ITunes Gift Card + Account Problems Please Help Save My Money!!!

I have a Taiwanese itunes account and i bought a gift card in australia (I live in Australia) and i know that i need to get an australian itunes account to buy items on itunes. so i went to create a new account in the australian section and i filled in all the boxes and also it asks for a gift card code if i had one and because i was too desperate so i typed in the code and clicked continue (this was in the payment method section). and then it came up with the page saying that your gift card is redeemed and you can now shop and i clicked ok and it returned to the main page (australian one) and i tried to login into my new account but it wouldn't let me and so i tried to type in my gift card code in the redeem section and it says that this gift card has already been redeemed by another account. I don't know how the **** am I gonna get my points back. Pleas Help Me !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm don't think that gift cards are currently available in India (and as they are country-specific you won't be able to use cards from another country).

Gift card/account problems

so i had a nano, but got a video for christmas along with two gift cards. i opened itunes store and looked around and it was a little slow but doing fine, but then i try and go to redeem my gift cards, at first when i entered it it was telling me a error, but now it won't even let me get to where you enter it, it's telling my "we cannot compleate you request at this time or something like that, and it's also happening when i go to look at my account. help please! i was just thinking maybe wait till tomorrow but i really have no clue.

ITunes gift cards & download problem

I am trying to help my son download songs onto his new iPod. 1st problem that occurred is that I don't get the option to purchase w/ a gift card. It automatically is charged to my credit card. I am unable to get my options set to being able to edit my shopping cart, etc.
2nd problem is that I am unable to get the songs from my computer to my iPod. I get an error message that I am not authorized to play the songs on this computer. How frustrating. I am the administrator of the computer and have the ability to do whatever I want, i.e. download, chat, etc. I don't understand this at all.
Can anyone help me with one or both of these issues?

to redeem a gift card, firstly dont try and create an accoutn. go to the itunes music store homepage. on the top right side corner it should have some QUICK LINKS
select redeem and then type your code in there.
a lot of people have been having difficulties today due to a backlog of traffic on the servers... try that.

i bought a £15 gift card today and i have tried entering my code EXACTLY on my iPhone and i tried doing it on my laptop aswell..
When i enter the code it just says that its not a valid code...
Anyone know why this is happening?

Itunes connection and Passcode problem (Please Help!!)

So, my computer recently was broken beyond repair.. so when I got a new computer and redownloaded itunes i tried to connect my itouch to charge it and i noticed it said "Itunes cannot open ipod in library please imput password on ipod" I never put a password on it... aparently one of my friends did. So I was being a total DA and attempted to guess the password too many times now the ipod's disabled untill i can connect to itunes and itunes wont let me connect untill I get the password, I'm at a total loss please help!

You need to place the iPod in recovery mode and then connect it to your new computer and restore it via iTunes. Note that you will lose all content on the iPod. You can redownload apps at no additional cost provided you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.

i am from philippines and i created my psn with singapore because there is no other option out there to register as a philippine based psn..my problem is i cant purchase thru ps store using my credit card because my credit card provider is from my country philippines and my psn country is singapore will obviously will not match..it is not our fault when ps devs did not provided philippines psn account option
we are also paying customers from ph,why can't they create or fix our issue with credit cards.i known a lot of ps players here wanted to purchase from ps store using credit card..if we buy psn cards from retailers they top up extra $6-10 which is overpriced..trying to get the attention of devs here.thanks in advance.

ITunes 9.2 + install problems please help.

hi guys i recently bought a new laptop and when i try to install itunes 9.2 or higher it shows an error.

That's consistent with disk/file damage, tame.
Let's try running a disk check over your C drive. There's Windows 7 instructions in the following document. Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

Does the disk check find/repair any damage? If so, try another iTunes install. Does the install go through without the error this time?

I have moved to Australia from the UK, but cannot buy from the Australian iTunes with my account. Please help.

If you contact the accounts team through the online contact form they can definitely set you up with a new account and transfer over all your music content. That’s not true at all.
Gift card is the carrier of the key duplicate - copy of the main key to the amount in dollars which in fact is stored on the Apple servers. This key the user of card need to assign to the needed account in Apple system. So if the card is not used the keys are not assigned to anyone.
Gift card in fact is just piece of plastic, it has no value until register - that’s why gift cards are not applicable to sales tax - by purchasing the gift cards you are not purchasing any goods at all.
And i'm very sure that when you purchasing iTunes gift card - it will need to be activated first before giving to purchaser hands - for example in UK where i purchased an iTunes gift card for their local iTunes Store - such cards always come with additional receipt of activation confirmation.
About replacing the lost card or getting the key of it.
This is very complicated thing. Theoretically Apple can easily replace your card or just give you the key of it - because Apple itself storing the keys and manufacture this gift cards. This is all about their will. On every card you can see a text: Not redeemable for cash, no refunds or exchanges (except as required by law). Cards are issued and managed by Apple Value Services, LLC (“Issuer”). Neither Apple nor Issuer is responsible for any loss or damage resulting from lost or stolen cards or use without permission.
So you will need to learn your local laws about refunding or exchanging - to return your money.
I have the same problem - i lost ten unused $100 cards during uninsured shipping and i'm interested at least to deactivate them. This is in fact a big problem with Apple Store system and this is about very Big $$$, not just some smidgen.

So I recently just put in this $10 ITunes gift card.. I was attending on to BUY something for $10. Well turns out I inputted it in and my balanced showed up to $4.66. Why is that? I spent $10 for only $4? Before I put in this gift card I got from Visa. It was a Visa Prepaid card for 25. I spent practically all of it. I had NO CLUE what my balance was before I put in the ITunes gift card.. Please help I want my full $10.
