Itunes Installing Trouble

When i try to install itunes it says itunes was interrupted during install and i have nothing that is interrupting it, all programs are closed someone please help?

that can happen sometimes if the itunes installer is having a hard time shutting down either itunes or quicktime (or applications using quicktime) prior to the install. so let's try a "download, restart, then install strategy."
leave your ipod unplugged.
download and save a copy of the itunes installer to your hard drive. (do not run the install on line, and do not start the install by clicking on the iTunesSetup.exe (installer) file just yet.)
iTunes 7.0.2.16 Installer
shut down running applications and restart the PC.
do not open any other applications prior to attempting the iTunes install. switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
now start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.
does the install go through properly this time?

ITunes instalation trouble!

Okay so I got an ipod th other day and im installing it with the CD, all is fine- iPod gets as far as to create the directory.
Then for iTunes- It gets half way through the "preparing to install" bit and just crashes, every time.
I have cleaned my temp directory and downloaded from the Apple site and used the CD, no idea as to what to do!

Let me just start off by saying, I have been using iTunes for almost four years; I love the program. Recently, my friend left the country about a month and a half ago (he was the computer expert), I have been unable to access iTunes for about a week now based on the following error with Windows Vista: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT, version="8.0.50727.4053:, type="win32,publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e8e3b",processor Architecture="x86". It told me to refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070422.
I am no computer guru, I have no idea what this means or who can fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes over 10 times. Additionally, Apple Mobile Device Support will not uninstall. When I do get iTunes and Quicktime installed it tells me that I am missing CoreAudio.dll, CoreVideo.dll, and CoreAudioToolbox.dll; once again, I am not a computer guru, I have no idea what this means. Please help, I have over 8200 songs downloaded and over 200 videos that I cannot properly access without iTunes. Thank you.

These ones are usually caused by an underlying problem on the PC that can also stop Windows Updates from installing. So my main strategy with them is to try to get the Windows update trouble fixed, which usually clears up the iTunes install trouble +en passant.+
Open your Windows Update and open your Update History. Have Windows Updates been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the failures showing up in your update history. In the small box that comes up, what error code is shown for the Windows Update failures? Is it an 0x80070422 like your iTunes install error, or is it a different code? If they are different error codes, what error codes are you getting for the Windows Update failures?

What did I do wrong? I used to have iTunes installed on this computer and lost it when it crashed. No I can't get past a certain point in the installation point. I keep getting an error message stating that I need to verify that I have access to this file

Help!! What's going wrong here. I used to have iTunes installed on this computer but lost it when it crashed. I've tried re-installing it numerous times but I keep getting the same error message. "Error writing to file: C:\ProgramFiles\iTunes.Resources\es.lproj\iPadLicense.rtf. Verify that you have access to that directory." I know I have access to that directory because on a different computer I can sync my iPad and iPhone. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to go in and authorize or turn on? That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

How can I view my full billing history for the app and music stores without iTunes installed?

I just received an email receipt from Paypal showing a $12.99 purchase from iTunes. I almost NEVER purchase anything over around five dollars in the app or music store. Since PayPal does not show what this purchase was for, I have not received the receipt from Apple yet, and I cannot find anyway to look up online what this purchase was for....I need help to find out ASAP what this purchase was. If my account has been compromised or if I have been incorrectly charged for something, I would like to get the issue handled immediately. I do not want to install iTunes on my PC (nor should I have to for Pete's sake), but I cannot see anything recent at all in my app or music history on my iPad (not that I would ever purchase anything for $12.99 anyway...I just don't). i had a dell pc and had itunes installed in my pc. i recently just bought a macbook pro. i want to know if there is a way, outside of just saving the music on a hard drive and uploading it to mac, to send it through my itunes account or something.

You can use the homes are feature butmi don't think you would get the transfer rate you would want.
You can also create a network between the two systems .
The fastest way I have found to move the library is to use an external drive.

ITunes installed on a new drive with music on an old drive: how to keep the music data?

I had iTunes installed on my old HDD with all my music on it. It was the drive C:\
I just installed a new SSD (now the C:\ drive) in my computer. I also installed iTunes on it. I want to leave my music on my old HDD (now the G:\ drive). I can scan with iTunes for my music on my old G:\ drive, but that means I won't have the star ratings nor the play count...
I tried to copy and paste the iTunes Library.xml from my old G:\ to my new C:\. When I opened iTunes, it had all my music and the data, but I had to locate manually every single song (in a 7000+ songs library, this is a bit of a problem).
Is there a way to edit the iTunes_library.xml file to change the path of every song in it (from C:\ to G:\) since this seems to be the issue? Or how could I keep my music on my G:\ drive and itunes on my C:\ drive while keeping my music data?

Thank you for providing so much information about what is going on. It sounds like you have your iTunes Library on your G:\ drive, but it sounds like iTunes is not opening iTunes Library.itl file on the external drive. Follow these steps to point iTunes to your G:\ drive:
Steps to create or choose a different iTunes Library file
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you are using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu and choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
You should see the following screen:
Additional information
If you do not see the screen above, then you did not hold the correct key at the correct time. You may want to try again. Note that if you pinned iTunes to the Start menu programs, and open it that way, it may not work.
Once you select "Choose Library," you will need to navigate to the iTunes Library.itl file on your new external drive.
