Itunes HD movie download: -50 error message

hi there!
last nite i purchased an HD movie from Itunes on my mac. when i woke up this morning, the download had timed out. 2.29G of 2.54G had been downloaded... so close!?!? there was a '-50 unknown error' message on my screen saying that maybe my internet connection had been interrupted and to try again.
so i restarted my mac and tried to resume the download... and the same -50 error message popped up again. the internet connection seems fine too. i gave up after the 5th time. ugh.
does anyone know what i should do next?

Thanks for the reply. You are right. In the description of the movie Four Lions under Language is states
Enlish (United Kingdom) (Stereo)
I actually thought all HD movies were in at least 5.1. I guess I have learnt something.

ITunes 8.2 download problem error message

Am running windows vista and logged in under administrator account. Tried to download itunes 8.2 both from a "clean install" (deleted existing itunes files, temp folders, uninstalled all versions of itunes and quicktime) and with my existing itunes software but getting an error message "could not access network location %APPDATA%\.
PS. If there is a problem with itunes 8.2 and not my PC, anyway to get an older version of itunes back on my pc?

iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.
Upgrade OS X on your Mac.

If you end up having to remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS, make sure to follow the steps closely, including the order in which you uninstall.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Application, won't install normally.
