ITunes Error Messages for Windows Vista

Ever since the iTunes 7 came out, iTunes does not work on my computer. It says that it cannot run iTunes because it has detected a problem with my audio configuration. Now, does anyone know how to help me fix this problem?

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

  • Itunes error message on Windows 8 system (PLEASE HELP!!)

I am unable to install itunes on my new HP computer with windows 8? Each time i try and install it an error message pops up ""The windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your personnel for assistance."
I have tryed the most common solution found throughout the community of opening 'regedit' and searching for WOW64 but it does not appear in msiserver.
I have been trying to solve this for a number of weeks but cannot find a solution online, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

turingtest2 i have finally solved the issue thank for the help. As you suggested it was an issue with my windows updates, I believed I was installing all updates but when i looked into the update history section the majority of them where failing. I found this link online which helped to solve my issue.

  • HELP! I downloaded iTunes 10.6 for Windows Vista, and it won't run.

A few months ago I needed to update my iPhone, and before doing so I was prompted to update my iTunes software to the new 10.6. I downloaded the new iTunes, and since then I have not been able to open iTunes. I double click on the icon on my desktop, and a little wheely thing pops up like it is loading and then nothing else happens.
I have Windows Vista Home Basic, 32-bit OS
I have tried uninstalling iTunes and all the other applications that go along with it and downloading iTunes all over again. And when I run iTunes in safemode it works fine, except I can't plug in my phone in safemode.
    Please help!

everytime I try to open it, all my computer does is pretend like it's loading but then does nothing.
Can you check something for me please?
Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
    Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

  • ITunes 10.5 for windows vista 64 bits - error

I've been trying to install itunes 10.5 since december and even after the newer versions were out i've been having the same problem.
    An error occur:
An error occurred during installation of assembly
    'Microsoft.VC80.CRT type="Win32",version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",process
orArchitecture='x86'. Please refer to Help and
Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070002
Then I have to cancel it. Then shows: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127).
I was told to scan the PC, uninstall and reinstall all apple programs, or uninstall from the highest version to the lowest version and reinstall in chronological order.
But no version of itunes 10.5 works. Not even the newest version at: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1427?viewlocale=pt_BR works.
Only the 10.4 version I had before can work, and now my iphone has iOS 5.0 and i cant use my itunes.
    Any new ideas?

Its a Issue with your C++ Library on your computer, a way to fix it is to Rebuild your entire C++ Library from uninstalling the highest version to the lowest verision and reinstalling them back in chronological order..
I would suggest to contact apple support, request a Senior advisor they should be able to get that squared away, now if your not in phone support period you will probably have to pay for support.
I'd suggest the apple care if you havent got it yet

  • Itunes error 54 for windows 8

im using windows 8 and every time i try to sync my phone i get the unknown error 54.... this has been going on for months... i find tons of stuff for people using mac but nothing for those of us using windows.  pls help im just sick of this.
also my art work doesn't match the songs

Read lots of replies to this. I've just tried simply clicked "Turn Off Genius" under the Store menu and it seems to have worked for me. I already had ITunes Match turned off - not sure if that makes a difference.
Not sure if this will work for everyone, but it's worth a go!

  • Downloading iTunes 7.5 for Windows Vista

The installation goes smoothly until after Quicktime has been installed, there is a message that pops up saying "Could not open key: HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickTimePlayerLib.QuickTimePlayerApp\CLSID."
In the support it tells me: "If the issue persists beyond these two steps, there is an issue with one or more keys the QuickTime installer needs to access in the registry. Resolving this issue will require either reinstalling Windows, using a third-party registry utility, or manually editing the registry."
What exactly does "editing the registry" mean?
    How do you do that???

What exactly does "editing the registry" mean?
Let's avoid that question for the time being as it may not be necessary for you to edit the registry.
Does your message include "verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel"?

  • TS1424 Itunes error message on Windows 8:  Itunes has stopped working, then slams off the program!  Help??

I cannot get my new Windows 8 computer to connect to Itunes store!  It shuts off Itunes every time, just saying the program has stopped working
    Any suggestions?

I had this exact same problem.  I found this fix and it worked for me.
    Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
    Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you.  I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.
    Good Luck.
