone else having this issue?

after updating iPad 2 it stucked... Nothing is working: hard reset does not work, changing ports do not work, turning off AV, firewall - doesnt work....Nothing.

Error 3259 and ipad 2 restore

I have an ipad 2 and the current version of itunes. All of this happened yesterday after I tried to update to the newest IOS.
The ipad screen shows the connect to itunes screen. When connected to itunes it wants to restore but wants to restore with update. Every time I run update it runs about 1/2 way and then goes to error 3259.
The itunes screen on the computer shows the ipad as n/a serial number and from the itunes menu I cannot restore it at all. The ipad hasn't been hacked and ran perfectly before I started the update yesterday morning.
Help?!?!?

ITunes error 3259 when trying to use home share

I have windows 7 and have norton antivirus installed. I have tried turing off the antivirus still that did not help. I can access the the store and everything else works except when I try to set up the home sharing I keep getting error 3259.

I received a notice for software update. It froze in process. I forced quited the iPad. It will not start. I see the apple and then it goes away. Latest thing is a round iTunes with a plug symbol below it. It's plugged it and nothing.

When I do that it says it will wipe my iPad clean and start over leaving me with nothing.

ITunes Error 3194 for my iPod Touch?

So I repeatedly tried to update my 4th Gen iPod to iOS 5 to no avail so I started searching ways to do it because every time I tried to update I would get iTunes Error 3194 "iPod could not be restored". I put my device into DFU mode like the guide suggested and then tried to hit restore on iTunes to automatically update it, however, it keeps giving me the same error! Now my iPod won't do anything and I have no idea how do fix it. I do have the latest verison of iTunes Advice? Thanks

Error 3194: Resolve error 3194 by updating to the latest version of iTunes. "This device is not eligible for the requested build" in the updater logs confirms this is the root of the issue. For more Error 3194 steps see: This device is not eligible for the requested build above.

first things first, I have read this article: Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store - Apple Support I am NOT running windows or any of the other programs listed. this article did not help my problem. so please don't tell me to read it....
okay, so the problem: I'm trying to restore my iphone 5c because I have a lot of "other" on my iphone's storage... and it also needs the software update.
I get the error 3259. r
estarted both iphone and macbook air. (ejected iphone from macbook air as well.)
disconnected and re connected the wifi on both devices.
could this be related to my massive amount of "other" files in my macbook air??? question asked about it on here: mysteriousdisk space, gibberish files?
should I just wipe my whole computer and iphone or what? this is a nightmare.

All of your messages, whether they be text, image, audio, video, are all part of "Other." My daughter had 6 GB of them.
