Itunes fails during backup at the end

Hello,
Everytime during a backup to disk, Itunes fails when "checking items for backup" gets to about 95%. I tunes then locks up and nothing happens. Anybody got a tip they can give me?

Most likely your songs got unchecked. iTunes will not automatically advance to an unchecked song.
First make sure you can see the checkboxes. If not, Preferences > General, Show list checkboxes.
If they have gone empty, you can recheck them all at once by holding the CMD or OPTION key (sorry I forget which on a Mac, so if one does not work try the other) and click any empty box.

A couple of months ago, I went to the Apple Store to try and sort this problem out. I was told that I was not playing my songs out of an actual music library. I created a library and loaded all of my songs, movies, etc. onto it. I had found that when I synced my songs from the new library onto my itouch, the songs no longer stopped in odd spots or bled into each other. To ensure that most of my songs had been fixed, I played the ones that were the most problematic. Fortunately, the songs play all the way through without any interruption. So far, I have not encountered the same problems that I had posted in my question. I apologize for not knowing the fellow's name who helped me with my iTouch at the Apple Store, but I would like to say how thankful and happy I am now that my iTouch no longer skips to the next song.
I know that other people have had this same issue with their iPods. If you encounter your music not playing correctly, I would suggest that making a new library and loading all of your music into the new one may help correct the problem. I hope that this helps.

My computer downloads itunes and then right at the end it says I have insuffient priviliges in my C: file and that I should log on as administrator. I have deleted Itunes completely and reinstalled it numerous times but it is still coming back with this.

This is a Windows question about Windows user account privileges. Go to your Windows user account settings and check if your account has admin rights. If not, log in as administrator and give your account the correct rights. Or, better yet, when you get the message provide the admin account password and continue with the install.
If you are not the administrator for the computer, contact him/her and ask them to install the app or give you the necessary privileges. Or try asking on a Windows forum.

Note: To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata% and press the Return key.
Delete the entire Backup folder if there is anything at all in it.

Although iTune terms says that all sales are final. You can try explaining to get a refund.

Will the iTunes or iCloud backup retain the app data?

Will the iTunes or iCloud backup retain the app data? I've app data which is very necessary! I've a game which I've taken 5 months to reach that height! Will I be able to retain it?

iCloud backups retain app data. The only caveat to this is that each app's developer determines individually if they decide that their app will store data in an icloud backup. You can check this out by going to settings > icloud > storage and backup > manage storage > select your backup > then ensure that the app you're concerned about is switched to 'on'

Itunes crashed during backup and I can't get help from apple support on the

website.
Stupid Itunes crashed on disk 41 of 46 when backing up.
There is no help available on the apple website and no way to request help on the apple website for any issue with Itunes.
How do I fix this problem?
How do I tell Itunes which disks it backup up so it won't try backing them up all over again. Did it destroy a list of what was backed up? What's going on with itunes anyways? Does it always crash when it backs up this many cds? I don't want to start all over again and ruin another 41 CDR disks trying to back it up. How do I get it to continue from where it crashed or do whatever has to be done to get it to resume where it crashed during backup?
Stupid program wouldn't let me do anything after it crashed. said it will take a minute or two (more like forever) to cancel backup. Don't even know why it was trying to cancel the backup. I didn't tell it to.

Apparently there are some bugs in the latest itunes. DO NOT USE ITUNES TO BACKUP YOUR LIBRARY! UNLESS IT COMPLETES THE BACKUP, ITUNES IS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO FIGURE OUT WHICH FILES WERE BACKED UP. TECH SUPPORT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE ITUNES KNOW WHAT FILES WERE BACKED UP SO IT CAN CONTINUE FROM WHERE IT LEFT OFF. AFTER 41 CDS WORTH OF BACKUPS, ITUNES CRASHED AND IT TRIED TO CANCEL THE BACKUP BUT NEVER FINISHED DOING THAT.
SO AFTER 60 CDS WORTH AND ABOUT 6 HOURS OF WASTED TIME, THE ONLY WAY IS TO BACKUP THE ENTIRE LIBRARY ALL OVER AGAIN WHICH IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, AND CDS WITH NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK ANY BETTER THE SECOND TIME AROUND.
EVEN TRYING TO RESTORE FROM CDS DOESN'T TELL ITUNES TO UPDATE ITS LIST OF BACKED UP FILES. I'M SURPRISED THAT SUCH A BIG BLUNDER WITH ITUNES HAS GONE UNNOTICED.
ITS A SERIOUS ENOUGH ISSUE THAT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT. I BACKED UP MY ITUNES TO HD AND THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS SO OBVIOUSLY ITS AN ITUNES ISSUE.

