Itunes freezes and stops responding after about 1 minute of being open
This problem has been happening only recently. It just freezes, I logged onto my computer yesterday and it did the same thing. And it's doing it again today!! its really frustrating! I just re-installed itunes, the latest version for windows. My computers specs can handle it no problem..
The song i am listening still plays, but just the program stops responding
I only have like 103 songs.
I got an ipod classic about a month ago and converted some videos for it, just letting you know incase that is the problem. but this never happened when i got my ipod or before.. only just now.
so whats going on and how can i fix it?

Have you tried to give it a reboot? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. WHen you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

My ipod only goes to the apple screen and freezes then turns off after about a minute. Is this fixable?
Try a system reset. It's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc. -

Videos stop playing after about 2 minutes on ITunes
Hello! Sorry, if I have missed an answer to the same question. I have recently upgraded to ITunes 7.5.0.20 and found out that any video purchased through ITunes stop playing in about 2 minutes. While ITunes show the video is still running, there is no picture (and no sound) on the computer with the last picture frozen. There is no problem in playing the same videos on Ipod so far. The problem appeared only after I have upgraded ITunes and does not go away while I have tried to re-install ITunes a number of times. No problem with the video files converted and transferred to ITunes. Would appreciate any hint or solution. Michael
It's an internal problem with the hardware/software with computers running windows. The only solutions is to copy your videos to an external harddrive, and play them from there. If you do so they will play normally. There has not been a "fix" from itunes yet, so that's the only way to watch them (for now).

IE 11 Does not load pages and "Stops Responding" After 11/26/2013 Windows Update
I have Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. IE 11. (Doesn't matter if I try to open 32 or 64 bit IE)
I keep Automatic Updates on and they install as soon as they are available.
Everything on my PC was running fine 11/25/13.
I came to it 11/26/13 after Windows Updates ran and now whenever I open any webpages, it does not load the web page 100%, no hyperlinks can be clicked on and once you attempt to click on anything. I get the "IE 11 has stopped responding" bubble.
It also seemed to affect Firefox which does not completely load pages either.
Any shove in the correct way to help solve this would be helpful.Robert -
Anyone who has gathered over 13,000 points is certainly to be respected as being super smart and uber helpful. However, your response is inadequate on two counts.
First, "stopped working" is not an inexact phrase, nor is it a euphemism trotted out by a newbie who hasn't the skill to describe the problem accurately. "stopped working" is an exact part of the error message issued by Windows. Of course it would
help if Windows would issue error messages that are more useful, but that is a different issue. For the purposes of this discussion, "stopped working" as part of the exact error message is a useful piece of information.
Second, despite your excellent suggestions for hunting down the problem, I'm guessing that few people here have the time or inclination to be beta testers for Microsoft. Even if the exact cause is found, it is not likely that anyone here will
be able to fix the problem. There are literally hundreds of people complaining about this problem in multiple forums. If you know your consumer behavior metrics, then you know that means tens of thousands are affected. This is systemic, not
a random problem on a few errant machines. Microsoft needs to know that they have a major problem on their hands and they need to fix it. I saw this problem starting with IE 10. Is it any wonder that in that time, IE usage has fallen greatly
while Chrome has become the dominant browser? (The only reason I am bothering to write instead of just shifting to Chrome is that Chrome also has its bugs, one of which affects a web app I use several times a week, so I need a functioning version of
IE.)

Videos freeze + IE stops responding after 5 mins
I have been having trouble with Youtube videos. Every single video will freeze after 5 minutes. However, the audio will continue playing until the entire browser stops responding. The video eventually resumes after the browser recovers.
I have tried IE 9 and 10
I have tried adobe flash player 11.7 and 10.3
I have tried disabling hardware acceleration
I have cleared my browsing history
I tried updating my graphics card
I tried software rendering
This problem doesn't occur in Opera.

Web player randomly cut off sound and stop playing after about 5 seconds.
My web player cut off the sound and stops after about 5 seconds. The only way to get it to work again without refreshing the page it to select a different time periode in the time bar. Also it happens more often at the first 25% of the movie.
I am using safari with add block on a Macbook pro retina (if this helps with the issue).

I've tried checking for updates (none necessary), running v 9.1.5
Everytime I open it and connect a camera I have to force quit because it stops responding and won't upload.
It's uploaded from both these cameras before with no problem.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -
Firfos 3.6.6 on Mac 10.6.4---Typing Hangs Up...After installing 3.6.6. I cannot type in Navigator or Google. I have to wait about 5 minutes to works.

Firefox freezes and stops responding even after reinstall
Hi, I've been a Firefox user for a decade, despite three attempts to switch to Chrome. But this is getting on my nerves. I'm in the middle of something and suddenly the browser freezes - I can move the cursor over whatever bookmarks, menu items, tabs or content but nothing responds. It's exactly as if the entire browser had turned into a printscreen. I get no crash report afterwards, I just close and restart it. This has been going on for quite a few months now. I'm using the latest version by the way.

The user.js file '''does not exist by default'''. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not create the file then delete the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create and write in the file also).

Its really great to just select a text and let your PC read it out load and i love that feature. But it is just not working for me in the new safari.
When in Safari, my page also jitters as I scroll and the doc also jitters when I pass the cursor over it.... have not yet found a solution......

IPod Touch turned black and stopped responding after playing music
I was sitting listening to music last night with my iPod in my lap (not near any liquid), and when the album finished, I sat for a minute before trying to press the home button and choose new music. When I tried that, nothing happened; the screen remained blank. I tried pressing and holding the on/off switch and home button (not at the same time) and nothing happened. It did not respond to being plugged into my computer or to a wall outlet at home. My iPod has never had battery problems and that one, 45 minute album was the only thing I'd listened to since charging my iPod.
This morning, after I saw the troubleshooting option to press and hold the home and on/off buttons at the same time, I tried this and it did work after 10-15 seconds. When it came back on, it showed full power (it had been plugged in all night, although it still didn't respond to normal home button/ power switch pressing before the reset) and had its display set at the beginning of the final song I'd played the night before. It synced normally, although, again, the last song I'd listened to was not recorded with a new play count/last played date. It's also been sort of slow since then.
The problem is that I'm not going to be in town for long, and if this signals a deeper issue that's likely to recur or get worse, then I want to get it checked out before I leave. Is it worth it to take it into a store, or since it's working now, would there be nothing they could do to diagnose underlying issues?I would perform a restore. You probably have some software corruption.

Final cut movie burned on dvd studio seems squashed in 16:9 letterbox
we recently shot a movie in hd 1080i60 and edited in FCP, upon burning the dvd in dvd studio, the images appear "squashed"...can anyone help me with the correct settings for conversion to quicktime movie or the correct settings in DVD studio??? HELP!
