ITunes iPhone app - wish list?

I buy quite a lot music through iTunes store, and when I browse new music I use the "Wish list" function as a purchase basket. This function however, is not available from the iPhone iTunes app.
Am I the only one who need this function?

You're not alone... I've tried everything to get my wish list over to my iphone with no success... if you find a convenient way please let me know...

App Wish List

Is there a way to view my Wish List, specifically for Apps, on my iPad or iPhone? I can't view it in the App Store app or the iTunes app on either device. Would think it would be a good idea.

Wish lists for developers would be different. Since they are outside companies that develop the apps, I would think you might be able to choose one of the others ones that supply the performance information and let them know what you are thinking.

App wish list - black box recorder

This might have to wait for the multitasking OS 4.0 but it would be very useful to set my iPhone up on the dash of the car and record video (in say a 1 minute loop) along with GPS co-ordinates and accelerometer readings for the entire trip. The video clip would be saved by either the user pressing a button or a preset acceleration level being exceeded.
In other words, a portable black box recorder for the car. There would need to be a Mac application to process and analyse the data from the iPhone.
There are car performance apps for the iPhone that record acceleration and braking but this goes further - recording video and GPS.
BTW - I have not come across an Apple discussion page/section that is a wish-list for apps. There is so much great work being done on App development but it seems there is very little opportunity for iPhone users to say what functions they would like.

HT1766 Forced to bring PC laptop back to factory condition. Reloaded Itunes, Iphone app image on ITunes is faded, unable to manipulate. Right clicking the device & clicking on backup doesn't let me manipulate my data. How do I fix?

Prior to the need to strip my laptop, my Itunes/Iphone backup and synch happened with ease. On the reinstall of Itunes, and the provision of my ID and password, I find that I can see a faded (greyed out) version of my apps, but I can't move them within Itunes, which I usually do to pop them in category folders. The songs and ring tones on the Iphone do not show in Itunes either. Any suggestions?
The phone functions fine by itself.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPhone. Only if you back up your device manually before syncing, you can restore it from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Here's what to do:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPhone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPhone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Apps Wish List

Can we have something like what's on the Archos Forum (NOT Oxford educated you know) where users can submit a wish list and specs for apps ?
This way apps writers could address specific wants, rather than write an app then find a market for it
Admittedly, posters would be giving their ideas for nothing, but then again if they were able to write their own app they wouldn't subscribe to this wish list anyway.
Perhaps this wish list could be subdivided into catagories as per the Apps store.
To start the ball rolling, how about an app that allows the iPhone/iPod Touch to function as a USB stick, as per my Nano. I know there are apps/pc programmes that allow some functionality, but just to be able to use my iphone 3GS as a simple USB stick, like my Nano, would be a boon (1st Boon of the night ?)

Walkman App Wish List And Issues

Wish List
As many downloads now come with a PDF booklet as well as cover art, an option in the Walkman app to display the album PDF (launch in another app ?) would be great.
Will Walkman ever playback Apple lossless .m4a or is this commercially sensitive? I read that Apple may be porting iTunes to Android so that’s maybe food for thought.
If .m4a will never be supported, a reliable and accurate GUI based conversion tool (to FLAC and other formats) that runs on PC and Mac would be great. There is a lot of badly written freeware around for this ! Although I will continue to use a Mac, I will do anything to get away from iTunes (I am not alone !).
I can see a kind of Coverflow feature but it needs to be smoother and faster so you can browse and select this way !
Problems
When I copy my own files to the Walkman, albums with multiple discs in separate folders appear in correct order until disc 10, which then comes out above disc 1 !
An album download from a High Res site had one empty file, which they later supplied and I put in the same folder as the rest. The Walkman app creates a new album folder for the single track, and puts a ‘:’ after the title. Tags are all correct, (including track numbering) and the only differences for this single file are the creation and modification dates.

I doubt that Android will support ALAC, why? well I'm certain that you know how much apple loves android

How delete itunes iphone app

When I've deleted an app from the iphone, synced and then the app displays in itunes unchecked. Is there a way to delete the app from itunes show that the app no longer displays?

1. On your computer, click on iTunes Store on iTunes left Pane, (log in to your account if you are not logged in).
2. Select "Purchased" in the Quick Links menu on the right hand side of the Store home page.
3. Select Apps tab, you should see a list of your downloaded apps on the screen. Mouse over any app that you wish to delete. A small "x" in a round circle will appear in the top left corner of the app icon. Click the "x".
4. A notification will pop up telling you that your purchased app will now be hidden and how you can un-hide it in the future. Click OK. The app will disappear from your purchase history in iTunes and all associated iOS devices instantly.
5. Verify this on your iOS device by navigating to your purchase history in the App Store.

Can I access my iTunes/iPhone apps on a new laptop? Previous laptop lost.

My original iTunes was on my laptop which was stolen. I have recently purchased a new laptop and have received an iPhone 5 upgrade. Can I move music/apps etc. from iPhone 4S > new laptop > iPhone 5?
(If there is a way that doesn't include downloading an odd-looking tool off Google then that would be much appreciated!)

You can't. It can only be viewed on the desktop version of iTunes Store. You have to sign in on the upper right part of the iTunes Store window and there is an line item that shows past receipts.

ITunes iPhone Apps Updates

I can not get the store to update apps, is something besides not enough bandwidth at apple going on? I know 2.2 was released not long ago.

From other threads on the discussion boards there is plenty of people with this so its a definate issue with the app store update servers.
It seems that its timing out due to everyone grabbing the 2.2 firmware.Best advice seems to be try it tomorrow.

ITunes/iPhone App Updates

Has anyone been updating their apps lately? I logged it and it said I had about 12 to update. Then, magically, I clicked on them, and it said there were none to update. Are apps now being updated automatically from the cloud? I haven't synced my phone in about a week, and it said all apps up to date too. I might be mistaken, but has something changed? Anyone else noticed this?

TS4006 I lost my iPad and it's not showing up on the devices list of the Find my iPhone App

I lost my iPad and now it's not showing up on the Find my iPhone App devices list. I just have my iPhone and my iPad on it. I know that the app is enabled on my iPad b/c I have tested it from my iPad in the past. Any ideas why it's not showing up on the devices list? And how can I get it back on my device list so I can find it?

Is the app compatible with the iOS on the phone? Do you have automatic downloads enabled on the phone?

Itunes wish list playlist

I created a wish list playlist (as directed by support site) and accidently deleted it. Whenever I delete anything it goes to the trash. I cannot find this playlist using spotlight. Where would it be? Can I get it back???

Make a playlist and name it wish list, then drag the song from itunes store to that playlist.
You can answer these questions yourself.
If you go to the help feature in itunes and type "wish list" it will tell you how.