My Time Capsule has just failed, 2 months after the end of 12m warranty. same old known power supply issue, "just unlucky" says my local Apple service center. ***?

i bought a 2TB Time Capsule in Sep 2010. its just failed last week, less than 2 months after the expiry of the 12month warranty.
and 3 months after the end of Apple's offer to replace all the many Time Capsules that have failed previously due to this same fault.

"you can't. we could try break it open and recover the hard disk i guess, but no guarantees we'd get it, and you'd have to pay for us to do that, whether it works or not of course".
"er.... is there a hidden camera in here? are we on TV? you can't be serious ? ..and this piece of garbage is what i've been using for a secure backup of my precious, irreplaceable, priceless personal data ???"

ceeb28744. Welcome to the Apple Users Support Community. Sorry to hear your TC died! You said it was a 2TB so I would guess it be the model A1355/MB997LL/A or MC344LL/A. Believe it or not all users of these time capsules will eventually experience this problem like you have. There is a 99.5% (or better) chance that the only thing that is wrong with it is the internal power supply. Apple Time Capsule Repairers and from that list you will be able to choose from a list of individuals that could repair your TC and have it returned to you fully operational again. The individuals on the list are hardware technicians and they can save you a lot of money and time.

Cant download real football 2012 from itunes. Get stuck towards the end

Hai guys..
I am from india and i own an Iphone 3gs..
I have been trying to download Real Football 2012..
But every time i do it downloads till almost the end and then shows an error..downloading fails when downloaded around 422.3MB out of the total 422.5.. This happened three times.. And one time the error came at 422.5 MB..This is just frustrating..Someone please suggest a solution

System Image Backup Failed During Backup

I have a 2 year old HP pavilion g series notebook. I was doing a system image backup onto dvd+r disks. It was nearly finished when on disk #99 I got this message "The Backup Failed. The system cannot find the path specified (0x80070003)
My computer is out of warranty and I'm out $60 in disks if they can't be used. I need to know it there is a way to salvage what I saved and restart Image backup from where it left off?

I understand that you were doing an image backup and when it was nearly finished you received the error (0x80070003). Here is a link to a Microsoft answer to assist you. Windows backup error 0x80070003 ( Answered by Vinod N)
I am unsure if you would be able to start again and pick up on disk 99, as once you have repaired it, it will have changed from when you first ran the backup. The disk you used were not read, writeable, so you would not be able to reuse them. You may find that an external drive would be a more economical way to do your backups. The data would be in one place and easier to store. If you decide to use a USB stick it must not be more then 32GB and will not say Windows 8 on it.
You can most likely purchase an External drive for about the cost of replacing the disks. Here is a link to HP Shopping External storage , but you can purchase one at many places, computer shops, Staples,Walmart, and Office Depot are just a few. I hope this helps.

Writing variable value to a textfield during(not at the end of script) script.

May be this is a stupid question, but I need to know the answer.
The question is
Is it possible to write a variable's value to a text field or numeric field during or in the middle of a script, not like at the end of script. Actually I found that live cycle designer forms writes values to fields when event script finishes.
I tried on a click even of a button.
TextField1.rawvalue = "5" ;
xfa.host.messageBox("test message");
But code shows alert message first and then writes the value afterwards. When alert windows pops up text field is having old value or say blank.

You could try using the layout:ready event, you just need some way of working out what the next step is, maybe for form variable you can increment each time the layout:ready event is called so you know to write out the next thing. IPad 1 upgrade from 4.3.1 to 5.1.1 and error message 0e800400C during backup. The response I get is that it is trying to backup my ipad.

I'm trying to upgrade my ipad and it tries to backup before the upgrade. During the backup I get an error message 0e800400C and a promot that if I continue I may lose data (I'm ok with it. I have already cleared data and settings). When I press continue, the upgrade stops and the Ipad restores automatically. So, I'm unable to get it done. Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong?

Contacts Failed to Backup to the Cloud on LG Lucid
