ITunes.exe. not downloading with update
Installed update and now get message, windows cant find c:\program files\iTunes\iTunes.exe.Make sure name typed correctly,try again Quick time player works fine.Is there a fix for this,have tried removing/reinstall-change/repair a few times but file iTunes exe doesnt download.Anybody got a clue.?

I recently downloaded/updated to the windows 8 and i wanted to install itunes so i can update my iphone. My computer will not download it at all. i will load till its about 75% done then it will just disappear.
I called apple to see if it was something they could help me with but it wasn't they said this was the first they've heard of and to write a question here.

ITunes account not downloading app updates/purchases
Little background:
Purchased a new iMac and wanted a shared itunes library between all users. Imported my multiple users (2) from two other macs (unibody macbook 13" and older iMac) via migrate assistant. Subsequently have moved my entire libraries to a shared location.
Heres my problem:
My primary user account will not install apps to my library. The app will download (in iTunes) and will sit in the downloads folder as a temporary file (both for purchases and updates.) Music, TV, and Movies appear to work just fine but apps seem to be the only issue.
Also, this is only happening with one of my two users on the computer. I can log into the other user account, sign in to my iTunes account and download new or update apps, tv, music just fine.
Any ideas?Apple needs to apply the same logic they use on the iPhone and iPads to the iTunes. Just prompt me for the iTunes account of the App holder. If I know it then I should be able to update it. It's a bit annoying to see that there are apps to update and to have to go through your entire families accounts in iTunes to finally find the correct one.

ITunes artwork not downloading with file and tab blanked out.
The last 4 items I have downloaded from iTunes (tv Shows and Movies) are not coming with any album art. As the TV shows are on season pass its only the latest episodes that don't have artwork.
Also the artwork tab is greyed out on the Get Info screen.
Gettin art work via menu does not work.
Anyone else having this problem? or know a fix?

Not a lot of joy, but here is what I have discovered.
I have been having this problem for about a month as well. Video files downloaded from iTunes have no album art or account info and the artwork tab is greyed out.
My library is stored on a QNAP NAS. When I download any video file everything looks fine until the end when 'processing file' occurs. This will take only a second on any faulty file yet 4/5 or more sec when everything is working.
I have created a new library with files being stored on the hard drive of my mac and tried down loading a free tv episode. This works fine.
So I feel like I am narrowing the problem to my itunes library or the NAS (which had a software upgrade in april)
I'll post if I find out anything more. -

what are the circumstances under which you are getting that error? are you launching, importing a CD, plugging in an ipod, something else? (err on the side of too much information rather than too little.)
are you getting a Windows Explorer error message too when itunes crashes? if so, what does it say?

Now that I have updated my iphone 4s to iOS 7.0.
I cannot add music to my iphone or upload photos to iphoto.
I have the last itunes 10.6.3. which was supported by apple.
itunes will not interact with my iphone on any level.
Apple made all the equipment I use.
Bentley and Ferrari etc do not stop making parts for their cars?

Regarding iOS 7.0 you have totally lost the plot.
We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. PLEASE HELP ME!!!Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect. -

My sister is having the same issue on iPhone 4. iTunes only loads the menu buttons at the bottom of the app with no content. I'm going to have her try the reset settings.
I will add that iTunes on my iMac seems to require a cookie from Safari to keep you logged in. I've never seen the same requirement on the phone but iBond's solution will work if you ever have an issue with iTunes log in on your computer. -
Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store
Every time I try to connect to the ITunes Store an error pops up : Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store. I have downloaded the updated software and have access to the internet. Anyone ever run into this problem?
If it still has problems after trying the steps above, try resetting Winsock. It looks like it worked for a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.

2nd gen ipod touch running 4.2.1 (which is the highest availble for that generation).
I have a free weather app that just came out with an update. This new version requires at least 4.3.
Since I have the older version of the app, iTunes notifies me of the update, which is not going to work on my ipod. (Actually I downloaded it anyway just to confirm that it wouldn't work, and sure enough, it didn't even want to start).
So now that I have deleted that version and reloaded the old one, will I be stuck with that number 1 next to the Apps icon for ever more? We warn against relying on the new iWork Apps, they really are just public betas and we are getting a number of users here with unopenable files. Bad news if this is your Masters.
iWork '09 can be purchased as a Boxed DVD set from Amazon US$27, or online.
It is much more usable and safer (not totally).
LibreOffice [free] does not have as polished a UI but is actively supported, and uses open file formats as well as MsOffice formats. It also has the advantage of opening/saving virtually every known format on the planet (wish it would do Pages!) and has a usable but not briliant intgrated database.

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

I have tiger 10.4.11. In order for my computer to recognize my new Iphone I need to install the new iTunes, however the new iTunes will not download on my computer because it is not 10.5 or higher. Is there a way that I can upgrade from tiger to leopard? Help!!
