ITunes is not working with the 7.1 upgrade!

My iTunes did the automatic upgrade 7.1.0.59 and it stop working. It was working perfect befored this upgrade. Now I open iTunes it loads up fine but when I try to listen to my music an error comes up ( iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft about this problem.) and it close my iTunes. I tried to re-install iTunes again but had no luck. Can someone please help!!

There are so many of us in this position. Hopefully Apple will release a further update. In the meantime, what you will need to do is completely remove iTunes 7.1 (latest update) then reinstall the previous version. Use this article to completely remove iTunes. (You will not loose your music following this article.) It is very important that all steps are completed.

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

I have a Macbook and iPhone and like to back up to iCloud. However, my work computer runs Outlook 2003, which I know will not work with the iCloud. The company has no plans to update anytime soon. Since the calendar and contact list on my office computer are my primay ones, I hard sync through iTunes. The problem is that any data synced from Outlook 2003 to the iPhone from iTunes does NOT later backup to iCloud. Is there a solution?

I have the same problem with Outlook 2003 and Win XP which the multinational organisation I work for standardises on and will probably stay with forever!

Every time I try to connect to the ITunes Store an error pops up : Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store. I have downloaded the updated software and have access to the internet. Anyone ever run into this problem?

If it still has problems after trying the steps above, try resetting Winsock. It looks like it worked for a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write

Power cycle the cable modem.. you may try leaving it off 5min.. might be enough.. sometimes you need 15min or even longer.. Followed by power cycle of the AE.
Nothing else should be connected to the modem.. except the router that will get the public IP as they only hand out ONE>
