Itunes gift cards troubleshooting (HELP!)

does anyone have any idea how i can rectify the errors i encountered when trying to download two albums from iTunes with a gift card? i was not able to use the music, yet the amount of the purchase was still deducted from my gift card. i cannot find any way of contacting a person from apple to help me with this. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

if the amount was already subtracted then itunes knows you bought them. so here is what you do:
Open itunes
in the store menu at the top of itunes click "check for purchases".
after you enter your account password for the itunes store itunes should start downloading any music you haven't received yet.

What happens when you try to redeem it ? Are you getting any error messages ?

I hope I am thinking right by saying that I can use an itunes gift card on my itunes store - i do have an account UK but i dont have a credit card. The account (itunes) was opened choosing the NONE option when I downloaded my first free app.
If I were to buy gift cards using cash/debit card from stores do you think I will be able to use them?

The only iTunes gift cards you could use would have to be purchased in the UK and you have to have a mailing address there as well to be able to set an account to be able to purchase any content.

I recently was trying to access my $100 Apple iTunes Store Back to School code, that they sent me via e-mail. I still have a copy of the e-mail to my account. However, when I tried to use the code, there was a message that the code had already been redeemed. I know that I personally have not used it and no one else had access to the code. I was wondering is there any way to get the balance back?

The problem is that physical retail outlets only handle physical merchandise. The iTunes store deals in digital media that is largely under control by a third party. While the difference only appears minor, it is not. When you buy something from a store, it is not tied to a account like it is on iTunes. This is the case with every other media store - they don't allow reselling of gift cards.

Go there and scroll all the way down to the bottom. At the links at the very bottom, all the way to the right, there will be a link under 'iTunes Store' that says 'Redeem iTunes Giftcards'

I have reset the app, I have deleted the app and downloaded again, I have turned my ipod off and on, I have made sure all updates are up to date and nothing has changed. I saw a similar question like mine and the answer was that you have to have a credit card linked to your iTunes account to make in app purchases and I was thinking they were right until I talked to a few friends who cancelled their credit cards and took them off of the account and can still make in app purchases so that can't be the issues. Can someone please help me this is driving me crazy I have talked to iTunes support but they weren't much support.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.
