ITunes is changing my playlist order when I burn a CD...help!

Whenever I make a playlist in iTunes to the order I want to burn the songs in, after the CD has been burned it has changed the order of the songs.
I have tried clicking on the 'copy to play order' button on that playlist folder, but nothinh seems to work.
please help me I'm going crazy

When you view the CD in iTunes do you have the album column header selected? iTunes will display the CD tracks in the order selected in itunes' columns.
Put the CD in a different player and check the order in which it is actually being played.

How do you stop itunes from changing the playlist window when new song comes on? It is the worst feature of this program!

There's several ways to browse to overcome this in certain configurations but they are finicky to describe and they don't get around what you are seeing in a general browse the whole library mode. It's the way iTunes is designed.

I have Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" on my iTunes and on several playlists. When I play it on my computer it is the correct song, but when it plays on my iPhone it sounds like Mariah Cary singing some other song?? I miss "Breakaway" Help!

Is it possible to change the dimension order when extracting data from HFM?

Hello,
When accessing Consolidation/Extract/Data is it possible to change the dimension order of the extract rather than extracting the standard order?
I can see you can change the dimension order visually by going to "Reorder dimensions" but this does not carry through to the actual extract.
If its not possible using this method is there another method? Trying to avoid using smartview for this purpose.

How can I change the song order when burning a CD?

I'm trying to burn about 20 songs to a CD. However they are in alphabetical order in the burn folder which I don't want. I want then in the original order they were performed. How do I re-order them before burning?
A related question: eventually I will add them to iTunes and I'll want to add info such as the artist's name, album name, etc (these were recorded live by me so they're "blank" audio files). Is there a way to add this info prior to importing into iTunes so I don't have to manually add the same info to each track?

Here's what I ended up doing:
I took the blank songs and added them one-by-one as WAV files into iTunes. Then I modified the "get info" summaries and added the artist name and album name to each. But now I had these huge WAV files... too large to burn back to my iPod. So I created a playlist in iTunes for the 20 songs and then burned them to a CD. Then I deleted the songs from iTunes, then re-imported them from the CD.
Kind of convoluted, but it worked and didn't really take THAT long. I now have the songs on my iPod with all the artist info and a backup CD with the same info and as WAV files.

I have placed forty pics in a folder, and arranaged them in a specific order for a client. When I burn them to a CD, they return to numeric order, based on the number assigned by my camera. Is there any way to have the pics remain in the order I wish them to be?

I'm not sure how you did the burn but one way to have control would be to drag the photos to a desktop folder, arrange them in that folder the way you want them, select the folder and burn it to CD - or DVD. I believe that that will work
Another way, I believe would be to rename the photos so that when they sort they come into the order you want (photo #1, Photo #2 etc)

ITunes U - Lectures not in order when imported

iTunes U lectures synched to my iPod are not in chronological order. As you can imagine, this is frustrating. Any ideas?

ITunes won't sync one of my playlists even when I add it manually. help?

I have just one playlist that won't sync. Ive restarted both my computer and my phone, and synced my phone multiple times. I have even gone through and manually added the playlist, but it still won't sync. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like a single playlist is not syncing from your library to your device.
I want to recommend a couple of things here. First, restart both your computer and your phone.

Try syncing again and if the issue persists, I would next try resyncing your music to the phone, by unchecking the Sync Music checkbox in the Music tab of iTunes when you have your phone selected, then click apply. This will remove the music from the phone.

Pricing date change on service order when creating confirmation.

I want to change the pricing date (and recalculate prices)on service order to the date confirmation is created from the service order.I would like to know if this can be achieved by copy control BADI or order save BADI or pricing BADI ?

Pricing manipulation for an order can be done by using CRM_PRICING_BADI.Use the method CRM_PRICING_MERGE, here you can use the changing parameter CS_PRICING_BADI to change the pricing data.

Itunes keeps shuffling the songs out of order when i burn a CD

I have no idea why this is happening. The shuffle is turned off. I just installed the new version with the same results. Thanks in advance for any help.

