ITunes has unselected all of my songs in my Music Library. How do I make iTunes SELECT and CHECK all the songs in my Music Library?
I've just upgraded iTunes and iOS 5.1. Suddenly iTunes has UNSELECTED every song in my music library. When I pick "Select All" from the drop-down menu, all the songs are HIGHLIGHTED, but none of them are CHECKED. I can't manually check every song in my library. How do I get iTunes to SELECT and CHECK songs in my Music Library?

My MacBook Pro HD crashed. It is all up and runmning except for one issue. I have about 200 songs on my iPhone but have only gotton 53 back on my laptop from my iPhone and those are the songs I purchased via iTunes. How do I get the rest of the songs from my iPhone back onto my HD.
The songs I'm not able to import casme from CD's. Nothing from napster etc.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

I have copied my iTunes library onto a new computer, but when I play back the songs using the new computer, there seems to be random "miss" or "drop out" during play back, similar to a small scratch on a vinyl record. Although when I play the same song over again, the "miss" occurs in a different location during the song. No probs with old computer, just the new one. I'm onto my third new computer - same problem. Any suggestions please?
You don't say which version of iTunes you are using, but the symptoms you describe have been encountered by some users with the 64-bit version of iTunes 12.1.
There is an alternative version for 64-bit editions of Windows here:

that seems to address the most of the playback issues that some users have been reporting with the full 64-bit version of 12.1.0.77 - including problems with Bluetooth speakers where either sound is degraded or completely absent. The alternative installer here is the same architecture as most previous "64-bit" versions of iTunes, i.e., a 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer. The "for older video cards" label appears to be something of a misnomer as some people have reported that this corrects problems found on current / high-spec systems.
Some users have reported that after installing this alternative version it is necessary to adjust the "Play audio using" selection (normally to "Direct Sound" rather than "Windows Audio Session", though this may vary based on your audio hardware/drivers) in Edit > Preferences > Playback to restore glitch-free audio (one part of the reported symptoms is that the "Direct Sound" choice isn't available, usually in Windows 8). It may also be necessary to ensure that your Bluetooth speakers are active and selected as the default audio device before you run iTunes.

In your situation I would recommend the steps in the following article for troubleshooting iTunes. It may be necessary to completely remove and reinstall iTunes in this situation. Hi. As to me to deactivate 5 computers on which my account in iTunes has been activated. If I at present don't have access to these computers. And on them I didn't do deactivation. On it I can't activate now the computer!

can I delete an album from my computer and re-download from my purchases? I bought an album and some of the songs only play partof the way through and some won't play at all. One of them says this computer is not authorized to play this trac.
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks only from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I preordered One Direction's album a few weeks ago, and one of the songs became available. It didn't go into my library or purchased list, and it says 'purchased'.
This is actually a really common problem with pre-orders right now, seems to be on Apple's end. Songs won't be added to users' libraries as they become available... for instance I pre-ordered the new Foo Fighters album and each time a new song has been released from it I've eventually been forced to cancel my pre-order and start it again because those songs not only WON'T auto-download, but they don't even appear in the purchased section in iTunes. They only show as having been "pre-ordered" in the album page on iTunes, with no way to actually download them... and the user isn't even charged for the new song, so it's as if the pre-order is frozen. This has happened for SEVERAL pre-orders I've had in the last few months, to the point where I'm hesitant to ever pre-order again, as it literally serves no purpose. Two times now I've had the entire album become available, only to NOT download or be added to my library in any way. I ended up (as I said before) canceling my order and starting over. It's really a pain.

I bought and downloaded TobyMac's new CD Eye On It the deluxe version and half of the songs are either messed up, cut off in the middle of the song, or will not play at all. I have Tried to re-download it but itunes tells me that i have to buy it again.
Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!
