ITunes + iPhone question - HELP ASAP. :D

Okay, so I am going to install Leopard on my SL Mac, and I am backing up iTunes, if I do this, do I have to resync my iPhone or, if will my Back Ups have my iPhone Backups on them?
Kinda need an answer asap.

If you have a rescue email address on your account (an alternate email address is different) then you can use that to reset them : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

ITunes - iPhone 5 help

Hi, for some reason one of my iTunes albums won't sync to my iPhone. I can't figure out why. Help?

Might there be an ownership issue? Might the Apple ID used to purchase the album be either not authorized in the current iTunes, or be different from the Apple ID used on the iPhone?

ITunes/iPhone syncing help

I just transferred my iTunes to a new Mac and I on my old computer I used to plug in my iPhone and drag the songs I wanted to my "device" and it would add them. For some reason when I go to drag it to my device on the new Mac it never gives me the capability of dropping it in the music folder. Help??

Your iPhone can only be "synced" with one computer at a time. Regardless of authorization for iTunes content.
You need to transfer ALL content from the old computer to the new. Then, you can choose to sync the iPhone by clicking on it in the sidebar, and across the top going through the Summary, Info, Music, Movies, Photos, Apps etc tabs, and checking the boxes to turn ON syncing to this new computer. It should give you a message each time you do this that says that you will wipe off existing content and then add new content that came from THIS computer instead.
Simply de-authorizing the old computer will not solve your problem- that just tells Apple that you no longer allow the computer to play the content you purchased FROM iTunes. It does not affect syncing other than the transferrence of iTunes store purchases from the device they were bought on to the other device.

ITunes/iPhone Question

Hi;
I'm really a Mac guy who's interested in getting an iPhone 4G. But because I'm on an older Mac, I have no choice but to (a) buy a newer Mac or (b) use my SO's new PC, which runs Windows 7. The most economical solution would be to use the PC, of course.
So the question is whether we can have separate iTunes libraries on the PC, for syncing with the iPhone and other Apple devices. I'm also wondering if a Mac is needed to download/manage iPhone apps.

My wife has her mom's old computer. iTunes/iPhone question.

How can she delete her mom's information on itunes and add herself. She already has itunes on her old PC. How will this change if anything plugging in her iPhone?

The first issue is the authorization. Go to the command Store > Deauthorize This Computer. The re-authorize it with the wife's account.
The second issue is the library. Delete any content (songs, etc) that are no longer wanted, and then your wife can add any new content that she has on hand.
Once the library is in shape, your wife can connect her iPhone and sync it.

ITunes/iPhone Authorization help

Recently, I bought a new MacBook Pro, I transferred all of my stuff from my old mac to this one. I go in to sync my iPhone on my new computer, but it says my computer isn't authorized to sync the applications I already have. So, I authorize it and it seems to have worked. But then I try to sync again, still no luck. I bought all my apps using my old AOL account, but apparently these cannot be used anymore. So I am authorizing using a new account I made. But still no luck, it deletes all my apps off of my phone. I am just very confused and don't know what I need to do to get all of my apps that I have purchased, back on my phone. Anyone know? I wasn't aware that Apple got rid of or no longer allows using an AOL email address for an iTunes account. The option remains available to enter/use an AOL email address when authorizing iTunes. It is just an email address and password for the authorization.
When you transferred your iTunes library, did you copy/transfer the iTunes named folder from your Music folder on your old Mac to the Music folder on your new MBP?
Since selecting AOL as the email account type, and entering the AOL screen name and password remains available with authorizing iTunes with an iTunes account, have you tried authorizing iTunes in your MBP with your AOL screen name and password?
Since you won't be able to transfer any 3rd party apps that were purchased/downloaded with your AOL account after creating a new iTunes account with a different email address, you will need to contact iTunes customer support regarding this if you are unable to authorize iTunes on your new MBP with your AOL email account.

Iphone 4s help asap

I just tried starting up my phone and it is saying no service. I think i confirmed my phone number but its not showing it in the settings.phone. section. Is there a way to get back to that setup stuff? Or how can i get it working?

If it's a Verizon or Sprint phone, contact the carrier. I know a fair number of people who have switched to iPhones on Verizon in the last 8-10 months and every single one of them has had to call Verizon because their phone didn't activate correctly. Heck, Everyone I know with Verizon with ANY phone has had to call because the Activation went wonky.

I have forgotten my apple id security questions, and I have an alternate email, but it will not let me reset my questions. Why not?
If this can not be answered, what is the number for the United States line for customer support, and when is it available?

I'm restoring my iPhone right now, need help ASAP

So I've had a corrupt file that's been taking up 7GB in my 'other' stuff on my iPhone 5 so I'm finally restoring it right now, but I'm guessing the backup data with have saved whatever that corrupt file is in it.
So 3 questions: • If I don't want to backup now but for some reason decide I want to in a say a day or so what would I do?
• Can I restore my phone from my iCloud backup, if so how?
• After restoring my iPhone will it create new backup data that will wipe over the already existing data with the corrupt file in it or what?

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
3.Yes on computer it will replace the old backup. (I suggest you manually delete the backup first)

I restored my iphone and updated it but the progress didn't complete and now my iphone is not working. i need help asap.

it seems like apple's activation servers have gone down under the weight of the overwhelming amount of activation requests. you will be able to activate your phone once the servers are able to catch up with the activation requests.

Need help ASAP...iPhone activation problems

Today i bought two verizon iPhones from the apple store. I activated one just fine but I'm having problems with the other one. I used the upgrade for one of my lines on the account to purchase the other phone. I actually bought this for a friend who will use the iPhone on her own personal account. When I went to the apple store they "activated" the phone but didn't hook it up to the computer for iTunes or anything. Are there any steps I need to take before I give the phone to her so she can have a smooth transition in activating the phone because she lives in another state than I do? Do I have to hook the phone up to iTunes and activate it on my line or no? then switch back to old phone? Phone has never been hooked up to the computer. Need help ASAP please.
