The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Resolved!
After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

I am having trouble accessing my purchases and upgrades for apps.
One Error message is

To authorise this computer for itmes purchased from the iTunes Store choose Store>Authorise this computer.
Then This message appears
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
This also came up last night while I had my iPad connected to the computer. Can someone please tell me what has happened and how I can fix it. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes.Did you ever get an answer?

well i have found that i needed to not just uninstall itunes, but also apple mobile device support, bonjour apple software update and apple application support - uninstall all these and then install itunes - that seesm to have fixed it, though now i am sync fail - that's a different matter perhaps

This week my browser has stopped allowing me to open and view PDF downloads whether they are from a website or an e-mail. I am no longer given the save or open option when accessing these file types.
Try going to "Tools" at the top of your screen. Then go to "options" and then to "applications". Scroll down the list of "Content type" until you come to Adobe Acrobat Document. Click on the "action" to the right of this line item and choose Adobe Acrobat (or whichever program you want to open the document with). And then click "OK" at the bottom of the screen.
Sometimes when you install a Firefox update, it will delete this setting, and then you have to go back in here to re-set your preferences. -
We have an itunes account on our desktop and both my kids have it on iphone and ipod. I went in and changed out user name from an old e-mail address which is no longer accessible to my one I use now... When the kids try to sign onto the itunes store it tells them they have the wrong user name..
Can this be fixed??Did you change the email address or create a new Apple ID?
If the email address associated with the account was merely changed, sign out of the Apple ID on the devices and sign in using the new credentials. -
I just recently updated the software on my ihpone 4 to the iOS 7 and now my iTunes Store does not work. All of my other apps work perfectly fine except iTunes. Whenever I open the app, the icons for music and movies and tv shows come up, but when I touch them, nothing happens. The screen is just blank. And I already tried updating again, updating iTunes on my computer, turning my iphone off and on, and resetting my ihpone, and nothing works. Can anyone help?
I searched this site for ios 7 and itunes store and found numerous others with the same problem, and several suggested solutions. One said that they had blocked all cookies and that was apparently the problem. I had done the same thing - blocked all cookies. So I set cookies back to "third parties and advertisers" and that solved the problem. Now the itunes store is working.

The specs on my computer are correct for GPU acceleration. It has been working fine but my RAID 0 drive failed and I replaced it and now Premiere no longer recgonizes it. I am assuming I need to reset something but I can't figure it out. What do I do?

itunes worked fine until I tried to download the most recent version. Now it won't open at all.I am having a similar issue. It keeps asking for Quick Time version 7.5.5 and then shuts down. Are you getting any errors messages or is just a few bounces in the dock and then shut down?

I upgraded to iOS 7 the other day and everything worked fine. Today I noticed I can no longer open the iTunes app on my phone. I used it yesterday to download a few songs and today it gives me a white screen with menu tabs on the bottom that also do not open. I have tried every suggestion and read all the official apple support items and none of it works. Anyone else have this problem or have it fixed after you had the same problem?

I have windows 7 and all has been fine until 2 days ago when suddenly i turned on my laptop and i got some error message about some apple support program error - i didnt tkae notice of it only that i couldnt run itunes, so i uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and it now runs as normal, but now it wont recognise my ipad saying that 64bit version is not installed - WHAT RUBBISH IS THIS? i downloaded and installed the 64bit version from applie and yet the error persists - can some one please tell me how i can get itunes to recognise my ipad again - this seems like such a ridiculous error for these two apple products to be conflicting with each other - please help

The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

Suddenly,my IPad and iPhone stopped printing to my canon AirPrint printer. Both pc and Mac print wirelessly ok so signal is there. IPad and iPhone both get "no AirPrint printer found" message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
