ITunes is not populating iPhoto 9; cannot add from iTunes to iPhoto 9

I'm working with iPhoto and iMovie 9 and cannot populate my iTunes account when I hit the "Music" selection. I am able to see Garage Band and the generic song list (provided), but cannot access from my iTunes account.
Can someone please help me!?!?

If you can't see iTunes from both iPhoto and iMovie then I would ask that question at the iTunes forum, as the problem seems to lie with iTunes.

You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

My bookmarks are not only gone, I cannot add a new one or import my existing ones from presaved files. I have checked my profiles and I have only the default one.

My bookmarks disappeared just before I left for Christmas. Not having time to deal with it then, I found a copy of html bookmarks that seemed to be current and made a copy of it. This copy starts up Firefox and opens in a window. I can use it to get to my sites. However I cannot import it to my bookmarks. I also cannot add a bookmark in real time. Using your forum, I decided to add the plug-in Torbutton. It did not help and something keeps turning it off. I even tried to import my old IE bookmarks since they have not changed a lot. Everything acts like it has worked but nothing shows up.

No, I see the three areas at the bottom of the Bookmark area that you refer to, but that also highlights an issue. When I want to save a story to my Reading List and click on Share then "Add to Reading List" then go back to look at what is stored in the Reading List, my recently-saved item is not there.
I looked thru the History tab and the Reading List tab and have been in the Bookmark tab. But even when I Save a Bookmark, that newly-saved Bookmark does not show up in the Bookmark area.
But then again, the next day (and actually just in the last half-hour) all of the functionality came back. When I look at the Bookmarks, suddenly, again, all of the Bookmarks that are on my Safari browser on my iMac are now there, and I can now Save a Bookmark.
It keeps coming in and out and that is what is driving me a little nuts.

Base hierarchy not populated after selection in Add Applied Product in MSA

Hi,
There is an issue in Crop Acreage while adding the Applied product in Item Details.
When we select a Base Hierarchy for the Applied Product and click OK, the same doesn't gets populated in the field for Base Hierarchy.
Please let me know how to resolve this. Any pointers would be of great help.

The issue was that the translations were not maintained for other languages.
Hence it was not showing up the values other that English.
Once we maintained the translations in other languages, the issue got resolved.
Now it is displaying Base Hierarchy, once selected.

Computer crashed, songs not backed up, want to add from Nano

I lost my music library when my old computer crashed...have a new system and wanted to add the existing songs from my iPod Nano to my new computer, but it doesn't seem to be an option...is there any way that I can do this...or am I out of luck??

Yes, you can copy songs from your iPod to iTunes.
You can't directly sync or drag music from your iPod to iTunes library, however.
If your iTunes is set for "Automatic" in "Preferences -> iPod" (the default setting), connecting your iPod to iTunes now would automatically delete all the content off your iPod. This action cannot be reversed.
Instead, hold the "Shift" and "Ctrl" keys together for about 20-30 seconds as soon as your iPod displays “do not disconnect” to prevent this automatic syncing from happening.
Now, onto the transferring. There are a couple of ways to copy the songs over to your computer.
You can try the method of manually copying songs from your iPod to your computer by accessing your iPod's hard drive.

New iMac with Lion, do not have iDVD - so cannot burn from iMovie!

I have a new iMac which I bought about 6 weeks ago, I have just done my wedding DVD ready to burn, and find out that I do not have iDVD on this iMac.
I can't download it anywhere, my iMac and the App Store says I have all of iLife '11 instealled but no iDVD.
To be honest I bought the iMac above a PC for the Photo and Movie capabilities, so if I cannot burn to DVD I may aswell bin it and go back to a PC whetre at keast I can share my movies with family, etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Update March 9, 2012:
After reviewing the comments regarding this matter on several posts I contacted Apple support. I had to make two calls. The first call left me very frustrated, completely due to the fact the support member was as helpful as sand paper in a sh*t storm. The rep told me "iDVD is no longer available nothing we can do" then proceeded to say "hope we helped you out today".....
I decided to call again when I discovered none of the third party burning software I came across was equal to iDVD, yet would set me back $$$ for something I should already have on my system. This time the rep listened while I camly explained my dissatifaction with Apples choice to not offer this software. In addition, they haven't issued a proper explanation for doing so or rerouted customers to options equal to or greater than their own software upon making the original computer purchase.
Outcome? a copy of iDVD has been mailed out, which I should expect to be here in a week. I appreciate the reps response in making it happen, but it doesn't change my position Apple dropped the ball on this matter. Furthermore, if iDVD is cancelled then how was it so easy to mail one out? Why not offer it as a free download in the App store? etc etc etc....

Windows media player will not play and I cannot delete from library

Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. This is what I get when I put a CD into play.
It also will not permit me to delete a couple of cd's I copied into my library. And i cannot copy and burn cds'
Any suggestions please? I have done a system restore with no affect. Thanking you in anticipation.

Windows do not open. I cannot download from some sites

Ever since the update to 3.6.12 I have been having prob;ems downloading from certain sites. I am obliged to open an IE browser for those downloads.
WHen I try to manage some Add-Ons the window opens for a split second and disappears.
And now this latest Error 401 - No Proper Credentials.
I am an intermediate but have no clue why this is happening. I just started FF in Admin Mode same problem

This may seem like a very simple thing, but make sure you have a clip selected before you click on the adjustment buttons. If this does not work, you may have to reinstall imovie.

Values are not populated to backing session bean from editable table!

I have a table which has drop down list and checkbox columns. I binded table row group to an object list and binded selected properties of these columns to corresponding fields of object (#{currentRow.value['selected']}). However selected properties are not passed thru the backing bean. In action method i call the object.getSelected method and it always returns null. I am googling for 2 days but i could not find an obvious solution for this problem. please help! thanks in advance.

You can use Lion Recovery
Before you do that, go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.iCal.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.
See if you can print or add an event now.

We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. Overly complicated ugly and generally change for the sake of apples paranoia since the death of Steve Jobs.

You don't have any choice but to restore your phone. If the phone is still working, be sure to back up your contacts first. Since iTunes can't read your phone you can download the app My Contacts Backup, which will back up your contacts as an email attachment. Send this email to yourself; you can later open it on your phone and tap the attachment to re-import your contacts if necessary.
