ITunes gift: my receip can't redeem forgein gift (Got billed and can't redeem country to country gift)

I gifted an application via iTunes but the receipt can't redeem it, says it must be used for a country (chile) instead of other (Peru) , I got billed and can't give no use to this or ask for a refund , any ideas? Thanks!

You can only gift content (or amounts) to people whose account is based in the same country as your own. You could try resending it to somebody in Chile (resending gifts), or you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will credit or refund you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
