ITunes installed but won't let me do iPod updates

I can't use any apps with out the new update. My iPod Touch has become useless... any help? I keep getting errors after 6 hours of letting the update try to run. I have high speed wireless so that shouldn't be the problem. I am not going to be forced to buy a new iPod... this is rediclious. Update is version 4.2. 1, i think the last one I was able to recieve was 3.4 or something. I have a 2nd gen iPod Touch

You had a purchase total of $25.95 but a credit of only $25.00, so the iTunes Store will try to put the extra $.95 on another form of payment before it can process the order. If the card fails, the Store will hold a "balance due". If you redeemed another prepaid card, the amount due would probably be taken out of the total. If you fix the problem with your debit card, the balance due will probably then be automatically billed to the debit card, though I'm not sure.
I don't know why the iTunes Store isn't accepting your Missouri access card, but it's apparent that it's not an iPhone problem. If nothing on this web page:

I was having the same problem with my iMac. Couldn't left click with the wireless mouse, i tried all the steps above to no avail. I then tried to use another mouse, this time bluetooth and still had the same problems. I decided to see if my trackpad, which sits in the corner of my desk and never gets used, and then i realize that my cat is lying on top of the trackpad which was causing my problem the whole time.

I purchased music from Amazon. It downloaded to ITunes Library but won't sync/download to IPod (Nano 4th gen.) Plays with no problem on my Mac Pro but can't get it downloaded to my IPod. How can I resolve?

If you right click on the song it will give you an option such as Create AAC version or Create mp3 version.
To control what option appears Preferences, general.
At the bottom right is a button called import settings. This will start another dailog box where you can choose which encoder to use
Select Mp3 version.
Go back to your song and create an mp3 version and see if that synces

I have an iPod Touch and got a new computer; iTunes is installed, but won't sync with my iPod properly.

I am running the new computer under Windows 7, and have tried to sync my iPod. It uploaded the photos and videos from the iPod, but won't upload the apps or music. The iPod is also not downloading the new music on the iTunes. How can I sync what I have on the iPod to the computer, without losing the settings, apps and music already there?

If you have a 2G iPod those can only go to iOS 4.2.1. A 3G and 4G to the current 5.1.1. A 1G to 3.1.3

TS1420 I updated my ipod to 5.1.1 and now it wont sync downloaded music onto my ipod. All the music I purchased through itunes went on the ipod during backup restore and my downloaded music went into my itunes library but won't sync onto my ipod.

I updated my ipod touch to 5.1.1 and did a system restore. All of my purchased music from itunes went back on along with photos and apps but now it won't let me sync music that I downloaded. All of my music that was imported from cd's synced but not my downloaded music from internet. They went into my itunes library but they are a light gray and have a little sync symbol next to them. I've tried dragging them into different folders but nothing is working. I read that others were having problems with this update but didn't get any answers.

After you have updated your device to version 5.1.1, have you tried resyncing everything from your iTunes yet?

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

ITunes installed, but won't fully open

after downloading and installing iTunes 7.0.2 I try to open the program without much luck. It takes me to the user agreement page, but then and error comes up. The error says, "The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this file is in the "My Music" folder. How do I get passed this so I can run iTunes on this machine?

HT201209 Trying to buy in app purchase. Attempting to use my iTunes credits but won't let me

I have 30 itune credits. When I try yo purchase anything it directs me to sign into my account and tries to charge my credit card. It does not give me the option on my payment methods to pay with itune credits anywhere.

I would try restoring the Nano to factory settings via iTunes. This will clear your iPod's artwork cache and rebuild it. Here are instructions on how to restore your Nano.

ITunes OK but won't sync to my iPod

I don't seem to have lost anything from my iTunes and I can still buy music etc. I just can't synchronise with my iPod. Every time I try, iTunes freezes up and I end up having to close it down.

Looks like you installed SpellCatcher at one time. Uninstall. I'm not sure about the lastest SpellCatcher release today. Both older versions of SpellCatcher and Unsanity's Application Enhancher causes Keynote to fail to launch successfully.
