Itunes is not working..i need help!!!

Its been 3 months without an ipod ... now that i finally got a new ipod my itunes doesnt work.... i dont know why its not working i click it to open it up and it says itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close.... i uninstalled it and than installed it many times... than someone told me to uninstall quicktime but it wont let me uninstall it.... please help mee

it seems like apple's activation servers have gone down under the weight of the overwhelming amount of activation requests. you will be able to activate your phone once the servers are able to catch up with the activation requests.

You may need to put the iPod into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPod and re-sync its content.

"iTunes has stopped working" - i need help! urgently :(

Hi, I am having a major problem with my iTunes program. Until about a week ago iTunes was working fine on my Vista Home Premium. One morning this week I got up and tried to turn it on and suddenly a box would pop up after about 10-20 secs after connecting my ipod touch to the computer saying "iTunes has stopped Working" Then another box would pop up saying that when a solution becomes available, it will notify me or something to that effect. Since then I have tried everything I possible could think of like reinstalling itunes and changing my msconfig settings. I have been on countless forums as well looking for someone who has my exact same problem and the solutions presented their are not working for my situation. If anyone could help me get iTunes back working on my system, that would be great. Thanks

ITunes is not fixing itself need help

I cannot use iTunes on my PC using windows vista home, I cannot remove it or try to do another install. I cannot reinstall using the disk or updates to install, remove, or repair it:
Whenever I install via the download from Apple.com, the install stops midway and gives me an error message saying “There was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete this installation”.
Now when I click on my iTunes icon it says it’s configuring iTunes, and stops and says it could not write to key “\Software\Classes\.m4v” so I have no way of opening it again. And before all this happened I connected my iPod and all the songs got erased off of it.
Quicktime has been uninstalled on my computer, but only iTunes is stuck here.
Please help!!!

ok i got my iTunes back by giving myself access to all the software reg keys and clicking thru all the messages... but now my ipod won't show up on my computer or itunes... help pleaaaaaseee!!!

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone restarts. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. See if better. If not, Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if better. If not you may need to replace the LCD Display or the iPhone may be beyond repair and you need a new phone.

HELP! Ipod 4th gen. Not working! Need help fast!

My ipod 4th gen, died, and when I went to charge it. It showed the screen where the usb cord has an arrow above it pointing to the itunes symbol. I plugged in my ipod to my laptop, went on itunes, and there was no device recognized. And no pop up thing about the device, or restoring the device. I looked up sooo many things and nothing has helped me. I really need help, and fast! REMINDER: Im only 14, and dont have the money to take in my ipod to get it fixed, or to buy a new device. You need to restore the iPod via iTunes. Try the following to get iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Brand new MB and components.
Computer is POSTing ... I think (I can hear the beep and the keyboard lights up.)
I have tried all configurations and know all other components to be FINE. (i.e. monitor, PSU, and RAM are WORKING)
I have reset the CMOS jumper. I have RTFM.
Problem exists between user and solution. Is it my MB and has anyone else had this problem? I think this is a defective MB. This is my last ditch effort before I RMA it.

I mean.. the CPU comment I can understand a mistake but, the RAM comment?! We all know that RAM will run at a lower speed than its rating in accordance with the MB.
I already have an Nforce2 system. This system is SFF. The link you provided is ATX.
PSU is Antec Smart Power 350W. This PSU works in other systems.
Yeah, I had both power plugs connected. (4pin and ATX)
I am going to replace the CPU with a 266Mhz FSB and see is that helps.

Make sure IOS is updated to latest version

Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.

Try to use Headset for Skype on G5, but microphone does not work! Need help

I recently installed skype on my G5, bought a headset, can hear people talking to me, but nobody can hear me. It's not an USB or bluetooth headset, but with 2 plugins (sorry, i'm austrian...).
Does anybody know what setups to change that it works?
I try the system configuration and set up line in and line out...

I have used a headset with the 2 connections. In order to connect I use the Griffin iMic as my adapter. Every once in awhile I get the 2 plugs in backwards and have to switch them.

The other thing I have had happen is that my machine seems to auto mute when I switch things around. Sometimes I have had to go in to the System or program preferences to change the settings. For some reason the system has muted me or the program I am using did not keep the previous settings due to having the headset unplugged/replugged etc.

hello all im back today with big problem with telnet i dont know why !!
i have to computers one of them in my home and the other one in my office both of them use windows 7 so
home PC internet IP : 82.205.100.161
office PC internet IP : 82.102.237.175
so i go to control panel and then to windows features and i check Telnet Client and Telnet server
then i turn off my firewall
then i start telnet service
then i execute netstat -ab to know telnet port :
[tlntsvr.exe]
TCP [::]:135 Hacker-HP:0 LISTENING
is there anythink i need to do to get that damn connection over internet NOT LAN !! pleaze help me i still get this sucks error : Could not open connection to the host

Telnet server use TCP port 23 by default.
