Itunes for iphone viewing titles

Hello,
Just trying to see if there is a solution to my problem. When I'm using itunes it's impossible to know the full title of the song/podcast/movie etc that I want to download because there isn't enough space to see the title. I have tried to flip my phone to landscape and I tried to click the title to see it but it doesn't work. Is there a secret way to view it or are we out of luck???

If you mean using the same iTunes account with both to purchase and download music direct with both, yes.
And multiple iPods and/or iPhones can be synced with the same iTunes library on your computer - I don't believe there is a limit for the number of iPods and/or iPhones that can be synced with iTunes on a single computer.

I would love to have this possibility to just drop all myhundreds of "musical ideas" movies in a folder/playlist like iTunes interface and have them available for viewing web based for musical co-writers & collaborators.

iTunes doesn't do Internet broadcast. I suggest you use iMovie to compress your files into and Internet file format. You can then use mobile me or YouTube to show your material over the Internet.
If you want to maintain more control over the material, you may want to set up a computer to become a server. That way you can give access codes only to persons you want to see the material.
I would look into mobile me if I was you. It sounds like you only need a small Internet presence to do what you want to do. And I think MobileMe would give you all the tools you need to distribute your material to those you want to see it. And it would do it at a very low cost.

No Podcasts on iTunes for iPhone

Does anyone know if apple is planning on adding podcasts to the iTunes for the iphone?

I think what the OP was asking about was getting the podcasts directly through the iPhone's iTunes application rather than syncing them from the computer's iTunes application. It would be kind of nice, especially when traveling.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.

Creating Ringtones on itunes for iPhone

I have been trying to create ringtones for my iPhone from itunes.
But every time I try ti great it, it comes up with an unknow error 1156. and says that itunes cannot connect to itunes store.
Is anyone else is also facing this problem?

This worked for me...
In iTunes, right click on the song you are going to make into a ringer and select “Get Info.”
Go to the options tab and go down to the “Start Time” and “Stop Time” check boxes. Check both boxes and input the time you want your ringtone to start/stop. The ringtone has to be 30 seconds or less. Click OK when you’re done.
Right click on your newly “clipped” song and select “Convert Selection to AAC.” The song will be re-encoded using the start and stop times determined (If your menu item does not read “Convert Selection to AAC” and reads “Convert Slection to MP3″ (or some other format) please go to iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Importing and change the “Import Using” drop down menu to “AAC Encoder”).
After the song is done encoding navigate to your iTunes Music folder, locate your song, and drag it to your desktop. After the song is on your desktop go back to iTunes and delete the clipped version from you iTunes library (It won’t delete it from your desktop, it will only remove it from iTunes).
Go back the song on your desktop and right click on your song and chose “Get info.” Go to the name and extension section and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r (or you can just change the extension right from your desktop)
After the extension is changed simply double click on the file to add it to your iTunes library under the ringtones section. Sync your phone with iTunes and you’re done!
What you need to do is turn on "View File Extensions" under your folder view options.
Then go to your desktop right-click, rename and change the .m4a to .m4r and sey yes when it asks if youre sure.

Can I add an extra lower quality music library to iTunes for iPhone syncin?

I currently have my whole iTunes library in Apple Lossless format as I like the high quality for my AppleTV and don't mind the extra HD space it takes up. However, it means that the files are really too big for the limited 8GB capacity of my new iPhone.
Question - can I set up a seperate area/seperate Music Library/seperate folder (whatever), where I can duplicate my entire current iTunes Music Library at a lower quality setting, specifically for use when syncing to my iPhone?
1. How would I duplicate to a lower quality?
2. How do I set up a seperate area for these lower quality files that will sync to iPhone?
3. Could I automate the CD ripping process so that it placed a file in each of the seperate areas (big ask that one)?

1. Go to iTunes Preferences>Advanced>Importing
Select Import using <AAC encoder> Setting <Custom>
Select the music you want to duplicate and add it to a playlist so its easier to find
Select all music to duplicate again right click and select Convert Selection to AAC
2. Close iTunes. Open iTunes holding the option key
It will ask you if you want to create a new library or open an existing one. Select create library
Add the new lower quality songs to the library
You can add the original songs first to this new library >>> then convert >>> and after the conversion remove the original songs from the library(just from the library do not move them to trash)
You can also just create a new playlist with the lower quality songs but then you would have duplicates in your library
3 You would have to import the songs from the CD twice
a. Once in the good quality library(by changing the import settings back from the low quality)
b. Then open the new library change the import settings and import again
An easy way to find the newly created files is adding a new smart playlist with the rules:
Playlist is Music
Limit to <how many songs you are duplicating> <items> selected by <most recently added>

Videos from PC to iTunes for Iphone

I have a PC and i was trying to download a video from you tube and then sync it on itunes in order to have it on my iphone, it didn't work, the problem seems to be when i try to take the video into iTunes, which i can't. Maybe i am doing something wrong. Does anyone knows if this is possible?

IPhoto Events NOT Appearing in iTunes for iPhone Syncing

Hi Guys,
I'm a recent convert from PC to mac. I loaded all my pictures into iPhoto and it recognized them all correctly as Events.
In iTunes though, I don't see a listing of my events. It says "Last 3 Months" and "Last Import"
How can I get it to see my events?

You need to create "Albums" in iPhoto if you want them separated by Events:
Ex: Johnny's Birthday (drag the birthday pix in Album-Titled: Johnny's Birthday
Next Album, etc.
In iTunes, when you go to the "Photos" Tab.. you choose which Albums you want to sync in phone.. Then Ta daa!
I personally, just made an Album Titled "iPhone". Any pix I want in my iPhone, I just drag it in that file.. (all events)
That way I only have to worry about one file.

You are talking about 2 different things here. iTunes 64 bit is for your computer. Go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. This should automatically detect your computer and download the correct iTunes version for your computer.
The next thing you reference 4.2.1, is an iOS version, the older iOS for the iPHone 3GS. Once you get the correct version of iTunes, you will be able to connect your iPhone and sync, but you will have to install the new iTunes first.
