Itunes error, unable to transfer purchases

I've updated iOS4 and tried to sync my iphone4 to itunes. However, I keep getting an error message telling me that itunes was unable to transfer my purchases from my phone to my itunes account, and that I need to authorise the computer. Although the computer is already authorised, I thought I might have to do it again after upgrading, so I tried to authorise the computer again only to be met with an error message saying I'm already authorised. I now seem to be stuck in a loop of error messages! Please help

have you tried to deauthorize your old computer...because you should be able to by going to store, clicking deauthorize computer, and then putting in the account info from the old computer.
um..find one of the songs that can't be transfered. does it play in itunes? if not, jut reauthorize it with whatever account it's from.
are the songs from limewire in your itunes library??

  • Unable to transfer purchased apps from iphone to window 7

I tried all the solution which been offered from apple support but i still unable to transfer purchased apps from iphone to window 7. Please show me what to do =(

Are you trying to transfer apps to Windows 7 to USE them on Windows 7, or to back up your iPhone? iPhone apps will not run on Windows (OR Mac OS X); they only run on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
To back up your iPhone, connect the phone to your computer using the cable that came with the phone and a USB port directly on the computer, not a hub. Do not sync.
Check the account you have on your iPhone by going to Settings/Store. Make sure you are logged in to this same account on your computer, and that the computer is Authorized to this account (check the Store menu).
Go to the File Menu in iTunes and choose "Transfer Purchases".
If you have a problem with any of these steps please let us know exactly what the problem is.

  • When you Command+Delete an App in iTunes, you can't Transfer Purchases?

When you delete an App from iTunes using right+click and delete option, you have some checkboxes to agree and than your app will be deleted. When you do this, you can Transfer Purchases from your iPhone, and you will get back that app deleted.
But when you Command+Delete an App in iTunes, you can't Transfer Purchases to get back that deleted app. Why is this happening? How can I get back the Apps from my iPhone without re-downloading it from AppStore?
    Thanks

  • Unable to transfer purchases on iPad to itunes

Can't transfer ap purchases on devices to iTunes after re-downloaded iTunes.  After a Lion reinstall(over existing) I could not get iTunes to recognize the data on my MacBook and it asked me to download iTunes again which I did.  Now everything seems ok except this problem.  It seems now anything purchased on my devices will not transfer.
I've tried deauth and reauth the computer and manually transferring them, no help.

Plug your device into the computer; In iTunes right-click on your device name under the Devices listing; Select "Transfer Purchases from..."
You can also re-download all your purchase through the iTunes Store by selecting Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right.

  • ITunes Store unable to process purchases?

I upgraded my MBP and iMac to Lion yesterday morning without any problems. I had updated all apps on both devices before proceeding. I also updated apps on my iPhone4, and iPad2 before doing the Lion install.
The MBP and iMac both work great with Lion. But by mid-morning yesterday, and without change since (i.e. about 23 hours), I have been unable to download new updates to apps on my iPhone4 or iPad2. I have tried to update each via WiFi. I have tried to update the iPhone with WiFi turned off. I have tried to connect by tethering to the MBP (both devices are registered on it) and getting the updates via iTunes.
I have checked and confirmed that I do not have a firewall problem and that the time and location is correctly set for each device.
When I try to download an app update via any of the bove methods, I get a pop-up message saying: The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time." Which is followed by another pop-up saying "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the app store (100)."
Anyone have any idea what is happening? I've scoured the support articles without finding an answer.

    iMac 27 i7, MBP 13" (2008), iPad1, iPad2, iPhone4, some iPods.

Agreed, I don't think it is Lion, either. I suspect the problem is somehow related to the addition of 33 more App Stores (33 countries) and that has somehow borked the system. I now have a growing number of updates to apps on my iPad2 and iPhone that I cannot download. A few of them are important to me. I dare not even check my iPad1 as my wife uses it and would have a serious fit if anything caused problems on it.
More than 30 hours and counting...   All I have seen so far is an auto-mailer message which suggests I try everything I tried yesterday. Not a happy customer. Making it worse, we have Apple computers and iPads in the office, so unless this gets fixed I expect an uproar on Monday.

  • HT1551 when trying to rent a movie from itunes the message says "itunes store unable to process purchases try again later". Is this usual or am I doing something wrong

when trying to rent a movie on my new apple tv, a message comes up: "itunes unable to process purchases at this time. Try again later"  Is this usual or is something going wrong?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you use the Apple TV for something else or turn it off it will erase whatever is on it's drive. If you are going to download content for later viewing you might consider doing it on the computer, downloads don't disappear until they expire and you can watch them as many times as you want.

