ITunes Gift Failed

I try to send iTunes gift for my friend (Rp250.000=$25), but when I try to execute, it's not acceptable.
I follow the instruction or step until the verification / confirm the details of billing, and when i confirm it, a pop up window appears that said "Contact iTunes Store Support to complete this transaction."
What should I do to complete this transaction.?
Please help ASAP.

Hey all,
On April 28 I attempted to send my girlfriend the Now Disney album via iTunes gift. As of now she still hasn't received an email or notification letting her download the album. The email address is 100% correct and I've resent the gift probably around 10 times but to no avail.
Is there anything I can do in this situation, or do we just have to wait and hope it finally decides to work?

iTunes gift cards MUST be redeemed in the country from which they were purchased...you cannot use the US iTunes store outside the US.

How can all family members of a Family Sharing Group use a gift card that has been been applied to the iTunes master account? I added a gift card to our master iTunes account for my grandson, and even though he's a family sharing group member, none of the purchases I have approved from his requests have used the gift card credit. It would seem reasonable to assume that any purchase made by any family member should be able to use the gift card credit since all purchases go through the master account, but this does not appear to be the case.

Regarding redeeming the gift card to the child's account, it is the same as redeeming to yours. You have to be signed in to the iTunes store using the child's apple ID, then redeem the gift card there. If you already redeemed the card on your ID, you won't be able to redeem it again.

Tried sending an iTunes gift card to a @facebook account but the recipient hasn't received it.
Is it possible to send to another of their @facebook accounts and if that also fails then to a conventional account?

To use an iTune Gift Card to buy books...
Open iTunes on your computer and click on the iTunes Store.
You'll need to be signed in...
Click on the little House icon in the dark gray bar across the top. (or Shift+Command+H)
On the right side of the page under Quick Links click Redeem and enter your code.
Then it will show your credit balance in the dark gray bar across the top next to your account name to let you know how much you have to spend.
Then as you buy books, it'll deduct from the credit balanace.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
      tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
      "done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

I seem to be having the same issue, however, no browser has worked for me.
I have tried on my windows pc, Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari. When this all failed I went to my parent's iMac and logged into my itunes account there and used Safari on their machine but I got an error saying that the itunes store wasn't avaliable. I authorized that computer as well.

Edit: Thae farthest I have gotten it to go is to open itunes. It loads to the store then just does nothing. No prompt to link accounts.

Hi, I sent someone an online iTunes gift card code as a present, although she failed to redeem it straight away.
I've been checking the status of the card/code within my iTunes account & for the past three months it read (Not yet redeemed)
However the status is now blank, does this mean the card/code has been redeemed or has it now expired?

First, make sure you're logged into the iTunes Store using the account ID and password you set up, or used, when you redeemed your card/gift. . If you are, try logging out of the account and back in.
If you're sure you are using the correct account and that you're logged in to the iTunes Store, and logging out and back in doesn't help, go to the Purchase History and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have a balance left. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display. This display error can usually be corrected by logging out of the iTunes Store and then back in.
If you confirm that you should have balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, send a message to the iTunes Store customer service department through the form at the bottom of their Gift Card FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

Have you had trouble with an itunes gift purchase?

I purchased an itunes gift card for my son. It never arrived via UPS Or USPS. I called to cancel it. It is very difficult to even get through to a real person on the phone line. The recorded messages on APPle contact phone number only refers you back to the website. AFter canceling the gift card, I purchased a gift certificate to arrive in MY email and I would give it to my son. It has been two (2) days and I have not received the etunes gift card. From whom did you buy the iTunes card? If it was from the Apple Store, did you call their ordering/customer service number (1-800-MY-APPLE)? I can't imagine that unless the line was just busy and was directing to the Apple web site people who didn't want to wait for an agent (and of course it is Christmas time, so it's quite possible that the order lines are jammed). You could also check your order status by going to the web Apple Store and clicking on the Order Status link. If you bought the card through some other vendor, then of course you'd have to check with that vendor.
As to your gift certificate, first check any spam filters on your computer or with your ISP to make sure that the email from Apple isn't being filtered out. Nine times out of ten, a gift certificate that fails to arrive has been caught by an email spam filter. Confirm that there's no spam filter in place that would catch a message from Apple and then try resending. Here are the steps to resend a gift certificate...
1. Launch iTunes.
2. Click on the Music Store icon in the Source pane to go to the Music Store.
3. Click on your account name to sign in to the iTunes Music Store.
4. Enter your password.
5. Click Purchase History.
6. Click the small grey arrow next to the Gift Certificate you'd like to resend.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the detail screen for the Gift Certificate and re-enter the recipient's email address.

Hey I just got the monitor for my computer back (its the same one, it was taken away for about a week or so) and when I go to the Music store, I basically cant do anything BUT browse around the store. I cant buy anything, and if I try to, it says unknown error, (-9808). The same thing happens if i try to create a new account and i get error 9808. I signed out during a troubleshoot, and I cant sign back in. If i do, I again get error 9808. I also cant access most of the quick links. i cant access "Redeem", "Buy iTunes Gifts", "Account", or "Support". if i try, i get unknown error (-1202). i can however click on "Power Search", "Browse", and "iTunes News". can some one please tell me how to fix this? Everything was fine until I plugged in my monitor and turned on my computer for the first time in more then 2 weeks.

B. Resolution
Check your computer's date, time, and time zone. Set the correct date, time, and time zone if needed. If your computer's date, time, and time zone are all correct and you still see this alert message, this issue can be resolved by modifying certain settings in the Internet Options control panel:
1) Go to the Start menu and choose Control Panel.
2) Select Internet Options.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista you may need to select Classic View on the left before you can see Internet Options.

If you mean you cannot read the code on the back of the card take it back to the store you purchased it from. If the numbers are not visable because you scratched them out I don't know if the store will replace or refund that. If you can read some of the numbers you could just keep trying a combination of letters and numbers to replace the missing ones. This will take a while depending on how many inputs are missing. You will have to use 0 through 9 and I am guessing A through Z.

Before the latest iTunes update, I was able to see my account balance (a whopping $9.98), but can no longer see the amount. I've tried logging out and back into iTunes to no avail. Same goes on my iPhone and iPod, and iPad. The system keeps asking for credit card info, but I'm hesitant to do that. (That's why we purchase iTunes gift cards, isn't it ?) !

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

You can't from Apple, they don't let you buy iTunes gift cards with an Apple Store gift card. You could see if a different store in your country might let you (though they possibly won't), or try selling the card to somebody e.g. family, friend, eBay etc
