Itunes has app, not on ipad

we have one apple device, an ipad 3.
App Sam's Club for iPad gave me problems by continously showing "Loading", so I deleted the app, and reloaded several times.
Now iTunes shows we have app and will not let me delete it in iTunes.
The IPad shows we do not have the app, even after sync
iPad will not let me install Sam's Club is it is too large and iTunes will not let me install it because it says we already have it.
It is like our sync got permanently out of sync.
Any solutions for us?

found that I can delete the app in itunes under Library - Apps, which got rid of Sam's Club for iPad.
Then I could re download it, which I did and then with a sync, it is on the iPad.
but we still have the Loading problem where it seems to be in a loop, showing Loading for over 10 minutes now.
Also found that I can STOP an iPad app with double click home button, hold app icon and click minus in icon corner.  This is good news to me.
Thanks for your help.

itunes has disappeared from my ipad. how to get it back?

You don't have iTunes (per se) on the iPad. There is a Music app which is an orange icon. Native apps cannot be deleted, but in the event that it has somehow disappeard you could go to Settings > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

  • Deleted the iTunes Store app from my ipad

My student deleted the iTunes Store app from my iPad. How do I get it back??

It might do (but I don't know much about configuration profiles). The other options in the Settings > General > Restrictions screen are ok e.g. if you don't have a restrictions code set then they are all 'green' and greyed out e.g.
and if you do have a restrictions code set then the slider on each setting be changed e.g.
Do you know if anybody else with an iPad with iOS 7 on it has the same problem ?

  • TS1702 What to do when you get "iTunes library app not installed on iPhone; app could not be found"

What to do when you get "iTunes library app not installed on iPhone; app could not be found". None of the Apple suggestions fix the problem. For example, with Animoto, one of the problem apps, I have removed it, reinstalled it, and still get the eoor message.

    Of course.
First of all, this started when an external drive i was using died on me. I have no doubt that these apps indeed are off my system. I figure between the apps I've bought for myself and my kid, I have about 150 apps.
    Now. The issue.
When I sync my iPad with iTunes on my desktop, it goes through normally until it gets to the apps. When that happens, it get an error box that reads "Some of the apps in your iTunes library were not installed on the iPad because one or more errors occurred. For a list of appps that could not be installed, click on the triangle below."
Then I get a list of apps.
(Added note to any iTunes developers out there: The titles of the apps in this list do not always match the titles of the apps in the App Store. For example, one was called "MuseumGame" on my iPad. It's called "Museum of Thieves" on the App Store. I started out with a list of 60 apps. It was a major pain to track them all down. It would be nice to have everything the same so I can use the App Store search more effectively.)
    Anyway, moving on....
The error message stops my sync until I dismiss it. That, honestly, is what makes this whole thing annoying enough to seek out an answer. I can't let my iPad start syncing and walk out of the room. Yeah. I know. First World problems.
Once I dismiss the error, the sync continues and all is well.
I did the following to try to fix the problem. Mostly, I did a lot of searches:
My list of purchased apps on my iPad both using the search box and by going to every page
Searched the main App Store on my iPad using the search field. When that didn't work, I used wider searches and just scanned the page(s) for the little cloud icon that showed I had purchased the app.
I got on my desktop iTunes and searched the apps from there (without a lot of hope, but trying to be complete)
At that point, I came to the conclusion that a small number of the apps are no longer available on the App Store.
Fine. I didn't want them anyway.
I got into iTunes and went to the Apps page. None of the errant apps showed up there. I searched the iTunes help files. Nothing. I crossed my fingers, said a little prayer to the search engine gods, and tried Google. I found some things that sort of matched but they basically boiled down to "re-download the app from the App Store" or "Restore your iPad".
So I spent a couple of hours restoring my iPad. I got the error message again. I hit Google again and came up with this thread. It was as close to my problem as I found.
I think that brings us up to date.
My fundamental problem is that I seem to have found a scenario where if you have to restore apps (because, perhaps, your external drive died) and some of the apps are no longer available for download, there is an error generated that can not be permanently dismissed.
    Did I miss anything important?

  • Is there a way to link or create a widget that links back to the iTunes U app on your iPad from your iBook?

