ITunes/iPhone help? not very computer literate
The answer to the error code I am getting is:
Some iTunes for Windows users with the McAfee Personal Firewall Plus installed may display a -3221 error message when you try to access the iTunes Store using iTunes for Windows. If this happens, change the permission level for iTunes and iTunesHelper to allow full access.
This should allow iTunes and iTunesHelper to both send and receive data from the iTunes Store.
As far as I know I do not have McAfee on my computer, I do however have AOL...all the firewalls are turned off on Windows and AOL...im not sure what the above directions mean (permission level???)

Did you ever have McAfee, and perhaps uninstalled it? McAfee is notorious for leaving scraps of crap behind after an uninstall and it's been known to interfere with stuff...so much so that they actually have a utility for download on their website that cleans up after the uninstaller.
Either that, or AOL uses a version of it?

You'll need to provide some specifics before anyone can help you. Simply saying it "won't load" tells us nothing.

I have tried to turn on the iMac at work and it is making a funny noise like rain drops, very slow ticking and also a blank screen with a flashing question mark comes on. What should I do? I downloaded the Apple hints in rectifying this but I am not computer literate and am a bit nervous to do it as it is the computer of the person I work for....any help appreciated - I was going to go for the simple option and take it to the Apple store - what should I do? When I usually go into yahoo mail, there is an icon at the top left hand side to access my calendar and notepad. They are both gone, but there is a field in the bottom left corner that has the buttons. When I click on either one, I just get a blank screen. I've not updated by Firefox to a new version and can't imagine what happened overnight.
This sounds more like it's a temporary problem with Yahoo's mail website. My advice at this point is to see if this fixes itself within a few hours. If not, please come back (actually, do come back regardless and let us know if your problem is solved).

I have Photoshop CS, purchased many years ago for a LOT of money. Other day went to use it, got msg. "computer configuration changed, need to re-activate. Tried that for days, didn't work. Cannot call ANYONE to find out problem. Am not very computer literate, so don't understand what that means. LOVE the CS program and know how to use it, so don't want to have to learn something new. Don't know what to do. Went to all the big name stores and no one can tell me anything, like what happened to CS or what is replacing it that is the same as CS. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

The file to download the app for Android is not working from my phone--it says that the file isn't there. However it does see the one for the Iphone (even though it can't use it). I've tried it multiple times and continue to get the same message: "NOT FOUND The requested item could not be found". I also tried through the Market application on the phone but ended-up with the same result.
I'm very computer literate and am pretty sure the problem is on your end. If this is the case then no one can download the app. I considered that perhaps because it's still in Beta that it was removed due to some other type of software issue. Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. You sync music the same way as on the Classic. What you sync to an iPod does not effect the iTunes library on your computer.

You have to import the video to your computer by connecting the iPad with cable and then using iPhoto if you have a Mac or Windows Explorer or any other camera application that will import photos and videos. Read this for instructions.

Make sure that you backup and sync with iTunes as well, if You have never synced with iTunes before, it might just be easier for you to backup with iCloud. You can restore from the backup when you get the replacement iPad.