  • ITUNE Store  "unable to process purchase - please try later"

This should be a simple one...
I have an iTunes account with credit card info stored. I have historically been purchasing music, debited from my account. Today I thought I would buy another song. Attempted to purchase a track and I got the "unable to process purchase. Purchasing system is temporarily unavailable at this time, please try later". Odd. So I check my card details. For some reason it had changed to a Maestro card? I've never had one. The number is right (last 4 digits) but the card type wrong. This may be unrelated but I thought it was odd. Anyway, I have re-edited all of my info and still I am unable to purchase music. BT is my ISP (UK). Main player so should be no fault there. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Mocquery.

  • Ave purchases o my itunes but unable to transfer them to my ipod

I have several recent purchases which have downloaded to my PC. I cannot transfer these to my Ipod classic. It has the latest software checked today. My PC is a 64bit Windows 7 using i7 CPU with 16gb DDR3 and NVidia GTX690 card. Can anyone remind me what I have overlooked in my old age please?

HI Many thanks if anyone came to my aid, but I have now got it working again. The little grey cells take a bit of warm up time these days. Just like the days of valve gramaphones and T.V's.....we all get old I guess.

  • Unable to transfer purchased movie to iPad

I recently purchased "Twilight (2008)" and tried to transfer it to my iPad.  I got an error message that said that it was unable to do so because it is not authorized to be played on my computer.  However it plays fine on my computer and it sync'ed fine w/ my AppleTV.  It is HD/SD and has iTunes extra.  I tried setting the iPad preferences to "prefer SD version" and not include iTunes extras when syncing w/o luck.  I contacted iTunes support and they told me to repurchase and try again so I deleted the original purchase and purchased it again w/o any luck.  This is the only movie where this is happening.  Other movies have sync'ed fine and purchases since this one have also sync'ed fine.  Support told me that I would have to contact Tech Support which would charge me for support which totally bites because this is clearly a problem on their part.  Any ideas from y'all?
By the way, I'm using latest verion of Lion on a new Mac Mini w/ latest iTunes update.  iPad is iPad 1 w/ latest updates.

    *** FIXED ***
Just to update.  After posting the previous message, I was unable to sync any purchased Movies or TV Shows after Nov 15th to my iPad or iPhone.  When I tried to sync, it kept saying that those purchases were not transfered because they were not authorized for my computer (on which I purchased them).  All movies and TV shows purchased prior to Nov 15th would still sync fine.  Music and music videos have had no problems regardless of purchase date.
I suspected that there was something going on w/ iClouds because it was about the time that iClouds was rolled out that things stopped working for me.  I have two apple ID's.  One is for all my iTunes purchases which I've had forever and the other was more recently set up (couple years) for MobileMe.  I'm not sure if iTunes was confused because of this or not.  Things seemed to go wrong about the same time I made the switch over the iCloud using my MobileMe account.  Even though I purchased everything only using the first Apple ID maybe it somehow thought I was trying to sync using the second which had no authorized purchases.
At anyrate, I just got off the phone w/ tech support who figured it out for me.  There is a folder on your main HD under "Users/Shared" called "SC Info".  It is apparently contains configuration data for iTunes.  If you delete that by putting it in the trash then restarting the computer, it should solve this issue.  So the path to that folder is main_HD --> Users --> Shared --> SC Info.  After deleting this folder and rebooting, you will need to re-authorize your computer in iTunes then re-sync your devices and everything should transfer OK.
Hope this helps for anyone else who may be having similar issues.

  • What is itunes error:  "unable to load SyncUICoreLocalized.dll"

After iTunes update 11.1.4.62, why do I get the following error message after sync with iPhone 4s 32GB, and ios 7.0.4:
    "unable to load SyncUICoreLocalized.dll"

    Hello Lambruceco
If you are having an issue syncing with a missing .dll file, then you may need to remove iTunes and it is associated software and then reinstall it.

  • Unable to transfer purchased applications from Iphone 3gs to Computer

As my computer crashed some time ago, I reinstalled the operating system and hence all my applications have disappeared from my itunes. I have already authorised my computer again but when my iphone 3gs is plugged in, I will receive a prompt saying that the purchases could not be transferred as my computer is not authorised. Deauthorising and reauthorising my computer does not work as I have tried that a few times already. This infinite loop is killing me.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

I actually found a solution in another forum. I have two iTunes accounts. I authorized iTunes with my other account and it synced just fine. It's really kind of dumb that I have two accounts. One is simply a user name, the other account is the same user name as my e-mail address. ie: kevinsharp (1st acct.) & [email protected] Every other bit of info in the two accts are the same: cc number, address, secret question, etc.
I really thought I had only one acct but I must have created another setting up my iPad.
    Hope this helps.
