Itunes give me error
After i install itunes and tell it to run after it is install i get a error 2. even when i finish install it i get the same error. i even uninstall it like it tells me to and i keep getting the same error fix it asap please

When i plug in my iPhone to itunes so i could restore because i found it, itunes gives me error code 2009. on my iPhone, all that is displayed on the screen is the itunes logo and a usb cable saying to connect it to itunes. Help please?

If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. -
Why does itunes give an error saying " The Iphone cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-50)". Everytime I try to sync my phone? I have another Iphone that syncs with the same itunes account and it's working fine.

I downloaded dmg file from thelink provided and followed the steps. It still gives an error.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2. -
So my iphone 5 was having very bad battery problems and apple said they charged $80 to which i was astonished by because my warrenty ended 2 weeks eailer. I thought maybe they would be generous and help me out but no so i took it upon myself to get a new battery and install it myself. I did that and it turns out i need a new front camera flex ribbon so i also bought that and installed it myself. Whe i was donre installing it my phone flashed the apple logo and went black front there. I tried connecting to itunes and it gives me error 4014. Will apple still fix my phone even though i opened it?(Im not under the warrenty anymore).
It is unfortunate that you chose to open the device. Apple will not touch it now. Out of Warranty replacement is no longer an option.

Hello, ever since the new IOS update in Oct 2013, my iphone has been slowly dying. when I mean dying I mean certain functions did not work anymore, such as
camera, lock button-( which meant I could not turn phone off unless I ran battery dry). All other functions like messaging or texting, making and recieving calls worked. This continued up until I went to Cuba for a week during Xmas and had to run battery dry so would not incure roaming charges. After returning back to Canada, I tried to charge the Iphone but it kept looping the apple logo over and over. I then connected phone to itunes and tried to restore it and could not. Yes I have latest version of itunes for PC and it would give me unknown error 21. Could this be a batterry issue. Please help..I just wanted to add that I have updated to iTunes 10, and this problem still exists.

Can't install iTunes, gives two errors
Whenever I try to install iTunes, it gives me two error messages:
Error 1325.iPodService.Resources is not a valid short file name.
and
Error: -1603 Fatal Error during Installation.
Does anyone know what's up? I used to use iTunes, but uninstalled it after some problems with my computer, now I can't install it to use my iPod.Try installing the Quicktime standalone. Find it here:

Those errors are usually due to a broken Quicktime, which iTunes needs to have in order to run. TURN OFF all your security software, because programs like Norton will interfere with the successful download and install. Also, save it to your harddrive and install it from there instead of running it over the internet.

Cant open Itunes, gives me error. help please...
When I try and open itunes it gives me this error:
The Unstaller has insufficient privileges to modify this file: C:\ProgramFiles\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\Recovery.ipsw.
Then I click OK then it gives me:
Problem with Shortcut: Fatal error during installation.
I tried reinstalling and uninstalling iTunes and it will not allow me to do either.
Any ideas? Thanks.It sounds as though you need to cleanup your installer files.

Before you start I would download a fresh copy of iTunes as well as the stand alone QUicktime and the Miscrosoft installer cleanup utility:

When you are doing the uninstall section, don't worry if the uninstaller fails for a program, go on with the clean up of files and folder as given.
The really important part is the bit where you use the Microsoft installer cleanup utility to cleanup your installer files.
You probably don't need to worry about doing the "Disable conflicting software" section. -
ITunes gives unknown error (-50) when syncing songs with iPhone
I recently ripped a few mp3 files to my library and started up iTunes to sync them with my iPhone. If I recall correctly, this prompted me to upgrade to 9.2 of iTunes.
Everything synced perfectly - apps, photos, excpet for the new songs I had ripped - I got the unknown error (-50) syncing the new songs. This puzzled me as I followed the exact same process as I had when ripping all the other songs in the library.
I then removed an existing song from my iPhone, and tried the sync again, and now THAT song also failed to sync. Thus - it sure does not look like a problem with my mp3 files, but some sort of problem with iTunes.

I followed all the steps there, but have yet to achieve success. I have also followed every iTunes upgrade since I started - I am currently at 9.2.1.5.
I also have an iPod Touch, and it experiences the same symptoms, thus once again pointing to iTunes not the device. I even went through the process of restoring my Touch to factory settings, and that did not help. I even upgraded my Touch to 4.0, still no change. With this restore to factory settings, all the music on my Touch was wiped out, and unfortunately now NONE of my songs sync - which includes the almost 300 other songs that were synced perfectly fine before I did the restore.
After the restore - photos, videos, etc. all synced fine - it is just music that has this problem. I do not suspect my USB connection as a result (some of my videos are very large) I have over 10GB free on my 1 GB Touch, and much more than that on my 32 GB iPhone.
I am really stuck here - everything else is working but I can not get any new songs, and I am afraid of doing too much more in case I lose the songs I already have.
