Itunes hookup for push notifications

I updated my IPhone 4S to the IOS7. But now my IMessage and Facetime won't work. Also when I open up any App, a will get a pop up saying that I need to Connect to iTunes to use Push notifications and it will keep popping up no matter how mny times i push okay. Any suggestions?

Yes, all apps that support push notifications have sound turned on.
Specifically, I'm seeing alerts but no sound from things like Mint, Foursquare, and Facebook apps.
(Although, Facebook just launched push notifications into the app, and those notifications are working intermittently.... but not with sound, at any rate.)

In most cases, i can just click ok to this prompt and carry on, but it is still a real nuisance. However with the app dropbox and find my phone, I can not get out of the prompt. Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

so i have the same problem for two of my apps, one is biike race, and the other game is snap chat. so each time i open one of these games i repeatedly get the "connect to itunes for push notifications" box coming up, and im unable to play the game, and i have to click my home button multiple times to get back to the main screen. i dont understand why this is happening and maybe you could help me out.

This pop-up started for me after upgrading to iOS 4. I did the restore to factory, reinstalled my apps and the problem returned. It appears my push notifications are working, which is good, but I have to click through the pop-up every time I enter an app that uses notifications.
This will go away when Apple fixes it.

I downloaded the new update last night! Everytime I open a app like FB or my Game etc. a box apears with Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications. I have them set in settings.

Im going CRAZY! I have the 3GS and I recently updated it to the OS4.2.1
Since then most my apps get me the message
"Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications"
I have tried connecting and syncing more than once and it still says it!
Also when i now go to the YouTube app it NOW says
"Cannot Connect to YouTube"
And finally after syncing my apps the new ones I downloaded on my computer are NOT showing up on the phone??? And I have 7 apps that cant update via phone because of the size BUT the update isnt showing on iTunes...
I need help cause its driving me NUTS!!!

HT4623 "Connect to itunes for push notifications" appear on the Whatapps screen repeatedly after my iPhone 4 was upgraded with IOS 7.0.4.

After my iPhone 4 was upgraded to IOS 7.0.4, some of the apps cannot be used instantly as before. For example, the Whatapps does not alert unless I open the apps manually. Then a message "Connect to itunes for push notifications" appear. Even I tried connect to itunes for sync again, this problem still cannot be resolved. The same problem applies to some other apps like Runkeeper. Don't know why.

Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

First, I would try this and see if it applies to your situation:
To use certain services, iTunes must download and install an authentication token on the device. Because iPad and iPod touch do not require an active Internet connection to activate, these tokens may not be downloaded and installed during initial setup.
You can resolve this issue by verifying that iTunes has an active Internet connection. Use the following steps:
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
Verify that your Mac or PC has an active Internet connection by accessing the iTunes Store in iTunes.
Connect your iPad or iPod touch to your Mac or PC.
After the sync completes, verify you can access YouTube.
Note: iTunes 9.1 or later is required when using iPad.

Apps in iTunes disappear; 'Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications'

Right, I synced my iphone up a while back to add a song to my phone.
Since then, I've had several problems I have yet to resolve:
1) I keep getting 'Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications.'
I searched through the forums and have yet to find a solution, nothing seems to work. Tried changing sims, rebooting/resyncing, messing with the notifications, etc., etc., etc. Nothing has worked.
2) I keep getting a notification when I try to do anything from my Macbook to my iphone that says my phone is not synced to my library, would I like to sync to my library now' or something to that effect. It doesn't matter how many times I add it, it will not recognise it.
3) All the apps I had downloaded that are associated with my iPhone, my iTouch, and my iPad have deleted themselves. I plug in the iPhone, all it recognises is the apps it came with, nothing else.
The iPad and iTouch are not giving the pop up for the Push Notifications because I have not synced them in a while.
Phone is a 3gs, running 5.1.1. I would prefer not to upgrade to the 6.0 if possible, I have heard terrible things about the upgrade from friends and would really prefer not to upgrade until all the bugs are fixed. Also, I'm reading other posts online that say they're still having the problem after upgrading to 6.0, and I don't want extra frustrations with the upgrade as well as all this. iPhone is NOT jailbroken, has never been jailbroken.
Macbook Pro is running 10.6.8.
iTunes is running the newest version 10.7
Some of you must have had this problem, any help would be appreciated, that pop-up for Push Notifications is really driving me insane.

IOS7 - Message "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications"

Since upgrading to the iOS7 on my iPhone, I keep getting the message "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications" in certain applications, and I cannot cancel out of this message as it continually pops up. The only way I can exit the app is by shutting down the phone and restarting it.
I am also experiencing difficulties connnecting to iMesssage. In Settings, iMessage: there is a message that says "Waiting for activation" and when I "Use my Apple ID to sign in" I get the message "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again" but my network connection is fine because I can access Safari.
PLEASE HELP. This is extrememly frustrating.

I have now followed multiple instructions from this and other forums. have turned push notifications off. Turned them on. Have updated to IOS 6. Have signed out and signed back in, have uninstalled all magazines and reinstalled. Have synced, and updated everything in iTunes.
Nothing works,. Also cannot use youtube.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
It might also be a good idea to contact Square for assistance.

My iPhone 5 was distroyed so I replaced it with a new iPhone 5 yesterday. I did a restore from a backup that i had performed a week ago. When I tried to use the phone several of my apps would not let me in becuase they continually gave me a popup message "Connect to Itunes to use push notifications". I click ok and the popup comes back. I have shut my phone off several times. I have complete closed the apps several times. I have even deleted the apps from my phone and reinstalled. Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.
