ITunes Games

I just upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and purchased a couple of games for my iPod. The purchases went through fine but wouldn't transfer to my iPod and iTunes froze.
I closed iTunes and reopened it and the GAMES category was missing from iTunes and it says that I already purchased the games. I located the games on my computer and tried to add them to iTunes manually but the GAMES category still doesn't appear in iTunes and the games are not on my iPod.
Any ideas???

I have the same problem, authorized and all, still
won't Sync the game to my Nano.
The games are not compatible with the Nano, they only work on 5g Ipod with 1.2 firmware.

All apps and games downloaded from the iTunes store are for use on an iOS device. They will not work on a computer.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
No slingbox won't work through the Apple TV. If there is a slingbox app for the iPad AND the app has been enabled for video AirPlay then yes you can stream to the Apple TV, if not then it won't stream.

How can i save itunes game apps to an external hard drive?

Im trying to do a clean install of osx mountain lion since i noticed computer is starting to get slow but was wondering if theres a way to do that since im a complete noob and also on how to save itunes game apps data to an external drive since i dont want to loose them can someone please guide me on how to do this?

Do a Time Machine backup to an external drive. It backs up everything.
Instead of restoring from time machine backup, go into time machine and drag out the things you want to restore.

Confused Laptop and iTunes Game Purchase

I have a laptop that I use for work that has a dedicated "my documents"folder that is backed up to our corporate servers each day. Therefore I have created a "personal" folder that includes a "my music" folder that does not get backed up daily and is on the root of c:.
iTunes still keeps trying to put a folder under the "public my documents" folder but I finally was able to get it moved and reading from the "personal" folder. However, now when I purchase a game from iTunes it is putting it in the "public my documents" folder rather than the personal one. I located the folder in an itunes games folder and tried to move it manually and it wont work still.
I've done the whole consolidate and everything. At this point I'm very frustrated and would really like to throw the thing away. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hold Shift when starting iTunes.
Select *Create new library* and select somewhere on your C: drive outside of My Documents.
Then add all your music to iTunes.
iTunes will use this location from now on & when you connect to the company server, iTunes will no loger try to use My Documents/My Music/iTunes.

ITunes games not on iPod

I just purchased several of the iTunes games from the iTunes store. They downloaded to my Mac just fine but I can't drag them to my iPod video (60gig). I have the latest version of iTunes and my ipod is set to update manually. The iTunes store said that the games would be transferred automatically but didn't. How do I get them onto the iPod video?

The most likely reason for this is that you didn't
update your iPod software to the latest version. The
old G5 iPods won't play those games without a update
of the iPod software.
John, my iPod video firmware is 1.2 and when it's loaded on iTunes, iTunes tells me it is up-to-date and won't let me update it. I"ve looked for another way to download the file and re-update it but can't find it. I really don't want to completely restore my ipd vid because I have 40 gigs of "stuff" on it and I don't want to have to put them all back on.
Do you have any other ideas how to get that "games" playlist on my iPVid under iTunes.?
When I am playing my iPOd there is a games category under "extras" but it only contains the text version of games that came with it.

I get a blank white screen on iTunes Games page

I can load every other page in the iTunes store to my knowledge, but for some reason when I go to the Games section of the App Store I get a blank white screen. This has been occuring for months. I have the latest version of iTunes and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I am running on a Macbook OS X Mountain Lion Version 10.8.4

Same boat here. Has been an issue where I have not been able to select any categories beyond the App home page. Everything comes up blank. It started a few months ago with just the Games page coming up blank. Now it has spread to all categories within the App Store. All my purchases have mostly been either off the main page or on the iPod istelf. Is starting to get frustrating.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes a number of times. Defragged and cleaned up the hard drive.
I am running:
-iTunes (11.1).
-Windows XP (SP 3)
Connected devices:
-iPod Touch 5th gen (iOS 6.1.3)
-iPad 2 (iOS 6.1.3)
-iPod Touch 2nd gen (4.2.1)
-iPod Touch 2nd gen (4.2.1)

Itunes games + Nano help plz

Hi, I purchased a game from the Itunes store from my gift card. I saw before I purchased that it required a 4th or 5th generation ipod. I have the newest Nano and I would expect it to work. However when I sync my ipod to add the game, it goes through normally syncing, however when I go to my games in extras it is just the 3 default games and does not have my purchased game on it.
Is the game I purchased in another area on the Ipod or am I doing something wrong. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Game menu not showing in iTunes/game not in iPod

I had to rebuild my iTunes library, and when I synched my iPod nano (5G) the game I purchased wasn't on the device, and there's no game menu in iTunes when I plug it in. The game is still in the actual library, in a folder called iPod Games, but the iTunes refuses to install it on the iPod. The weird thing is that the built-in games for the iPod (Klondike, Maze, Vortex) are still on the iPod, but I can't find them anywhere in the iTunes library - there's only and empty folder called Klondike. I've tried moving around the iPod Games folder to different places within the ../ Music/ iTunes folder, but that got me nowhere.

Drag it to the library in the open iTunes application window.

Games purchased/downloaded from iTunes will only work on iOS devices, so they won't work on a Kindle - you will need to use the Amazon app store

Restoring iTunes Games

I recently upgraded to a new computer and was able to bring all my iTunes music, podcasts, and videos back, but I did NOT get any of the games. I'm affraid to sync the games because it will remove what is on my iPod classic. I looked at aftermarket software packages, but I couldn't find one that restores games. I really don't want to have to buy them again. Can anyone suggest how I can get my games back on my iTunes?

I would have expected that since games are just another type of iTunes purchase you could use iTunes to copy your purchases directly from the iPod to the computer. Cannot put iTunes game onto my iPod

I just bought Tetris, for my iPod classic. It shows up in my iTunes library. My iPod is also hooked up, and is showing as connected. I just transferred some music, but the usual click and drag isn't working for the game. Nothing happens. The support told me to click on the games tab under my iPod, but there isn't one, even though I already have 3 games on it. Now what? Can anyone help?
