Itunes is frozen, what to do?
I am syncing my ipod and it was about done and now itunes is completely frozen. Should I slide to cancel on touch. I can't even close out itunes. Any suggestions. I just went thru 11 hours of **** getting 2.0 on there and
don't want to screw anything up.
Don't worry, all it will do is not sync the items you have selected.
Are you installing the 2.0? Or have you done that already?
To close iTunes use CtrlAltDel to open the Task Manger and click 'End Task' on iTunes.

If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Then connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Then hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click the Restore Button of iTunes.

I had some problems with my iTouch and I just restored it to solve the problems, now my iTouch is in recovery mode but it can't sync with my iTunes! whenever I plug my iTouch to my computer the iTunes become frozen and not responding at all! What should I do? I use windows XP so please help meee

If you can't turn the iPod off then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour and try again. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store may be in order. -

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
I live in Italy and I am trying to buy an App, for the first time with my iphone4...in the past only downloaded free apps free apps; I have a US Visa card and it is not accepted by italian Itunes...what can I do to do my purchases?
On the apple website that is correct i beleive.... but i have an italian american express and am able to purchase stuff here in the US.

But you can still use the items in each iTunes library.
Create separate computer logins for each of you.

I have just over 100gig of music in my iTunes library plus what ever else I add in the future. Because of the amount I had to save my music library on an external drive as my laptop did not have the memory to hold it all. I want to back up my iTunes library and save it on a different external drive, one I store all my back ups on. Is this possible? If so how can I do it?
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them. -

On the moment that I connect the Iphone 5 on Windows 8, it is not recognized by Itunes, but actually it appears as a usual USB cable, or as a camera. And then I can't synchronize the Iphone 5 with Itunes. So, what do i do?

If your iPhone is recognized by the computer, but not seen by iTunes, you may need to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service, as described in this article -