It is a weird bug that shows up unpredictably.
The following workaround sometimes help: start a new playlist and add the same songs to it. Make sure the little triangle is above the number column, and get the songs into the right order. Then do the burn from the new playlist.

Itunes 8 changed library track order

My entire library was arranged by the track order of the album from which it came. The upgrade to 8 changed my entire library so that all the tracks in an album are arranged alphabetically. I do not know why this happened, but I would like the tracks in my library arranged by track order (the way that they used to be prior to 8). Any ideas??

I have an ipod touch 4g with the latest 5.1 OS update and the latest itunes installed 10.6.1.7 on my computer.
I usually make and edit playlists on my computer/itunes and then sync it with the ipod.
Lately what itunes has started doing is that it syncs the songs and other things like i want to but when it comes to playlists it will either sync playlists to the ipod with a couple of songs missing from the original playlists or only a couple of songs or just a playlist with no songs . The playlists look fine on the itunes but not on the ipod. The songs are physically there on the ipod and it syncs them fine but not the playlists. Some playlists are okay other are not. No consistency. Sometimes this and sometimes that.
Has anybody got any ideas why it is likely doing this?? software screwup?? some option that i am not selecting or something??

okay, I don't know about the rest, but about the songs never actually loading onto your iPod, I found in another discussion how to fix that. I'm using Windows 7, so I don't know if the steps are the same, but the end result is the same. So go into your Start menu, then into accessories, right click 'Command Prompt' and click 'Run as administrator'. Then type in the following: netsh winsock reset then press Enter. After a few seconds it should tell you to to restart your computer for changes to take effect. Restart your computer, then restart iTunes, then everything should be working fine. It still takes forever sometimes to update the iPod, but eventually it will work. I've had to do this multiple times, so I'd suggest copying & pasting this solution into a notepad or Word document and saving it on your computer, so you don't have to go through the discussions again to find it. This tends to happen to me nearly every day unfortunately Hope this fixes that problem, but I'm not having any of the other problems fortunately, except for removing the artwork of the songs it updates without me asking it too. PS I think my problem may be with iOS 5, because iTunes 10.5 came out before iOS 5, and I think everything was fine before I updated my iPod, but I really don't know where the problem lies

ITunes keeps clearing library + playlists every time I open it. HELP!

This problem just arose yesterday, and I still can't figure out why. Every time I close iTunes and reopen it for any reason, my entire library is gone, as are my playlists. I have to manually import all of my songs back in and it's a real pain in the ***, especially since I have to do it AGAIN the next time I open iTunes. At first I thought it was just a problem with the program, so I completely uninstalled it and reinstalled iTunes 9. Same problem. I can re-import my entire library and reconstruct all of my playlists, but the second I close the program and then open it again, it's all gone again. This has to have happened to someone else, and I'm sure the answer is looking me in the face. Can somebody please help me?
BTW, every time I plug in either my iPhone or iPod nano, it says that it's registered to a different iTunes account, even though the iTunes program I have installed right now has all the right information concerning my accounts.

Yes, many Vaio owners have seen this exact problem. There is some Sony media management software often preinstalled on Vaio systems that causes a conflict with iTunes saving its library database file. Why it just triggered I can't say, but it is a common issue.

Itunes account over rode and erased when a second was downloaded. help!

I had one Itunes account downloaded on my windows used with my Itunes shuffle. I used it regularly. When a second Itunes account was downloaded for a nano, it over rode the first account. All my songs were erased, and now my Itunes won't recognize my shuffle, because the account "belongs" to the nano. Is it possible to have two accounts on one computer? How do I fix this?

Not sure what "accounts" you are talking about - Win XP accounts?

Using Multiple iPods With One Computer

Have downloaded movies in the past and no problems. Now I have bought concerts and rent movies and after 45 minutes I lose sound and have updated quicktimeplayer and itunes is updated as per answer when reported to apple. Help.

First time I have used this system but as per sentences above I cannot watch a rented movie or live concert that I have bought without restarting my pc?
Before I never had this problem and starting to get frustrated with Itunes but no problems with music.
