ITunes hangs after loading, un/reinstall does not help

Hello. I use iTunes on a Win 7 desktop, 64 bit version. When I click the iTunes icon, it loads, then it hangs. I cannot even scroll the subscribed podcasts. The task manager indicates it's not responding, and it will do so until I force stop the program (end process). I just updated iTunes today. I'm not able to access the version in the current operating state. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. Any clue what's happening? Thanks!

Uninstalling Bonjour seems to have fixed the lockup for me.  However it is still ridiculously slow. Something to do with Podcasts is seriously awry.
Just trying to download a single Podcast from my library and my ipod, and iTunes takes more than 10 seconds to even respond, and I then have to delete them twice before they actually get deleted.
I will make a separate thread about it, but all this Cloud functionality is just making iTunes slower and slower, and I wish you could 100% turn it off.

    Is this occurring on launch? Can you post a screenshot? This isn't an error I recall being reported before.

  • Xfce broken completely and reinstall does not help...

    I installed Xfce and it was working just fine until I got a strange error with unmounting a usb stick. After that the Xfce panel somehow disappeared after reboot. I don't remember exactly what I did, but now it is completely broken - I see only the "tips and tricks" window after login. No panel, no wallpaper - just nothing.
    I removed xfce4 and xfce4-goodies completely and wiped all relevant config files, which I managed to find. Then I installed xfce again and it does not help!

    Try deleting anything related to xfce in your home directory and start xfce again, also do not save the session, I have found that saving the session can cause problems like this.

  • Every time I open a website other than Google, the page pretends to reload after loading and then does not fully load.

    In both Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 4.0 when I open pages such as wincustomize.com, as soon as the page loads, the page goes blank as if it is reloading. However, although the URL of the website stays the same, and the page seems to continue working, the page never loads. However, when I open pages such as Google.com, the page opens as normal. Also, if i stop the pages loading after it is almost finished, then it does not switch pages. How can I fix this?

  • After this install product says not latest install. Reinstalling does not help.

    Have latest download installed. On boot up get message not latest program. When asked do I want toupdate, I check yes.
    Get new features screen.
    When I leave this screen still get into loop of saying not latest etc

    This - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Firefox Start Page used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox. I don't think it is being maintained by Google and Google assumes that you are using an older version of Firefox.
    Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same.

  • B210e Inksystem failure, Turn off and on to resolve after cleaning heads. Does not help

    Currently usinga B210e Printer, had paper jam and removed jam.  Now I have an error message saying INK System Failure
    Completed trouble shooting guide by HP, even clean head, reassembled and still have Ink system failure message along with Turn off and turn on message which does nothing after hours of frustration.  Have throughly inspected printer and cleaned head printer readies itself and then tells me turn of and on.  Have removed elctrical plug from wall and still nothing.  Please help if you can as I am about to throw printer under an eighteen wheeler.

    Hi Wilcodd,
    I understand that your printer has an alphanumeric error message.  An alphanumeric error message means your printer has a hardware issue.  If the steps in the document below are not able to resolve your issue then you will have to consider replacing your printer.

  • I use firefox 29on mac since updade I cant use search bar/google. if type address inaddressbar ok. uninstall and reinstall does not help

    I updated Firefox yesterday since than I can't do google search from searchbar. Most addresses when typed into addressbar directly are working but not all. All bookmarks are working fine.
    If I type www.google.com in the address bar I'm forced to install flashplayer ( I will not!!)
    If I however type in www.google.co.za i can serch in the folloing search window

  • MBP dead after sleep - SMC reset does not help

    The MBP was used for watching a video in the car the other day, was put to sleep by closing the lid, and now it won't come on again.
    When I press the button on the battery, two dots light up, so I guess there's enough battery left to start it. However, when I connect the power adaptor, the charging light never switvches to orange - it stays on green.
    And a press on the power button dosen't do anything.
    I tried an SMC reset without success.
    What now?
    Please tell me there's other things to try?! I've recently had it for repair twice. Once because the keyboard connector beneath the battery needed to be reseated (I changed hard drive at the same time) at last week the NVIDIA video card problem had to be fixed (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377).

    They took it back, changed the logic once more, and now it seems to work again. Hopefully a little bit longer than the 24 hours the previous one worked.
    It seems like all programs runs unaffected although the whole logic board is changed. I believe that I would have had to reinstall everything if I were on a Windows machine, at least that's how it worked a few years ago.

    MSVCR is Microsoft Virtual Creator. It's an MS dirivitive of Java.
