ITunes in the Cloud songs aren't appearing in iTunes on my computer.

I had my icloud songs in my song list and now they're gone.  What gives?

To show all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any hidden items use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.

    The import command only works with audio CDs. So if you burned the files in mp3 format, try instead using the "File > Add file to library" or "File > Add folder to library" commands.

  • I recently had to set my laptop back to factory settings, thus had to reinstall Itunes.  I connected my Ipod to the lap top my songs went back to my Itunes but when I add new songs and try to sync my Ipod, the new songs won't appear on my Ipod.  Help me!!

    These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
    Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer.

    To download songs from your iCloud library to a computer:
    In iTunes, select Music (below Library).
    If a song is available for download, it has a Download button next to it. To download the song, click the Download button.You can also play a song that’s available for downloading by double-clicking it. The song downloads as it plays.

    The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.2 (Mountain Lion preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
    To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mountain Lion, provided it meets the requirements.
    The requirements for Lion are:
    Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
    To purchase it you will have to ring Apple at the number given at the bottom left of this page.

  • When i purchase movies and they are held in the cloud and i want to download them to my computer it gives me an error message

    You're welcome.  If it turns out to that he purchased them, and you don't want to see them in your library, you can turn this off by going to Edit>Preferences>Store in iTunes and unchecking "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases".  (If you don't see the Edit menu in iTunes, you may need to turn on the iTunes menus as discussed here: iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7).

    you need to make sure itunes match is disabled in the two locations on your ipad. first is in settings>itunes & app store. the other is in settings>music. hope that works for you.

  • After my last Iphone update many of my songs in my library play and 10 to 20 seconds before the song ends skip to the next song.  Whether I play it on my computer or on my Iphone this occurs. Can any body tell me how to fix this???

    Since my last Itunes update my library of songs has many songs that stop short of the finish and skip to the next selection.  It is that way on my computer and also on my Iphone where I normally play the songs.  Same repeatable stop with the particular song that is affected.  How do I fix????

    Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.

    * Doesn't it seem strange (maybe I'm not finding this option as it's hidden some place?) that there aren't boxes allowing you to select what action you clearly want to take?

New user (last two years) or for a 7 year old who opens up itunes to any catagory listed, for this exsample their iPhone's hooked up and connected currently what I view it appears iTunes will sync the two but where is it stated clearly what will be over written and what will be replacing it?     Solution for persons such as myself; picture a white plain screen opening up in the catagory you choose (I'll use music) uncluttered no links taking you inadvetaintly to a screen pitching me something from Apple just all my music catagorized by iTunes the way in which I selected it to be by checking as many of the choices as I want that are list in the "sort" menu. Now before I hit sync at the top there are 3 empty boxes. Positioned clearly and designed by the marketing department who has every page in the store laid out clear clean and in your face making it impossible to START HERE so to speak, they'd unmistakably be simply labeled with 3 basic choices for you to choose from (a fourth "advanced" could be optional) which would be; Box#1 Do Noithing (Leave as is) Box#2 Sync from Device to iTunes Box#3 Sync from iTunes to Device . What you checked is what action iTunes would take. When you pressed "sync" a box would pop up Asking are you sure you want to it would have the selected boxes action here further assuring you wre doing as you wanted .
    With these on all the things/catagories that iTunes writes over and erases replacing it with what in my experiance usually is incomplete folders or databases of apps, music, movies, podcasts, books etc.? the misinterpretation of the action you want or choose would almost be eliminated from incorrect interpretation of what you actually want to do.
    Please if there's something I can set for all my choices please tell me where and how.
    Addionally without doing it one song at a time does iTunes seperate song artist from title automatically some how or do I have to go song by song cut artist and paste in the correct colum?

    Go to the iTunes folder and work your way down the structure to make sure they really aren't on your computer. I have seen a number of complaints from people that new purchases make their way into iTunes but do not show under music  (also check "recently added").  Of course that's a problem too, but a different one.
    If they really aren't there, try downloading again, then go to Apple.