Is there a way to link or create a widget that links back to the iTunes U app on your iPad from your iBook?
I have already found the Apple Widget Builder (http://widgets.itunes.apple.com/builder/) and that works fine if you want to link to the "App Store", but I want to know if there is a way to "open an app" that is already installed on the iPad instead of double tapping the home button to switch between apps. (I know using the home button is very simple, but I am trying to find an even easier way to just "tap a widget" or "link" that will open iTunes U right up) I am only asking if this is possible for people who may have a hard time running an iPad at the beginning.
    I appreciate any help, thanks!

I appreciate your help, but I had already looked at LinkMaker and I thought that was my answer, but as far as I could tell that still only links to an app in the app store. Yes it will link to iTunes U in the app store and you can then hit Open, but that is too drawn out of a process. We would like to know a way to just open the app directly.
    Thank you!

  • Can not connect to web, itune or apps from my ipad

I just updated my ipad and now I can not get on the web, into itunes or apps.  What did I do wrong?

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

  • Itunes store app not working

Anyone else having problems getting onto the itunes store. Not working at all on either of my ipads or phone, just a plain white screen and the spinning circle at the top? Noticing lots of little glitches lately, letting standards slip a little I think. May look elsewhere on next contract renewal.
Just noticed App store is the same. Have reset devices, logged off account and logged in again etc etc. Must be apple for it to be on more than one device?

    Hi, Camacho714.
There are a couple of things you can try.  Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device.  Second, would be to reset all settings.  Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings.
If the issue persists, try signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in.

  • ITunes Store App not on iPad1

The iTunes Store app DOES NOT exist on my husband's old iPad1 that I am trying to reconfigure for my son.  I can't get it in the App Store.  In the Music app, pressing the Store button does nothing.  My husband says there never was an iTunes Store app on this device.  It doesn't matter if that's possible or not, the real question is how can my son get things from the iTunes store?  It seems that he would never be able buy music directly from this iPad.  My old iPad 1 DOES have an iTunes Store app on it.
    Any explanation and solution?
    Thanks

    Check: Settings - General - Restrictions - iTunes Store = ????

  • HT5100 How to get iTunes U files from iTunes to the iTunes U app, not music app

I've downloaded a full iTunes U course on my iMac using iTunes. I have an iPad and iPhone bothe with the iTunes U app. All software is up to date. The course is viewable on my Mac and in the music app on my iOS devices but not the iTunes U app. How can they all sync?

All you need to do is the following:
    1. Select iTunes U tab from your ipod in itunes
    2. Check the box next to "Sync iTunes U" at the top
    3. Make sure the box next to "Automatically include" is UNCHECKED
    4. Select any course; check every box in the right menu.
    5. Click "Apply" at the bottom right of screen.
***If you notice the percent of your videos may increase (at the bottom of the screen that shows the percentage of your music and videos, etc.), don't worry because after it is done syncing it will fix itself.
    6. Look at your ipod menu on the left toolbar...iTunes U should show up. At this point you can sync all courses and they will appear in this menu.
    7. NOW you can delete them.
For some reason it doesn't work to sync automatically, so if you have a lot of courses, then it ***** for a bit, but at least you don't need to erase your entire ipod.

  • I have updated my iPad to new version 6.0 how do I change the language my iTunes and apps now Spanish , iPad bought in uk , I live in Spain

I Live in Spain but iPad bought in uk, just carried out version 6.0 update and now iTunes and App Store in Spanish how do I change it back to English ?!

As long as the apps and ibooks are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Multiple iPad Mini's in one home.  All connect to iTunes and the App Store except one.  Used to work fine until recently.  What's up?

    Hi WinstonBaby,
If you are having an issue with connecting to the iTunes and App stores on your iPad, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
Can't connect to the iTunes Store - Apple Support
Specifically the section titled "Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch."
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • I can't get into iTunes or apps on my iPad or iPhone. It never excepts my password and tells me to reset my password. Well I have changed my password about 15 times and still I have trouble entering iTunes or apps.

I am having problems getting into iTunes and Apps. The message says for security you must request a new password. I have changed my password so many times I have given up on iTunes and Apps

    Don't fight it
Walk it into the nearest Apple Store and ask for help there....it's their job
