Itunes from mac to itunes in windows pc via iCloud

i would like to synchronize my itunes from my back via iCloud to the windows pc - is this possible and when yes - how can i do it?itu

"from  my back", do you mean from a backup?  If you have a backup of an iOS device in icloud (computers cannot back up to icloud), then you can't get anything out of the backup to the PC.  Is this what you mean?  (Also, music is not backed up from an iOS device to icloud.  You would need to subscribe to iTunes Match to get all music from a computer to the Match cloud and then they can sync down to your other devices.)

"This ipad could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized with that purchased item on this ipad"
I did authorized in the store, but still did not transfer to the mac. Could you please to tell me what should I do it? Please let me know that as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    Thank you

The iPad is fine.  But the computer you're syncing with needs to be authorised with the Apple ID that was used to buy the material on the iPad.  You do this by picking the 'Authorize' item from the menu in iTunes and entering the account name and password.

For your music I strongly suggest this: https://www.fadingred.com/senuti/
Its a program that allows you to import the music from your ipod to your computer. Just remember to NOT SYNCING the ipod with itunes before saving your music or photos or all will be deleted. Good Luck

  • Transferring iTunes for Mac to iTunes for Windows

My son currently uses iTunes for Mac to store all his music he for his iPhone. His iTunes is on a PowerBook G4, running OS X 10.4.11, which he now finds can not be upgraded to Leopard or Snow Leopard which would give him the latest version of iTunes. He is now thinking of purchasing a PC laptop that will run the latest version of iTunes. BUT, all of his music is on his Mac PowerBook. Is there way to transfer his music on iTunes for Mac to iTunes for Windows?

    Chris,
Thank you for responding. I only went by what my son said. I will check out Leopard's system requirements. Do you know if music stored on iTunes for Mac can be transferred to iTunes for Windows. If so,what I do to transfer the music?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
iTunes in the cloud will let you redownload any purchase you have made (not just new purchased) to your iPod.
iTunes match will let you download anything from your library.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

    Hi Blonde in a jag,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on your exact intended usage, but if you are looking to share photos from your Mac to your Windows PC via iCloud, you may want to take a look at the My Photo Stream feature. You may find the information outlined in the following articles helpful:

  • Hi I'm new to Mac & I have bootcamp on it but am stuck, how do I get from Mac side to the Window side?

Hi I'm new to Mac & I have bootcamp on it but am stuck, how do I get from Mac side to the Window side?

Hold the "option" key on boot.  Choose the system to boot.
Then "System Preferences > Startup Disk" to select Max OSX as your default system.
There is another "system preferences" in the Windows menu that is added by bootcamp to make it the default, but I do not know the details of that.

  • How to consolidate iTunes from MAC & PC on to a NAS box?

    === Background ===
I've got 2 MACs & 2 PCs (WinXP) and I want to get the iTunes data consolidated to the network.
I've got iTunes data (including purchased songs) on both MACs and 1 PC.
MACs have iTunes 8.02. PC has iTunes 7.4.3.1 (but I can upgrade if that helps).
All purchased songs have DRM and were bought using the same Apple ID.
All the machines are on the same 10/100 network.
I have a NAS box (BuffaloTech) that can be viewed from each machine.
    === Challenge ===
I'd like to move all the iTunes content to the NAS box so that:
    - all songs/playlists, etc are in 1 place
    - I can use iTunes on any machine MAC/PC to see/play the same libraries
    - I can use iTunes from any machine to buy/add more songs to the libraries
    === Questions ===
    How hard is all this?
Does the answer get more complex if some of the MACs have multiple accounts?
I'd like each account to be able to see all the songs.
I've read about moving iTunes to an external drive. I figure I can use the same process
to move iTunes from one machine to the NAS. I wasn't able to see much about merger the other iTunes libraries in with the first. Should I do this through my iPhone/USB rather than through the network 10/100?
Once I have the iTunes setup/consolidated on the NAS, how to I get the iTunes on each machine
to use the data on the NAS. Will I run into issues (e.g. file locking) when more than one machine uses the iTunes database at the same time?
What should I watch out for?
Any recommendations regarding this sort of configuration?
    Thanks for any advice,
    -Dave

    Hey u2sweetestallie,
Thanks for the question and detailed information. If your backup drive (in your example, drive A) included the iTunes Library files, you can open the library by following these steps:
iTunes: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file or create a new one
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589
If the hard drive did not include the iTunes Library files, but instead just the music, you may wish to re-link or re-import the music:

  • Iphone not being recognized by Itunes for MAC; But works in Windows Vista

    Hi,
My iphone sync with Windows without problems.
But when I plug my iPhone in MAC (10.5.5) with Itunes (8.0.2) the iTunes return: itunes could not connect to the iphone 0xE8000001
It is strange because iPhone connect with iPhoto without problems.
Just iTunes for mac dont work.
This is a brand new minimac.
    Any tips?
    Rogerio

    RogerioNT,
Which USB port are you connecting it to?
iPhoto will transfer over a USB 1.1 connection, and many hubs are USB 1.1. Try connecting the iPhone directly to the back of the computer.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Can i download my current itunes from mac to my pc

can i download my current itunes libery to my pc windows

Assuming youre copying from Mac to PC AND you've already got iTunes on your PC**:
The simplest way (assuming both computers are networked AND already have the same iTunes account ID enabled) is to enable Home Sharing on both then
Then, while on your PC, select your Mac's iTunes Library in the sidebar, choose whatever you want then click import.
    DONE
    Alternately:
    1. Make sure your new iTunes Library is linked to the same iTunes acct.
    2. Copy over music thru any available means (LAN, wifi, DVD, flash drive etc) to you iTunes Music or Media
Folder on your PC (you can check within iTunes Prefs to see exactly where this folder dwells, assuming you want to keep the default).  (FYI PC will only recognize Fat32 formatted flash drive)
    3. Drag all the Folders of songs to the music icon int the  iTunes  sidebar.
**If you're going PC to PC you'll also want to transfer some useful files (like the iTunes Library file itself) There's an article here within iTunes support on this website enumerating which files and where)
