Itunes is only allowing me to burn one track to a cd

i have never had this problem until today but itunes says it can only burn 1 track to each audio cd. this has never happened before and i regularly burn cds. it says that it will require multiple audio cd's for a playlist and only burns 1 song to each disc. these songs are average (3-4 min.) length so i dont understand the problem. any suggestions?

I'm having a similar problem since downloading Itunes 8.0, in that when I burn a CD, it burns the first 2 or 3 songs, and then quits with an "error 4200" message. I've tried everything. Apple support sent me the basic instructions on "how to burn a CD"! I've been burning CDs with ITUNES since 2000. I've tried every fix I can find and recently decided to switch to MP3s because the WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on my computer will burn CDS just fine.
One thing that I am finding is the BRAND of CD-R can affect performance of your burner. I'm going to try to switch to another major brand of CD-R and see if that makes a difference. The ITUNES burner software seems to be a little more finnicky than the Windows software. Unfortunately, there is no other software available for Itunes because of their proprietary system of MP4s they use, and you can't convert them to MP3s to use the Windows software.
So after many years of being a happy ITUNES customer, I'm switching over to MP3s and going to use the Windows player and AMAZON as my store. I recently began to re-buy music that I had in ITUNES using AMAZON and downloading the same songs as MP3s.

Unable to check mark whole playlists to play since last update. ONly allows me to check one at a time. How do I fix?

While in MY MUSIC on itunes, all my music is unchecked. I can not check whole playlists by using the top checkmark to select all. I went to all my playlists, same thing. I can only press them ONE at a time, which will take about a day to check all of them.

Install disk drive from old computer in an external enclosure.

Found iCal events in Time Machine. Now Lion only allowing me to import one event at a time.

Upgrade my macbook pro over the weekend to Snow Leopard and then Lion.   I lost all my the majority of my iCal events.   Went to Apple store and they said that was rare and not sure how to restore my last back up from Time Machine on an external drive.   I've been spending hours trying to go through a bunch of threads on different MAC formums.
So I finally found my iCal events in Time Machine.   When I try to import these events, I am only allowed to highlight/import one event at a time.   This will take me forever to import years of missing data.   I basically have been using my iCal to journal for my 3 small daughters - first tooth, hair cut, etc.   So I am desperate to get these events back so I can get them printed and SAFE.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to import my ics files?   The Apple Store Genius had me tryng to import the corestorage.ics files.   2 or 3 of those files showed they were trying to be imported for over 4 hours.   I finally Forced Quit iCal.   I've tried this several times and same result.
The corestorage files were under user/library/application support/ical/sources
I now located the calendar events user/library/calendars/ then a bunch of coded files leading to the events. These events appear to be the ones I am looking for as I can read some of the files.   I have several years I want to import back into my working iCal.
Please help if you know how!!!

I did exactly what you said (CAN"T believe an Apple Genius did not know this) and I think all of my events got restored.
However, it duplicated all of the calendars - I have 6 (one for each family member plus an extra called home that we all have to do).   Not sure if I did something wrong, but do you have any ideas?
Also, the time setting must be wrong b/c I have events from 2008 showing up in 2012 - same day and time as the old sessoin - just out dated.    Do I need to manually change all of this?   Should I delete the Calendars folder again and try again?
Also, I read some where about deleting a iCal cache file.   Do I need to do this?
I TRULY appreciate you taking the time to help people in this forum.   I have spent hours the past two days trying to figure this out.   Plus, now I need to figure out about upgrading my Office for Mac b/c I didn't realize I lost Office 2004 when upgrading to Lion.

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

This is true and is the way the iphone is intended to be used. It is not a backup device.
You should move your music from the old computer to the new one first then sync. You should have a backup of all of your music/pics/docs/etc. Use this to transfer the music, or the Apple Store will do ti for you, or you can call Apple Support and they will help you.
The iphone will sync to ONE computer at a time. When you sync to another it will erase the media from the iphone and replace with the content from the new computer.

Shared iTunes Library Only Allows One User to Add Music

On an iMac I have two Admin accounts, the original one and a recently added one. Rather than take up hard drive space with two iTunes libraries with the same songs I followed the instructions to let the users share the same iTunes folder.
Problem is, the new account is not allowed to add music to the folder through their iTunes. When I tried to import a CD it tells me that the permissions say they only have "Read" Access and to get info on the folder and change the access settings.
I did that, both users now have "Read and Write" access. But this did not fix my problem. I still cannot import any music into the folder. I tried restarting iTunes with no results then restarted the whole computer, still nothing.
What do I need to do to allow both users to import music into the same shared iTunes folder?

