Itunes Error -50. Please help!
Hello,
I just recently bought the iPhone 4, and I was planing on bringing it home and putting my entire music library onto it. i placed the sync and went to bed (the camping was taking its toll on me). when I woke up, i checked itunes and one song could not be sync due to an error -50. does anyone know how to solve this? please reply.

This happened to me too. The secret was: it's already opened. But the application is not responding. I right-mouse clicked the icon on my dock and Force Quit it. Reopened it and done. -

My wife is trying to download podcasts from her iPhone 5s to her Macbook ver. 10.6.8 ... but we keep getting this error message from iTunes:
"The iPhone 'Virginia's iPhone' cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes."
a. She has iPhone5S and has never had to update iTunes on any of her iPhones
b. My wife's Macbook has the latest iTunes version.
Please advise me on this.The album an artist name have to be exaclty the same as in the store for it to work.
Even then it sometimes doesn't work. I don't loose sleep over it, I just get the artwork from Amazon if iTunes artwork doesn't work. -

wifi is wifi, and business hub means very little.. this is area for time capsule discussion.. but the standard measures apply.
1. Set wireless name (SSID) to a name that is short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Eg your Business Hub call wireless BH. There is no need for names longer than that.
2. Set wireless channel for 2.4ghz to 11 or 6 or 1. Please test in that order. In Eurozone you can add 13 or use it instead of 11. They are the only 3 non-overlapping channels.
3. Use no security to test.. of course this is unsafe long term.. so this is to test for a few minutes only.
The only security that should be used with N wireless is WPA2 TKIP-AES .. it can be named several different things ie in Apple routers it is WPA2 personal. Use a passkey of 10-20 characters.. more if you are paranoid, mix of upper and lower case + numerics.. so pure alphanumeric.
4. If it fails set the mode to G wireless. It is more consistent standard.
If it still fails buy an Apple router and use that as WAP. -
When I plug in my Ipod, or my sisters Ipod I get and error message that wont let me plug my ipod come up on itunes.
The error says
" ipod service module has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconenience."
what do i do?!?!?!?Back up to an external harddrive/flash drive and destroy all files associated with iTunes. Redownload and put everything from the backup back intot the library. Or you could look up the problem on the internet; I could be wrong.

I mean, I have no access in downloading Music and Movies etc.What country are you in ? Not all content types are available in all countries (a full list of what is available is here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599). If you are in one of those countries where Apple is not licensed/allowed to sell music or films then you will need to find another download purchase site, or copy your own CDs. The terms of use of the stores also state that you can only use the iTunes Store in the country where you are situated, so you cannot use another country's store

You've managed to permanently damage the phone. As gdgmacguy suggests, buy a new one. Preferably from a legitimate source.
You may also want to keep in mind that it is illegal to use the Gevey SIM in pretty much every country on the planet. It may still be legal on the continent of antarctica, but that's only because penguins don't use cell phones as a rule. -

While YOU may not have attempted to jailbreak the phone, SOMEONE ELSE did. Error 1015 occurs by attempting to restore a previously jailbroken phone.
It's very likely you may NEVER get your phone out of recovery mode and your phone may be rendered permanently bricked.
Terms of Use of this forum prohibit the discussion of jailbroken phones. You'll have to scour the internet for a solution to your problem, if indeed one exists. -

I have a couple of troubleshooting suggestions for you regarding this issue. First, I would suggest that you reinstall iTunes, according to the instructions in this article:

To reinstall iTunes, download it from the Apple Downloads website.

Note that all you will need to do is download iTunes and install it again, it will install over the version that is on your computer right now without issue. If your issue persists, you may want to see this article about troubleshooting third-party plugins for iTunes:

Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

i tried to update my jailbroken iphone 3gs to iOS 6 and i tried to activate it using redsn0w it uploaded but the phone didn't activate, then i tried to restore it in iTunes and it also wasn't working it shows 3194 error. Please help!
