ITunes : I can't hear any voice when I play videos, can you?

I'm currently using iTunes as a song/movie/video player.
When I play songs, it seems fine n' the sound is good.
But it doesn't seem so with the videos.
I can't hear any voice coming out when I play movie or video files.
But I can hear it perfectly when I play them in my iPod!?
Every movie and video files are converted to '.mp4'
Is this has anything to do with my problem?
I don't know what's wrong with my iTunes
Any ideas?

hmmmm. okay, let's first try a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.0.4 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, do you get sound with your videos?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

I saw some voice problem messages in the forum but I have different issue. I am an old İphone 3GS user. I have bought a iPhone 4 in Apple Store in Xanadu (Madrid/Spain)when I am in spain for a formal meeting, in Dec.17.2010. Just drop it again in the same way it causes the problem. ( drop it vertically from the height of 10 cm on a carpet)
and know it is working. It is really strange but it solve my problem and it seem the cause is a loose connection.

HT1430 when i make a call the loudspeker sign atou on then can't heare any voice.

When i make a call my phone's loudspeker sign automatic on and can't heare any voice from either end. If loudspeker off also same problem.
I already restart my phone but not solved,bolium adjusted and speker in good condition. only problem when making voice call.

i can not hear the voice when i call, its very poor quality sound i feel, i tried to control with the volume control buttons but still i am unable to increase volume, could you pls advise the solution??

You may try using a different headphone to isolate the issue. And test your headphone as well with a different device like an iPod or other device, if it works then it's with the phone, that may needs service

When I enter video in timeline, does not show on monitor. when I play video, can only hear audio.

So within the past couple of days, when I load video into the timeline it does not come up on screen. When I play video, I can only hear audio. If I click on monitor, I get still frame of video. Also received window saying we have detected an incompatible display driver. Not sure why this has happened all of a sudden....

Does your Premiere Elements 10 run on a computer with a NVIDIA GeForce video card? If so, which specific NVIDIA GeForce card? If your computer is not using a NVIDIA GeForce video card, then that Announcement at the topic of the forum does not apply to you. This particular issue is specific for Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce.
If all that did apply to you, what version of the driver did you roll back to?

If you do not have a NVIDIA Ge Force video card, something else, and you have only one video card, then try deleting the BadDrivers.txt file. In your Windows 7 64 bit, the path to it should be

and in the 10.0 Folder is the BadDrivers.txt file that you delete. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.

I can hear any sound when i play movies, music and for any alerts. what can be the cause?

I've finished watching a movie on my computer last friday and shut down it. All has been so well. Yesterday nigh, I started it but I didn't hear the starting alert submitted by window 7. I tried hear a music but I was also unable to hear any sound both in media player, itunes and VLC that I use like media reader.
I maked a test, all speackers are running and are not muted.
How can I solve this problem please. Any help

Can't hear receivers voice when I'm calling.

Today I suddenly got this problem with my iPhone 4. When I try to call someone, I don't get this usual calling sound, but I can see that I'm calling. When the receiver picks up I can't hear his/her voice, and he/she can't hear mine... When other people call me its the same thing, except then THEY can hear me, but I still can't hear them. I can only hear them when i use the speaker instead.
I've tried to restart my phone without success. I've also tried to restore it, but that didn't work either.
Anyone experiencing the same problem? I have no idea what to try next.
(And sorry if my english is very bad... Norwegian girl over here!)

Hi. Hoping someone can assist me?
I have PAP2T and connected to my system XP, i can make a call but i can't hear the other party voice but they can hear my voice without any problem!
so, i can make calls without any problems but i can't hear the other paty voice!

sounds to me like a RTP stream problem.
Check your NAT / port forwarding rules, make sure all ports :
5060, 5061, 16384-16482 are forwarded to your PAP2T on the NAT router.

I can not hear any voice from the ear piece with my new Iphone 5. I don't know why.

I just used the new iphone 5 for one week. Now, I found I can not hear anything from the ear piece. The speaker is ok, but it dose not work on the earpiece.
I use it very carefully, I even use a good case for it.

Did you remove the plastic protector that came on the front of the device?

I Can't montitor my voice when i record nor can i hear anything from the speakers when i press playback. Someone help me!

I tried everything. I checked my input and output systems. My microphone works as well as my speakers. However, as soon as I try to record or playback a recording no sound is heard through the speakers! What gives?! What's the point of have tech if you can't use it!!!!!

You need to set up your audio hardware preferences.
Go to Edit/Preferences/Audio Hardware and make sure that your "Default Input Device" is set to be your microphone and the "Default Output Device" is set to be the sound card/speakers on your computer.
However, this is where the limitation of using USB mics and onboard sound cards shows up--using a "proper" sound card and XLR microphone would allow you to set up a headphone or speaker mix in the interface itself. Using a USB mic and built in sound card means your audio will have to do a round trip through your computer for you to monitor on your speakers or headphones--this will introduce some latency/delay. To set up this sort of round trip monitoring, do your recording in the Audition Multitrack view and click on the the little "I" button (next to the "R" record arm button) on the track header. This lets you monitor the input to that track and feed it back to your speakers or headphones.
