i hav just brought three iTunes gift cards in the last 2 days thinkin that there was just a problem with a perticular 1 . but now that i do my research they is no real sollution 2 this problem yet... i do alot of downloading and stuff 4 myself and i am lost with out the new music i cant download cuz of this problem im very annoyed with it and i hope some1 can figure it out 4 me i hav sent emails n letters 2 the support people thing and still no reply i hope i get a quicker response through here

In rare occasions gift cards are not activated when you purchase them. You will need to email iTunes Store Department to get this resolved. This can be done by visiting the following URL: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser/

Can I use the itune gift card to redeem credits in US appstore to buy in-app staff which is from appstore in other country?

I download a app from appstore in Hong Kong and it did not allow me to buy the in app staff because my payment information is from US and i did not have the credit card from Hong Kong. There are no "app gift cards". Again, you can only use a credit card to purchase software in the Canadian iTunes Store.
Problem is I don't have a credit card to purchase the apps.
Perhaps you could obtain one of the "prepaid" credit cards some banks offer. If not, then the only way you'll be able to buy apps is to get someone to allow you to use their credit card.

The credit should be on your account.
You shoudl not have to re-enter anything.
It should stay on your account where you can access it from any computer/device with itunes.
Just sign into your account.

Hello I recently disbled my emial that was on file with iTunes. when i tried updating my apps it told me i had to reset everything. so i did. my email and password! obviously i had to log out of all my itunes app store stuff on my phone. when i tried logging back in it told me i had to review some information. it told me i had to put in a method of payment. i dont have a credic card but i have an AmEx gift card. but thats obviously not an option.... I would first check and see if the gift card's balance has been applied to your account:
Tap the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks.
Scroll to the bottom of the Featured tab.
Sign in with your Apple ID.
If you have a credit balance, you'll see it below your Apple ID.

I got a $50 gift card and when I try to redeem it in itunes it says it is invalid. I would really like to use it. Can anyone help? oh and we bought it at the apple store

ITunes gift card already redeemed with 1 apple ID and I cant redeem it with mine?

My mother in-law gave us her 1st GEN iPad and a iTunes card. The iTunes card was worth $15 and she only used $4 of it. I did a factory reset and loggined to the 1st GEN iPad with my apple ID and I went to iTunes to redeeme the rest of the amount of the gift card & it said that it was already redeemed. How can I get the $11 credit that's left on the card?
She isn't using Apple anymore and now has a Android tablet.

You can't, when redeeming a card the entire amount is creditied to the Apple ID doing the redemption, those funds are then not transferrable. They must be used by the Apple ID that reddemed the card.

i tried putting the gift card code into my ipod and it keeps saying that its an invalid code, even though i put it in the EXACT way that it is on the card.

Inactive gift cards are cards that were bought at the store but were not activated or improperly activated at the time of purchase. This means that if the card was "swiped" incorrectly, not swiped at all or swiped multiple times, the card becomes inactive. This is because the cards are sent to the retail stores without any value and "swiping" the card places the value amount of your purchase on the card.
iTunes does not send out replacement codes for inactive gift cards without receipts. You will need to provide them a proof of purchase before this is activated as the cards are sent to the retail stores without any value (inactive). However, they do have holiday exceptions (around december to mid-january) that allows them to activate cards even without a proof of purchase.
Since gift cards never expire, you might want to keep the gift card until december if you're still interested in using it. Just a thought.

I bought a $15 iTunes giftcard at Maverik and tried activating about 20 minutes later, I thought that would be enough time, and it says its an invalid card code. Ive used $50 gift cards and they have worked prior to this. Help anyone tonight? I will go complain tommorrow if it doesn't work.
