3G and moving to another place (out of country)
What happens if I move, e.g. to another place (out of country) where there is no Verizon or at&t - will my ipad work with another carrier or is the 3g functionality "down the drain?"
It's the same as you would do if you changed country and had a mobile phone. You would set the phone up there with what you needed in that country.

I can't open my itune accont in a computer because i didn't logout my accont in a laptop that is broken.
iTunes accounts can be logged in and authorized on multiple computers (up to five) at the same time.
Signing into iTunes has never caused the media to magically appear.
Use the backup of the old computer to put the media on the new computer. -
Bello, i got a new iPad and i wanted to use iTunes U. I instale debut i can not open It. What should i do. Thank you
Hello Tuka66,
It sounds like you have installed the iTunes U app, but it is not working for you. I would try the troubleshooting steps from this article named:
iOS: Troubleshooting apps purchased from the App Store
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1702
1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
If prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.
Note: If it is a paid app, ensure you are using the iTunes account you purchased the app with originally. If it is not, you may be asked to purchase the app again. Learn more about downloading previously purchased items.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

Turned on laptop (rebooted) after being away from it for a few hours. Went to open my home page. Error message popped up saying Firefox is already running and must be closed. I closed it and another error message popped up saying Firefox can't open - incomplete or missing files.
I went into Processes to close Firefox. Selected 'end process' but nothing happened.
Tried to use Internet Explorer but it just gets hung up. Cannot access anything.
And, because I can't open Firefox, I can't go a refresh.
Everything was working just fine a few hours ago.
Any thoughts? What is the computer system and Firefox on the bad computer?
Separate Issue;
Your System Details on this computer shows;
Multiple versions of your Adobe programs.
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Go to '''adobe.com''' and download the full installers after removing
all of the old programs.
Start '''[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Firefox in Safe Mode]''' {web Link} by holding down the '''<Shift><br> ''(Mac Options)'' ''' key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up in Windows.

Itunes opens in another user account and I can't open in mine
We have a computer with 6 user accounts on it. When ever you open itunes in one account it opens in all of them even when they are not logged in. The admin. accounts wins and he gets itunes so all of the other accounts get frozen out. I have to fight with task manager to end the prosses over and over again to get it to stop running on the other accounts. I only get about 30 secounds before it freezes me out again. What can I do to stop it from open automaticaly in a different profile then I open it in?
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...

I recently browsed ITunes UK store and now can't get back to my iTunes US store. The UK store won't accept my email address as it is in use. So, effectively, I can't make an iTunes purchase. And, this password changing is madness. Everytime I sign in iTunes doesn't recognize my password and so I have to get a new one even though I've answered the useless security questions. Has anyone solved this problem before?
Funny how this seems to be one of the most-asked questions on the Internet. In most cases, no answer is ever checked as "Correct," either. Most answers, as on this page, say to click the flag at the bottom right-hand corner of any store page. The problem? There's only one flag!!! And it's the one of the country we don't want to be in!!!
Just in case this helps someone: what worked for me was to sign in. It then told me my id was not valid for this country, and switched me back to the US. How I was ever able to buy something from the UK store in the first place is beyond me.
By the way, Apple, experiences like this, and many, many other horrible ones with iTunes, is why those of us who do not live in the Apple world continue to stick to their Microsoft PCs. -
ITunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found - QTCF error popup - can't open iTunes
Hi, whenever I try to open iTunes I also get this message:
iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll
I've tried uninstalling iTunes then reisntalling, uninstalling Quicktime, rebooted and I still get the same problem. I also moved QTCF.dll into iTunes. Still get the same error. I also tried a system restore, and I STILL get the same error.
I tried removing everything and turing off my antivirus and I still get this message and my iTunes does not work. Also when the message comes on it will not go away until I re-start my system. Any help out there on this???
Thanks.*Replying to smyth_m*
So I followed the instructions and downloaded the newest version of iTunes like it told me, but after I did that, When I would attempt to get on iTunes an iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not found messege would come up. And it says The procedure entry point sqlite3preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll.
That's a different one, smyth. At the moment, you could try basiam's workaround from the following post:
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10444196#10444196
... however, this could possibly cause trouble in its own right next time you upgrade iTunes, given that there will be a misplaced, older SQLite3.dll in system32 ... So be sure to remember you've got that dll down there, and if you get an odd message about SQLite3.dll when you try launching iTunes *after your next iTunes upgrade,* delete the old copy of the dll in system32 and see if you get a normal launch without it there. -
"iTunes has encountered an error and needs to close" - can't open iTunes
Hi guys,
I'm a huge Apple fan so I obviously decided to upgrade to Apple 7.0.1 the day it came out... installed it. Opened it up, but within just a few seconds i got a Windows message saying
"iTunes has encountered an error and needs to close"
I reinstalled it and still have the same problem.
First few days I could atleast keep iTunes open for a few minutes before the message, but now its down to just a few seconds.
I run Windows XP if that helps any.
Please help me fix this problem or tell me how I can put iTunes 6 back on my computer --- I need my music!
ThanksAfter downloading and installing 7.0.1 my iTunes would not open either. Even worse is you can't go back to v6 if you had v7 running--the database is updated.
Luckily I was able to get my iTunes to open again by doing the following:
Click Start/Run
Type in "%userprofile%\application data\apple computer"
Right click on the iTunes folder and rename it to iTunes.bak.
Close the window.
Click Start/Run again.
Type in "%userprofile%\local settings\application data\apple computer"
Right click on the iTunes folder and rename it to iTunes.bak.
Close the window.
Try opening your iTunes again. It may re-ask some general setup questions, but mine opened without the error, and it still had all my music. However, I did have to re-authorize my computer.
I used to never be leary about updating iTunes... guess Apple's software ain't no peach, either.
Hope this helps someone.

I haven't been able to get onto my itunes for about 2/3 weeks now.
i keep getting error messages come up.
I have just got a new iphone and i can't even synch everything becuae i can't get onto itunes.
I'm so not technical and i don't know what to do, can anybody help ?Hello,
I would love to assist with this issue!
I would delete the program and redownload it. To delete it, use your Windows button, search "iTunes". Then right click on the icon, then click delete.
Once you have done this, redownload it using this link: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you have any other questions, let me know by replying to this message.

Moved user to a different computer, now can't open any files.
I moved my friends account and his home directory to a different Mac and now none of the files will open. The user account name and password are the same and permissions are under his name, but when we try to open a file none will open. If I try to open a Pages file, it crashes Pages. If I try to open a .doc file, I get an error that says "file format invalid".
His home directory is 9gb and the individual files are more than 0k so the information has to still be in there. I repaired permissions to no avail. How do I get this information back?Assuming the short user name of the account is "jim", Log in to the new Mac's admin account and enter these two commands into Terminal:
sudo chown -R jim:jim ~jim [press return, enter admin password when prompted]
sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~jim -

I upgraded to iTunes 10.4 last night and this morning I can't open itunes
I installed itunes 10.4 using the apple software update program on my laptop running windows vista. after it installed I continued to use iTunes to listen to music but had not restarted my computer. So when I started my computer this morning and launched iTunes nothing happens. So I uninstalled it thinking something might have been messed up in the restart and reinstalled it and still iTunes won't start. Anybody else having this issue?