AP Extreme only allowing internet access to one computer at a time

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find a post on point. Have a brand new AP Extreme, with DSL to AP, then wireless to MBP and hard wired to 2 PC's running XP. Finally got it all running together, but the AP Extreme isn't allowing the various computers to share the internet connection. When one computer tries to access internet via mail or browser, receive msg "Internet cnnection currently in use by xxx.xx.x.xx (IP number for one of net computers). Enter DSL login password to switch the internet connection to this computer."
So, now what? How do I configure this network to share the internet connection among the 3 computers? AP is set up as bridge only.

Sorry for the delay, but I wasn't able to access the forums. I finally hooked up the old wired router and PC.
If I configure the AEBS to PPPoE (which is what earthlink wants), I get an error message "Looking for PPPoE server". The network status shows "connected to Internet". Could this be a mistake in the MBP settings or the AEBS settings?
If I revert to using DHCP, then I continue to get the Double NAT error (at least it's reproduceable). I can connect in a limited fashion this way, but some pages (Apple.com prominently) won't load, and my email is very limited.
I see that a number of others are having the same issue with Earthlink. I have several docs from both Earthlink and Apple that purportedly solve the problem...except they don't for me.
So, two questions: in your original post, you suggested that I place my modem in "bridge" mode. How would I do this? I can use either the MBP, wired or wireless, or the PC wired. Once I accomplish that, would that allow me to reconfigure the AEBS back to PPPoE mode sucessfully?
2nd query: do you know a way to configure the MBP to connect with an earthlink ADSL modem using PPPoE. Switching back and forth (wired router to AEBS) it is evident that my problem is the AEBS is not configured correctly with my MBP and Earthlink.
I've been back and forth a dozen times, in every conceivable combination...MBP wired directly to modem, everything hard wired to Linksys router, AEBS & PC's hard wired to Linksys...this is making me crazy.

New version of iTunes will not allow me to burn audiobooks to audio CDs

i just pruchased an audiobook from iTunes. as i've always done in the past, i went to burn an audio CD to back it up. i have did this with Diamond's 'Collapse' and was signaled that it would take multiple audio CDs. no problem. when i went to burn this new audiobook, i was given a warning that sometracks could not be burned to a single audio CD. no kidding? i clicked 'OK' and then was prompted that the tracks would not fit on one audio CD, but would require multiple discs, just as it had always been. no problem. so, i clicked 'OK' and waited, and waited, and waited... you get the picture. nothing happened. i tried it several times. same result. so, i can't burn my new purchase to an audio CD with the newest verion of iTunes. this is irritating because now i can't burn it to audio discs in order to listen to it in my car. why is this not working? i've also had issues with other aspects of the new version, but this is the most immediate problem. my last question went unanswered, so PLEASE someone help me out here since you can't go to iTunes for any help. thanks in advance for any assistance.

I think I've discovered what the new iTunes lets you do. You need to drag and drop a new playlist into the iPod. After about 10 tries at this, and 2 forced quits of iTunes as the screen froze, I finally saw my playlist listed under the iPod contents and the synching began. Then the iMac told me that synching was impossible as it couldn't find the device. No iPod connected! So now iMac shows no iPod attached, but iPod thinks its still synching. I'll leave it for an hour and see what happens.

How do I attach a folder that contains multiple documents? I try and it will only allow me to pick one document at a time.

I'm trying to upload to my school's online blackboard (which is where I submit papers) and I cannot seem to figure out how to upload a folder I made on my desktop. I created multple folders containing more than one document and thought this would be easier then each individual document. But I cannot attach the whole folder. I have to pick each document which I could have done in the beginning!! Any thoughts? I tried to hit shift and then control to highlight all of them but that did not work. Any advice welcome:)

I downloaded one direction on my iphone as a digital playbook but when i go to play it, it only alllows me to play the first song! Help

Itunes will only allow me to sync voice memos and not the music library...

This is the screen I get when I'm pugged in to USB to my computer, iPhone 6s and my iPad Mini. Have to manually download each song and the iPad used to sync. iTunes match is actually off too.
